I originally wasn't going to have a videographer at our wedding because I figured pictures would be enough, but I am so glad that I was persuaded to hire Goodfolk Film Co. Since receiving the video a few days ago, I've watched it multiple times a day! Others that I've sent the link to have also said they've watched it multiple times and have been crying happy tears! The day was so special, but flew by so fast, so it's such a wonderful thing to relive some of the best moments over and over again.

Goodfolk Film Co. was on a list of recommended vendors by our wedding venue, and after looking through all the suggested videographer recommendations as well as some from my own research, I kept going back to Goodfolk Film Co. I loved the editing style, the clips that were chosen in each reel, and how each video made me feel emotionally invested in these couples that I didn't even know.

Additionally, it was so easy and comfortable to work with Mauricio and his partner. While filming, nothing felt forced, and they just went with the flow. After the wedding, I asked Mauricio if he could piece together some additional footage we had from a previous ceremony, and with no hesitation he made it all work!

For anyone who is unsure about what vendors to include in their wedding, from a once non-believer, I would highly recommend that you hire a wedding videographer, specifically The Goodfolk Film Co!

We hired Mauricio from Goodfolk Film Co. to be our wedding videographer, and it was one of the best decisions we ever made! His amazing work speaks for itself -- my husband and I loved his style, storytelling, and cinematography. We knew we had to book him ASAP!

Mauricio is also very thoughtful about the logistics required to create each video, and makes you feel 100% part of the process. There was always open communication between us prior to, during and even after our big day. On our wedding day, he made us feel super comfortable with the whole filming process. He knew all the right shots to take, how to direct us and our guests, while still allowing us to have fun and enjoy each moment.

When our daughter's wedding planning started we began the search for a good videographer who was also skilled at drone video.  Since the wedding service and reception were at beautiful locations, we wanted some aerial footage as part of the videos.  After many hours of research and wedding video sample watching, we decided on The Goodfolk Film Co, who are also licensed and bonded at drone video  The owner Mauricio Ageno worked with me to decide the best video package, we had discussions about what we wanted, we signed an agreement, and he arrived on time the day of the wedding.  He was with us the entire day and was very professional.  He really helped make a hectic day more simple, and was able to capture moments on video that we would have never seen without him.

We chose a package that gave us multiple videos with full length scenes (ceremony, bouquet toss, etc.) and a much more stylized "highlight film" that only lasts about 5 minutes.  We're very happy with all the video footage, but the highlight film is what we've most impressed with. Mauricio is a master wedding movie director, and the short highlight film is perfect to share with friends, family, or on social media.  Our highlight video looks like a 5 minute Hollywood produced movie trailer with some sweeping drone video shots of the venue, video of wedding service and reception footage that includes slow motion video, music we chose overlaid over video footage that's edited to sometimes have music playing softer to be able to hear dialogue, or music played louder for dramatic effect.  It's so well produced, many friends say they've watched it 2-3 times, and mention how emotional it makes them feel.   It's skillfully woven together and only someone with Mauricio's ability could produce something that's as visually stunning, and able to stir emotion as well as it does.

We couldn't be any happier with what Mauricio Ageno and The Goodfolk Film Co created for us.  The wedding day went by in a flash, but thanks to Mauricio and his artistic ability, his videos help us relive our daughter's wonderful wedding day whenever we want.

My husband and I both agree: choosing Mauricio as our videographer is the best choice we made for our wedding, other than each other. His work is INCREDIBLE! And on top of that, he is vibrant, funny, full of good advice and ideas, and easy going. He is just such an expert at his craft, and we are so thankful that we chose him.

