The Dorian String Quartet was amazing!!

Although I didn't get to hear most of the music (the bride doesn't have a ton of time to linger during the ceremony and cocktail hour), I heard raving reviews from all my guests! Someone even pulled me aside to tell me that my quartet was amazing, and they wanted to know how I found a group that would play Coldplay on their string instruments.

I knew that I wanted to walk down the aisle to "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perry. Alexis told me that it would be no problem at all and it was absolutely beautiful.

The Dorian String Quartet was amazing. they made our ceremony beautiful. They played the music we requested when it was to be played and improvised during times they needed to. They helped complete our ceremony and even traveled in horrible rain!

In a word, outstanding. Alexis worked with us to come up with a song list for our Church Mass wedding. The Dorian played beautifully for 20 minute before the start of the wedding – and transitioned seamlessly into playing three different pieces: for the seating of the mothers, the processions of the bridesmaids, and the procession of the bride. They accompanied the bride’s friend, who sang Ave Maria (they graciously agreed to a quick practice with her, 45 minutes prior to the event), and played during the lighting of the unity candle. From the prelude to the recessional, the Dorian were so completely musically adept – and added beautifully to our wedding.
