Highly Recommend!

Cindy at the Flower Station helped us with all flowers for our son’s wedding last weekend. She did an amazing job with the selection, producing many compliments. Easy to work with and reasonably priced. We highly recommend!

Last minute I wanted more ceremony displays and the Flower Station made these beautiful wild flower looking bouquets. They looked great.

Jodi at The Flower Station was GREAT to work with. From our first visit, she was very flexible and was extremely helpful with creating what I had envisioned. I'm a very visual person, and she was able to create mock bouquets and boutineers for me, which helped me make my decisions. As I lived out of town, my communication with her from there on out was via phone, and she always promptly returned my calls, and even mailed me a couple updated receipts along the way when I made adjustments to my original order. There was a little confusion when the flowers were picked up, however the ladies at the shop made sure to provide me with additional arrangements to make up for it. The only thing I'd recommend is to arrive early to pick up the flowers to double check your order. Overall, the arrangements were BEAUTIFUL and the service was GREAT.

Our wedding planner coordinated our flower order through the Flower Station. We wanted a specific flower due to my husband's heritage and were initially told that they could do this even though it was out of season (we were willing to pay extra to get these flowers). About a month before the ceremony we were told (through the planner) that we would not be able to get the other flowers, which was highly disappointing. Instead, we went with roses which is hard to mess up. Sadly, we were highly disappointed with those as well. The purple roses all had brown on the edges like they were very old. It was so bad that the photographer was unable to take close up pictures of my bouquet with the rings because it looked horrible. My husband's boutoniere started to fall apart before the ceremony even started. I was very disappointed with the quality of flowers compared to the high prices. (Total $207.76 for bridal bouquet with 7 roses, maid of honor bouquet with 3 roses, 3 boutonieres, and 4 corsages.)

Lack of Customer Service

Picture 1 shows what we ordered from their website. Picture 2 shows what was delivered, and picture 3 was what they replaced them with. Please note that we sent these flowers to my mother to start her week off with a smile. Cindy, The Flower Station's manager lacks any empathy, compassion or ability to see something through the customer's eyes. There is a 100% drastic difference between what was ordered and what was delivered. When we called to inquire, Cindy at no time took any responsibility for the difference. She only blamed Joe Biden, the supply chain, the growers and even gas prices for the difference in the bouquets. THEN, in a hasty and terrible decision, Cindy got with the owner of The Flower Station and decided to replace the flowers they sent, with the 6 stems in picture 3. Driving back to my mothers home to pick up the old flowers and drop off the bouquet that looks like you picked it yourself alongside M22. We told her to please not do this, and she did it anyway. When I called this morning, NOT ONCE did Cindy apologize or try to understand what had happened and the strange situation she put my mother through. She once again burst into talking over me defending her position as "just a manager" and "the owner told me to do so". Furthermore, shame on the owners of The Flower Station, who(m)ever you might be to make such an irrational call to "right" your wrong by placing my mother in the middle of your inability to update your website for what you can actually offer for the money, vs a dream scenario of flowers that can never be delivered. Next time you are looking to spend your hard earned dollars in Traverse City on flowers for a loved one, please do yourself a favor and do not give your money to someone who obviously only cares about blaming everyone but themselves for their shortcomings and give your money to another local florist. Hopefully they will have the pride to deliver what they promise on their website and the compassion to make it right if they cannot.
