Perfect Venue

I couldn’t have imagined a better place to have my wedding. The outdoor space is perfect for an outside wedding and then space inside is so beautifully decorated and pristine and of course can’t forget how amazing the speak easy is. The staff here were wonderful and very responsive and respectful. The Lincoln Event Space was everything I could have imagined when it came to my wedding.

Stunning venue & a great experience!

Our daughter chose The Lincoln Event Space for her wedding, which was 2 weeks ago.

We can not say enough positives about The Lincoln Event Space! From start to finish the communication was prompt, everything explained in detail, & numerous questions answered completely. The venue itself is stunning & all of our guests raved about the Speakeasy & the main reception area. The bridal suite is incredible & we enjoyed our 5 hours of pre-wedding festivities (hair, makeup, pictures), as did the guys in the Grooms Room! Kirstan & her staff were professional & courteous & didn't miss a beat in keeping the day & evening flowing perfectly. When we realized I had forgotten to pick up the table linens, Kirstan immediately stepped in & within 20 minutes it was taken care of. I don't think we could have asked for a better experience, a better day, or a better venue! If we could give 10 stars we would!

We loved our venue!

We had our wedding at the Lincoln 10/11/24 and it was truly the best day.!
The entire process from start to end was flawless. Blake and Christine are so friendly and helpful. From the first time we met them they made us feel comfortable and confident. My husband and I are both so grateful for the Lincoln and their entire crew for making our day absolutely perfect!

Best Day Ever!!!!

From the beginning to the end, everyone at The Lincoln was so amazing and helpful! Anytime I had a question for Blake and/or Christine, they answered within hours and were always so kind. Even texting with Christine about random questions regarding the venue, she was always so prompt. The Lincoln was the perfect space for our amount of people, and everyone was so complimentary of the architecture and beautiful touches that Blake and his team made. Having a Photo Booth at my wedding was always a dream of mine, and The Lincoln has the coolest mirror like Photo Booth with different options to choose from regarding the style and monogram. Planning a wedding can obviously be stressful but with every meeting I had with Blake and Christine, I felt so much more calm and at ease. I had a very unique set up in mind with both round and rectangle tables for our guests, and they made it happen exactly the way I imagined it with plenty of room for the dance floor still. They offered everything I could imagine and more for my wedding. It was the best day ever, and I wouldn't change anything about the day!

Historic, Unique, and Extremely Beautiful

This venue is stunning for any occasion, not just weddings. My event used the Speakeasy downstairs, and the photos online (although very beautiful) do not do it as much justice as the awe you feel when walking into the space. They had a fantastic selection of drinks at the bar, even making new drinks for us, and they took extra care to emphasize the history of the building. Brook, our bartender, was amazing, attentive, and a super friendly addition to our event. We cannot recommend this venue enough, especially if you’re looking for a unique historic place for an affordable price.

HPO made my wedding dreams come true!

The Historic Post Office was one of the best decisions we could have made when planning our wedding. We loved everything about having them as our venue. Everyone who works there is so helpful, professional and kind. Our guests were raving about how unique and classy it is! As an Ottawa local, I was so happy to have my wedding in my hometown. Every time I think about HPO it's hard to pick my favorite part. We got married in the garden area and it was absolutely gorgeous. The ballroom is the most beautiful and open space. And the speakeasy speaks for itself with the coolest and classiest vibes. If you're considering booking with them - just do it!

Flawless, the venue coordinators are amazing. The venue is beautiful, my wedding was PERFECT!

My wedding wouldn’t have been what it was without this venue. It’s gorgeous and timeless. The staff was fantastic. My favorite is the speakeasy in the basement, made for a perfect cocktail hour for my guest!

Hidden Gem of Kansas

Every moment leading up to my wedding went so smoothly thanks to the AMAZING staff at the Historic Post Office. Wedding day I was full of peace knowing that everything was taken care of thanks to Brooke! Everyone I spoke with and worked with at the Historic Post Office was incredibly kind and had great wisdom to offer as I put the event together. On top of incredible staff, the venue itself is truly a hidden gem of Kansas. This venue space has wonderful tall ceilings, which gives the space an open feeling that a lot of other indoor venues lack. It is very modern and has minimalist art deco details that decorate all throughout! There is also a beautiful outdoor garden that could be used for your main space or a private first look. If you are hoping for a venue space that has it all, you want to come here!

Fantastic Venue and Staff!

The Historic Post Office was truly amazing. I initially fell in love with the incredible venue but the owners, staff, and coordinators sealed the deal for me. Specifically Brooke was absolutely amazing. She was thorough with her work but also incredibly kind every step of the way. With that being said, the venue does tend to up charge on a lot of things (standard with most venues but I still don’t agree with it) There is extra charge for using outside caterers, holding a dinner after the rehearsal, or being at the venue on the wedding day for more than 10 hours. Again, it’s pretty standard but I would say that is the only downfall. Overall, I still absolutely loved the HPO and would hold another event there in a heartbeat!