Mauricio of Goodfolk film is a true artist and master of his craft. Our wedding video captures us perfectly (colorful, loud, boho, quirky). He has an innate skill for capturing a couples soul and whatever vibe or style you were going for for your wedding will shine through in film. Capturing these memories was BEYOND worth it. In addition to the gorgeous final product, working with him throughout was a dream. He fit right in with our friends but also was never intrusive and we hardly noticed him shooting which is unreal when we see our video. We are so grateful and even people who said video was an unnecessary extra expense are true believers now and huge fans of Goodfolk. We have gotten so many comments on our wedding video and we are so happy to get to re-watch it as the years go by. Even though I am married now I will continue to watch Mauricio's other videos because they are that good (and I love a good cry).

Mauricio is truly a master of his art. He was very personable making our communication easy and comfortable. He worked well with our photographer and was very well prepared the day of. We had zero doubts about what he was capturing and recently received our videos. We were absolutely blown away!!!! The beauty of the video and all the love that was captured was/is so perfect!!!!! I love that I get to look back on our special day through the eyes of someone that truly knows how to capture the absolute best of a couples greatest adventure. Booking Mauricio as our videographer was a last minute decision and the BEST decision. Having a video was on the “nice to have” list of items for the big day, but several weeks before the wedding it became a “need to have” item. Luckily, Mauricio still had our date available. He was extremely responsive to all of our questions while we finalized our package. The whole wedding day he had the perfect balance of giving direction and capturing moments without intruding. He also worked great with my photographers! Our priest even commented on how he did a great job of not being a distraction during the ceremony. After the wedding he was super communicative about the timing of getting our video and was so helpful while we went back and forth on our music choices. I immediately cried when he sent over our finished video…he captured everything that day so perfectly! My only regret is not having him stay until the very end of the reception to capture even more of the dance party. Thank you for everything, Mauricio!

Mauricio was a pleasure to work with! We had not originally planned to hire a videographer, but we're so glad we did. Mauricio beautifully captured all of the important moments, yet remained inconspicuous (guests later commented that they hadn't noticed we had a videographer). Hiring The Goodfolk Film Co was easily one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. Mauricio filmed both our rehearsal dinner and wedding, and I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Mauricio was very responsive, professional, utterly reliable, and fun to work with. He was very down-to-earth and responsive to suggestions or changes that I wanted made. I particularly appreciated that he set reasonable expectations for what was possible with the package I had chosen, which helped me to narrow down my requests for the day. His work was excellent, and my husband and I will cherish his videography for years to come.

It's hard to capture the feelings you have as a bride-to-be. There is a vast amount of choices and work that goes into a wedding and one of the key lessons I have learned is that a wedding's quality is highly impacted by the team of vendors you have chosen to ensure your day goes perfectly. The Goodfolk Film Co. were ideal partners at my wedding to my now husband, Philippe. From start to finish, Mauricio was attentive, quick to answer emails and calls, and was incredibly down-to-earth in the pre-wedding planning process. He's good folk, you know?

While the pre-planning process went smoothly, I have to say I don't know where I can even start describing the end products. Mauricio was incredible the day-of, but the videos he created? It feels like he shot my day as if it were a movie. After I watched the teaser trailer to our wedding (a 7 minute cut of the whole day) - I literally said "Geez. I'd want to watch that movie." As a bride who spent probably 100 hours planning the wedding, that's the exact type of response I'd want to make after watching my wedding video. And that's what you're looking for right? You want to capture the magic from your day and feel it for the rest of your life. You want to view your wedding and say, "yeah, I want to live that life with that special person for the rest of my days." Mauricio is a videographer, but really, he's someone who helps you relive one of the best days of your life. And that is priceless.

In terms of cost, we ended up going with a photographer and videographer package which I personally don't think Mauricio charged enough for. Mauricio has photographers that travel the country and are award-winning professionals to capture your day. Their professionalism was remarked upon by multiple guests from the day. And in the package you get drone footage of the event area, you get unparalleled service, you get a funny photographer and videographer the day of, and you get some really high-quality video and photography artifacts afterward.

I think this was the smartest vendor choice I made for my wedding. His work was emotional, authentic, and elegant. I highly recommend his work to anyone who is looking to immortalize their day. Feel free to consider me a resource if you want more information.
