I rarely write reviews, but Jon and the rest of the Grooveline team far exceeded expectations for our destination wedding in Cabo.

From the start, Laura the band's assistant director was highly organized and helped us with the quote, contract, and all commercial matters – everything was very straightforward and fair. We wanted a simple all-in quote with a single price including all travel and expenses. They delivered that and stuck to it without any “trickle costs” surfacing later. Other bands we spoke with during the quote process only wanted to quote a performance fee with additional travel and equipment rental expenses “to be determined” after contract signing, which creates unnecessary uncertainty for planning and budgeting. With Grooveline, we didn’t have to worry about any of that. Everything was known and agreed to upfront. They were extremely easy to work with.

We booked them “sight unseen”, meaning we had not heard the band play live in person until our wedding day. We assessed them based on YouTube videos and online reviews. Other bands “over produce” their online videos, so you really have to focus on separating the wheat from the chaff in terms of talent level of the vocalists and musicians. This can be a nerve-racking process chock full of second guesses, so let me put your mind at ease – the band looks and sounds absolutely amazing. We wanted a high energy party vibe, and they chose the perfect set list based on our loose guidance. We knew we made the right decision about 20 seconds into the first song of the night. Everyone was blown away and had a phenomenal night on the dance floor. The band’s performance was the highlight of the evening and an excellent way to cap off our wedding weekend.

Grooveline was honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They flew to Taiwan on extremely short notice and still handled everything with total class and professionalism.

In terms of value for money, their initial proposal was outside our budget, but they were very willing to work with us and adjust. At the same time, we were blessed that a friend stepped in to cover a large portion of the cost - the timing of everything truly felt like God put it together. Without Grooveline’s flexibility and our friend’s support, this wouldn’t have been possible.

We brought 9 people total (7 musicians, a manager, and a sound engineer), and let's just say - they made the night truly unforgettable for all who attended. Traditional weddings in Taiwan are usually quiet and pretty passive, but once Grooveline started playing, guests of all ages rushed to the dance floor. Many said it was the most fun wedding they had ever attended. Even with an open bar, alcohol consumption was low — to us - this just means people were really having the good time sober and really enjoying the high energy and joy the band brought :)

We truly feel blessed and gratetul to have the chance to work with them and yes - would absolutely recommend them!

All you need for a great wedding is a happy couple and this band. They brought professionalism, fun and excellent musicians and the dance floor was packed for 3 hours.
