Since 1947 The Colony has been at the center of Palm Beach social life hosting U.S. Presidents, European Royalty and American “Snowbirds” down for the winter season and all manner of discriminating travelers from around the world. The hotel's ideal location is adjacent to world-famous Worth Avenue in the center of the town anda block from the beach.

The Colony's classic Bristish architecture and pink facade feature 90 guest rooms, suites, villas and penthouses which are beautifully appointed, having pillow top mattresses and 350 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets with European duvets. Three spectacular Penthouses top the main hotel and an adjacent mansion, Casa Manana, has been beautifully reconfigured into seven spacious villas.

A true “boutique” hotel, small in size with a distinct personality, The Colony exudes charm and a truly friendly feeling. Some guests stay for weeks, even months. Many life long friendships have begun at our pool and lively conversation is a constant during cocktail-hour at the famous Polo bar or the relaxed and airy Palm Court.

Although small, The Colony is a full-service hotel with Room Service, Concierge, Valet Parking, great food and top-notch music and entertainment. There are no conventions as such but many small, upscale corporate, political and university meetings. Dignitaries are a frequent occurrence and recently have included Presidents Bush and Clinton, Prince Edward and Princess Sofia and many others. The Colony has been discovered as a little gem for destination weddings which come to us from New York, Dallas, even London.

Around the corner is America’s most unique shopping street, Worth Avenue. Three blocks of famous upscale retailers with fascinating little vias having dozens of high-end boutiques and galleries surrounded by classic Mizner architecture. Storefronts include Tiffany, Gucci, Ferragamo, Tourneau, Neiman-Marcus, Saks, to name only a few.

Beautiful, picture perfect wedding

Accommodating, lovely, beautiful, classy. Do it! So worth every penny. The venue is beautiful and the food is delicious. Everyone was so impressed. Guests told me they felt like princesses at the colony so you can imagine how being the bride felt 💕💕

Perfect From Start to Finish

We cannot recommend The Colony Hotel for a wedding enough. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous & has the best staff in the world. Pictures do not do the property justice you must experience it in person - the ambiance is incredible. Elizabeth, Kelly, Tom, and their teams made planning our wedding at The Colony a breeze (note: we booked & planned our wedding with only 6 weeks notice - they worked tirelessly to ensure everything was coordinated & executed perfectly. An incredible feat especially given the short time frame). The hotel & its various event spaces are already decorated so beautifully it's literally impossible to not end up with a stunning wedding or event. We held our ceremony in The Solarium then the cocktail hour on the (air conditioned) patio and our reception in the Coral Ballroom. The food and cocktails were fantastic & the service was 10/10. There isn't a single thing we would have changed or wanted done differently. Elizabeth & Kelly were extremely accommodating with all of our requests & always promptly replied to any of our questions. There is not a single thing about our experience with The Colony we could possibly complain about.

Just Amazing

I absolutely loved everything about having my wedding at the Colony. Robin was amazing at helping us plan and take care of all the details. The venue was beautiful..and so much fun. The staff was incredibly professional and over the top accommodating. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make our day so special.

We got married at The Colony a few weeks ago on 2/18/18 and we could not be happier with the way the day turned out. From the beginning, the service level and responsiveness from Robin Gutilla (Events Coordinator) was like none other. The venue is absolutely stunning and the value you get for the service and food is unreal. They were so flexible with special requests and we never got the sense that they tried to nickel and dime us on add-ons. All of our guests raved about the venue and everyone LOVED LOVED LOVED the food! The quality of food was great and I cannot express enough the level of service that was provided. Robin was also the Day Of Coordinator and I did not have to worry about a single thing on the wedding day. Everything was PERFECT.

We never write reviews but this time it's totally worth writing about...we can't stop raving about it! Even our family/friends can't stop talking about it! Stop searching every venue and choose the Colony Hotel immediately! The Colony Hotel is the BEST venue in South Florida to host your wedding! There is no other place that compares to it! From the moment we walked into the lobby, we knew we had found the perfect venue! To get the full effect, you NEED to go SEE the venue and get a tour of the beautiful ceremony, cocktail area, reception room and hotel rooms. Pictures give this place no justice! Check out the Presidential Suite and Villas! You have to see it with your own eyes to get the full experience! Even the scent of the lobby makes you want to immediately move-in. Our family is very hard to please so we had to make sure everything was top-notch....the Colony exceeds top-notch! Every bride wants to feel like a princess on their wedding day...we were treated like royalty for the entire weekend! Robin Gutilla is amazing to work with and she knows how to put on a great wedding and make it "extra special"! Most of our family stayed at the hotel for the weekend so Marta Weinstein was so great and she made special hotel room accommodations for us and our guests! Everyone had an amazing time and didn't want to leave after the weekend was over! We didn't even want to leave for our honeymoon! We wish we had another party or something to host, just because we want to go back and spend time at the Colony Hotel! Call the Colony Hotel and see Robin and Marta now! You'll immediately feel like royalty!

The Colony Hotel was the perfect location for our December wedding! The service, food and ambiance were a dream come true. Our guests were so impressed by the food and overall experience. Robyn made the process so easy and was wonderful to work with. She also provided a ton of support in selecting vendors which was really appreciated as an out of town bride! They really went above and beyond. Everyone staying at the hotel fell in love with the every aspect of this special location. We can't wait to go back to reminisce!

The Colony Hotel and Robin Gutilla were so accommodating and thought of everything to make our ceremony and reception and amazing location but also a wonderful hotel for our out-of-town guests who comprised the majority of our invite list. They truly are a quality full-service venue!

Just a phenomenal experience, from start to finish. We were the first event in the newly renovated Ballroom, and every single aspect of our wedding weekend was flawless. The new Ballroom is stunning. Most of our guests stayed at the Hotel for the entire weekend, and the entire Hotel Staff was so very gracious, and accommodating. The newly decorated rooms are fresh, bright, and plush. We used most of the vendors recommended by the Hotel, and they were all excellent. The food, the wait staff, and all of the services provided for the reception were incredible. Our guests were wowed by the entire weekend. A big thanks to Robin, for her expertise in planning, and flexibility in executing our vision. From our 1st meeting 8 months prior to the event, to our final goodbye, she was the best of the best. Great job, and kudos to everyone at The Colony.

We had a fabulous wedding at The Colony Hotel! We worked with the event coordinator, Tricia, who made sure that our wedding day was just as we envisioned. The food was fabulous. The hotel doesn't have organized "food tastings" prior to events, but we were able to dine at the hotel prior to the wedding and meet with the chef who helped us decide on our menu options. It was great having our wedding at a small boutique hotel, where our wedding was the only event going on that night. Our guests really enjoyed hanging out at the Polo Lounge Friday and Saturday night (great live music). We also had a wedding brunch at The Colony the day after the wedding, held on the Palm Terrace outside by the pool. Beautiful way to end the wedding weekend. Excellent food, Excellent setting, Excellent service, Excellent value!
