There's not enough amazing things to write about Daniel and our wedding photos. We knew from the moment we found his page that his style was exactly what we wanted for our wedding pictures. There's something so intimate and candid about his photos yet each picture tells an entire story, it's incredible. His vintage/moody vibes makes it feel like he's shooting on old school film yet he brings a modernity in with a lot of his compositions and unique angles. I can't express how much joy I get out of looking at literally every single picture we got back from him and trust me there were plenty! Besides being an incredible artists (which his work speaks for itself) Daniel is the most down to earth, easy to work with, chill, funny, amazing guy. It was so fun to have him there on our special day. He had us laughing and goofing around, made us feel so relaxed and stress free, and it absolutely shows in the pictures. There's none of that stiff, awkward smiles, staged feel, that you often get with portraits and it has everything to do with him.
We are completely and totally in awe of how well he captured our day and our love. Every moment big and small was so beautifully done, he is truly such a talented artist. WE CANNOT RECOMMEND HIM ENOUGH TO CAPTURE YOUR SPECIAL DAY!! Can't wait to work with him for any future shoots we will have!

We absolutely LOVED working with Danny as our wedding photographer! When we interviewed photographers, we were deciding between a company that had shot countless weddings at our venue and DV. I am SO HAPPY we went with DV. Unlike the photography company, DV got to know us as a couple and tailored the experience. On our first call, DV and I chatted for an hour about our wedding and just life. He is the kind of person that puts anyone at ease (including my camera shy husband!) and could chat for hours over a beer.

This all translated to an incredible experience on our wedding day. We met Danny at our friends wedding and three years ago and within the first exchange of connection we knew he was it! We didn’t even have a wedding date yet but, we knew that he was going to be our guy. We reconnected about a year later at our other friend’s wedding (no surprise there) haha.. only to confirm with him that we still really wanted him to be apart of our day even though we still had nothing planned and no date in mind. Months later when we finally began our process, and you guessed it, he was the first person we called! To put it lightly, he’s a breath of fresh air. Don't hire Danny of The DV Image if you have 1,000 Pinterest inspos and want your wedding day to go exactly as you've dreamed for months and years. Don't hire Danny if you have a strict vision and pics delivered exactly one week later so you can make cards and websites. Don't hire Danny if you're planning a dramatic first dance moment and he must capture the exact second your husband lifts you into the air from the most optimal angle. Danny can do all that and take gorgeous photos. But so can most wedding photographers.

Hire Danny because he is one of the most authentic human beings you'll ever meet. Hire him because he's an entire vibe, and approaches your love story with a lens that honors who you and your partner in the most candid way. Hire him because you don't want to pay for just pretty pictures, but to have someone tell a story that does the entire lead up to your wedding day justice. Hire him because he himself is a talent unmatched, and you trust that this is what he will bring to your wedding day and deliver something that you and everyone who attended your wedding saw: two human beings so in love, and so thankful to have been able to celebrate that love with their family and friends. Danny is our wedding bestie and will continue to be our life bestie, and we couldn't be more happy that we met him through the arcane process of getting married. Not only is he insanely talented, but he is funny, caring, supportive, and creative AF! He is a ball of light and positive energy -- by hiring Danny, you don't just hire a photographer, but you hire someone to support and hype you up (in the most fun and not obnoxious way). Danny (and his team) somehow capture all the big moments, and all the small, beautiful moments that others might overlook.

My wife and I spoke to 4-5 photographers when deciding who to work with for our wedding, and the genuine warmth and passion we felt from DV (even through FaceTime) stood out to us big time from the first meeting. We did an engagement type shoot and the wedding day with DV, and he had an incredible way of having fun and being in and a part of the moments, while also capturing them beautifully.
His costs are very reasonable for an experienced NYC area photographer, and he had a good network/community of photographers/videographers. His second shooter that he brought to the wedding day was awesome, and he introduced us to 3 videographers who were all very good, and the one we went with worked really well together with him through the day/night.

We have worked with handfuls of photographers and can confirm that DV freaking CRUSHED it. This shoot is so unlike the others we’ve done and we are truly just blown away with his work!
