My husband and I recently got married in February 2021, and had the absolute pleasure of working with Joan from The Crepe Cakerie for our wedding baking needs! When we originally consulted with Joan (who was so incredibly flexible during the pandemic), we knew we wanted something different from the classic wedding cake. She walked us through her process of how she makes and thoughtfully curates the design of her crepe cakes for each wedding, and we instantly fell in love with her style! She arranged several seasonal flavors for us to try at a (COVID-friendly) outdoor tasting, and we opted on a two-tier crepe cake with lavender lemon filling in one layer, and raspberry filling in the second. Her crepe cakes are so light and delicate and the fillings are SO FRESH (she even incorporates herbal and floral elements from her garden)! We also ordered individually wrapped dessert minis for our guests to enjoy that included salted caramel pecan brownies, lemon bars, and her unbeatable english toffee! We were so impressed the day of the wedding with our gorgeous dessert table that Joan beautifully arranged, and our guests raved about how delicious all of the treats were. We were so thrilled with our unique wedding cake, and would recommend Joan’s artistry to any bride and groom to be!

Joan is excellent at what she does. Her crepes are so tasty and her attention to detail is unmatched. She worked so hard to ensure every small detail was perfect. She spent so much time with us making sure we had exactly what we wanted. She is dependable, highly skilled, and fun to work with. We got so many compliments from our guests. I would highly recommend working with her for a personalized and unique experience.

As soon as we found The Crepe Cakerie on WeddingWire, we were hooked. We set up an appointment to meet Joan and immediately loved her and the cakes. She brought a variety of mini crepe cakes to try and even set up a little vase with mini roses. She gave us some leftovers to take home and we decided to book The Crepe Cakerie that night. The cake was beautiful and delicious. We also really enjoyed working with Joan - she's so friendly and enthusiastic!

Joan is a dream to work with! She takes pride in making her cakes and ensuring the presentation looks as good as everything tastes. Everyone at my bridal shower loved her mini cakes! These are perfect for any occasion or celebration.

There are not enough ways to say how amazing Joan is!! We asked her to design our cake and table decorating however she thought it should be, and we were SO glad we did!! We could have never described a cake more beautiful than the one she made us!! It was also so exciting to show up to the venue and be surprised with what our cake would look like! Joan is so sweet and amazing at what she does!! I would ask her to make our cake again in a heart beat! Her salted caramel sauce is also incredible!!

The staff at The Crepe Cakerie made planning our wedding desserts so easy. They were responsive, efficient and met every one of our needs! They created the most beautiful cake and we could not have been happier! Thank you Crepe Cakerie!!!!

The crepe cake that Joan created for my daughters wedding looked beautiful, was delicious, and she was so accomodating and easy to work with - we'd highly recommend her to others!

We asked Joan with The Crepe Cakerie to work her magic for our first dessert as a married couple at our Malibu coast wedding last May. Joan went out of her way to let us test 8 different flavors for our wedding crepe cake, did a full-tier test run and made sure the final product was even better than we could’ve imagined!! She arranged the display herself so that it completely complemented our wedding vibe and took our cake photos to the next level.

Joan made a three crepe cakes for my baby shower and they were incredible! They looked magical topped with fruit and greenery..plus it tasted divine. It turned the heads of all my friends and family. Joan is the sweetest person you will ever meet, is extremely professional and has a serious gift for making sweet treats. Highly recommend!
