Monicakes is a wedding bakery located on Long Island in New Hyde Park, New York. Founder Monica Kurup is a self-taught baker whose passion for making sweet treats began in 2016. She started out focusing on cakes and soon expanded her repertoire to include a large variety of desserts. Monica enjoys working closely with couples to craft the baked goods of their wildest dreams. This baker loves trying new recipes and is more than happy to create whatever mouth-watering dessert you desire for your reception spread.
Services Offered
Monicakes’ wedding cakes can feed up to 60 people and come in a range of flavors, including chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, coffee, lemon, and coconut. These are iced exclusively with buttercream frosting and can be filled with ganache, cream cheese frosting, jam, or custard. In order to sample flavors ahead of your wedding, you can order a cake box that comes with five slices of different options. In addition, Monicakes offers dessert spreads that can consist of cupcakes, cake pops, rice krispies, donuts, cookies, meringues, macarons, and many more.
