The Historic Longview Mansion is a wedding venue located in Lees Summit, Missouri. This 105-year-old property’s 22,000-square-foot mansion, 10 secluded acres, picturesque gardens, and variety of event spaces provide an unforgettable setting for couples to celebrate their love.

Facilities and Capacity

With numerous event spaces available, this newly restored venue can accommodate wedding celebrations of all sizes, from intimate affairs to larger gatherings. The Historic Longview Mansion features two outdoor ceremony sites for couples to say “I do,” both providing memorable, scenic backdrops. The Historic Sunken Garden includes manicured hedges and an ornate fountain, while The West Lawn offers an elegant flowering archway and stunning sunset views. For indoor events, couples can opt for The Library, an inviting space with room for 50 guests, or The Pavilion, a tented structure for 270. A state-of-the-art sound system and intelligent lighting are available to help make your event all the more special. This mansion also includes several getting-ready rooms on site, with abundant space for the wedding party to prepare before the ceremony.

Gorgeous wedding venue

We fell in love just driving up the circle drive, looked at each other, and said "Yep, this is the one." Longview Mansion was just GORGEOUS and we got so lucky with the perfect fall day with all the fall colors! Almost every guest made a comment to us about how beautiful and nice the venue was, it definitely has that wow factor which can be hard to find! They are all-inclusive with their catering and decor setup which took a load off my mind. I showed up with my decor in bins and they took it from there and also had things donated from previous weddings that I was able to use as well! I was able to get in with my girls at 10 AM to start getting hair and makeup done in their beautiful 3 room spanning bridal suite. On the other end of the hallway, the groom also has a multi-room suite. I'm sharing all the beautiful photos our photographer Emma Highfill captured that day of the venue and all its glory. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful venue in which to get married.

Gorgeous, romantic estate

My daughter had her wedding reception at The Historic Longview Mansion in October and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue! Not only were the grounds spectacular for outdoor photos, but the mansion provided a warm and charming welcome on a crisp autumn evening. The Mansion has so much history and beauty that we didn't have to add anything to make it look so good. The Pavilion tent was transformed into an elegant dining experience with a club-like dancing atmosphere. Their state-of-the-art sound system was newly installed in partnership with Fernando Productions, KC’s famous #1 DJ service. Kim and Lisa made our lives so much easier. They are genuine professionals who are accommodating, kind and full of great ideas. We researched a lot of venues before seeing the Mansion. My daughter initially thought she wanted a trendy loft downtown near the church. But when she saw this estate (and you get the entire estate with your rental), she fell in love with its romantic, timeless beauty. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. You get so much value for your money here and the team goes out of their way to be helpful. Our guests really enjoyed the venue, too, and we received so many compliments. We were absolutely thrilled with our experience and highly recommend you visit.

Venue of my dreams

I knew I wanted to book the Longview Mansion after just one visit. It’s historical and unique romantic looks had me mesmerized! And the tent- you couldn’t ask for a more perfect place to get down and boogie!
What I didn’t realize when I booked was the outstanding staff and service that came along with it. This place knows how to run a wedding. Kim & Lisa were on top of helping me plan out my timeline, helping us come up with the layout, and setting up everything the day of! Not only that but we were constantly pampered during the day and into the evening with staff checking in to make sure everything was perfect! IT WAS!
Also, all of my guests commented on how amazing the venue was. So as a bride I loved that of course! Could go on and on about the Longview Mansion, but to sum it up- spectacular!!

Kristen was absolutely phenomenal and made our day perfect. We had a ceremony only wedding and it was gorgeous. My guests were blown away and our wedding day was a fairytale. The venue is stunning, the staff is wonderful, and our day went seamless.

Jenny with Longview Mansion could not be any more personable, ORGANIZED, or experienced in what she does. I cannot even begin to describe how gorgeous she made the mansion look the day of our wedding. The grounds and interior were immaculate, as was her smile and coordinating style throughout the wedding day. She was also so easy to work with throughout the year-long process of planning, and provided so much guidance with vendors, timeline, ceremony details, reception options, and décor. I cannot recommend this venue or staff enough!

Perfect in every way! Jenny and the staff went above and beyond to make my daughters wedding day one to remember. We had a major hiccup with a vendor (not the mansion) but Jenny (the wedding coordinator) jumped in to help with seamless timing, a big smile and "we will fix it" attitude. I couldn't have been happier with the venue, the history, the grounds, the staff and courtesy everyone showed. The brides room was heavenly. It was large enough for 8 bridesmaid, a bride, mothers and grandmothers along with 4 flower girls and 2 photographers. Every time I had a question, Jenny was not far away to answer. She and her assistant were always around with a smile and an answer. I would highly recommend the Longview Mansion for a memorable wedding.

My fiance (now husband) and I felt like we had combed through every wedding venue in a 100 mile radius before we stumbled upon Longview Mansion - and we are so glad that we did! The grounds were beautiful, spacious, and very well kept; a perfect setting for a rustic, outdoor wedding like ours! Even though we got married on a blazing hot, humid July day, the inside of the mansion was kept cool and beautiful - getting ready upstairs was a dream for both the girls (the bridal suite is, in a word, AMAZING) and guys. Jenny, the coordinator and planner for the venue, is incredible to work with: she definitely knows what's she's doing and made sure that we thought through even the tiniest of details to make sure every bit of the day was perfect. We never had an e-mail or question that went unanswered and she was so sweet, happy, and flexible through the whole process! The food was delicious and we even received compliments on the professionalism of the staff that served and worked our day - something that put our experience above and beyond any expectations. We couldn't be happier with our decision to get married at Longview!
