From the initial phone call, Georgetta was super thoughtful about our unique needs and really helped us through the planning process. We were able to have food from both of our cultures represented (Argentina / India) and the food was AMAZING. Our guests raved about how delicious everything was and how fantastic the service was. Georgetta was also incredibly helpful organizing our rentals, and was super flexible when I changed our vision (a couple of times!). We loved working with her and would highly recommend them to anyone for their event!!

We could not have been happier with our choice of caterers for our daughter's wedding. Classic Catering was amazing!!! From the first time I spoke with them on the phone, until the end of the wedding reception, things could not have gone better. Our representatives from Classic Catering were easy to work with and were great communicators. Emails, texts and phone calls were always responded to promptly. From the variety of choices for appetizers, entrees and desserts, to the adult and non-adult beverages, linens and tent rental, they were amazing. They worked with us every step of the way and the day of the wedding could not have been better. Our guests raved about the food and the service. Quite a few of the guests said the food was as good as the food you would get at a fine restaurant. The workers were discreet as they moved among the guests and could not have been nicer. I will definitely use Classic Catering again and recommend them highly. You will not be disappointed.

Our daughter was married on Sunday, May 26, 2024. We chose Classic Caterers because they were on the preferred vendor list and other friends highly recommended them. I can not say enough about how happy we were with their service, their food, and their professionalism. Really a class act! I can't tell you how many guests commented to me about how good the food was, and I totally agreed. We did a dual entree, which made serving go faster and was nice for people not to have to choose their meal - but be able to have 2 entrees on one plate. Of course, vegetarian and other food accomodations were no problem. Our coordinator was Mark Eisenhardt and he did a fantastic job making sure everything was planned and went off without a hitch, while keeping a very calm demeanor. I was also surprised that Gail Kaplan, one of the owners of CC, was onsite and very helpful. We had some glitches with asking for a few extra meals to be packed up to take back with the children who were not feeling well and needed to leave the reception, Gail just looked at me and said - "No problem, we've got this for you." I feel like other caterers would have given us a hard time, instead she just wanted me to feel supported and that they would make everything right for us.
The tasting was also a wonderful experience. There were a few things we wanted changed for the final menu - and, again, they delivered as promised.

My daughter and her fiancé chose Classic Catering People for their wedding at the George Peabody Library in Baltimore. Their initial meeting with Classic Catering was so positive, I asked Classic Catering to cater my daughter’s bridal shower as well. The process was seamless, the food was inventive and delicious, but my highest praise goes to the people. We were incredibly fortunate to have Liv as our contact person, and she was truly an absolute joy to work with. The two events could not have been more different – a small cocktail-style bridal shower for 22 and a black-tie formal sit-down dinner reception for 115. But Liv, Ruby and the staff of Classic Catering handled both events with the same professionalism, enthusiasm and genuine care. Each and every person we came in contact with treated us with such attentiveness and attention to detail. I would not hesitate to recommend Classic Catering!!

Lynn and her team at Classic Catering are amazing. We recently got married in 2/2024 at the Peabody Library and I do not have enough good things to say. I would book them again in a heart beat and have recommended them to all my Baltimore area friends. Their team was the single reason that our wedding was absolutely perfect, and as cliche as it is when I walked into the room for the reveal I could not believe how incredible everything looked. The entire wedding is still talking about the appetizers, signature drinks, and the food. When we did our table visits it was #cleanplateclub all around. Their team made sure every single detail turned out how it was supposed to and when we had a lot of mishaps with our day of planner Lynn and her team stepped in seamlessly to ensure nothing was missed. From the first tasting to the visit to pick out utensils to the many emails about changes to drinks apps head count etc etc etc I knew that I was in the best hands. The first vendor you should book as soon as you know your date is Classic Catering.

Working with The Classic Catering People for our wedding at the George Peabody Library was a pleasure. We did not know what to expect from or how to plan our wedding, but the team at Classic Catering were responsive and provided detailed proposals, cost break-downs, and comprehensive options, helping us make the right decisions. Liv shared her experience and ideas to guide us through the logistics of the wedding and the table and place settings that we would never have considered. The input and guidance through the planning process went above and beyond what we expected.

Leading up to and during our tasting, Liv and the team provided great initial ideas based on our food preferences and were open to our suggestions and feedback. We were especially impressed that even when we suggested more obscure recipes/drinks that were not in their normal menu, they were able to adapt and gave us the chance to provide feedback/modifications during the tasting. In the end, the food tasted amazing and the team was able to deliver a menu that covered diverse foods like Mexican street food, American, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisines without compromising on flavor and quality for each dish. During the wedding, Liv was also able to work with our planner, photographer, and other vendors to make sure we were able to join our cocktail hour, actually enjoy all of the food and drinks we wanted, and even take a few couple photos in the set-up stacks hall before the reception began.

We expected Classic Catering to handle the set-up and food service at the wedding, but we were especially grateful for Liv and the team's experience and ability to leave no stone unturned.

We had a fun time working with Mr. Bobby and his team. They were kind, helped us design a menu based on our backgrounds (my husband is from Louisiana and I'm from Baltimore) to help us merge our different port city flavors. They also helped us stay within our budget. He and his team went over and beyond. The food was delicious. We were assigned a team member that made sure my husband and I ate because too often the newly wed couples don't eat at their wedding. Our guest continue to talk about the food and excellent service. We highly recommend them.

We used Classic Catering for our wedding at the George Peabody Library. From our first call, through all of the planning and through seeing it come to life the day of the wedding, Classic Catering was amazing to work with. Larry took our first call and we knew we were in good hands – he was so kind and never pushy - he won us over almost instantly. We worked with Liv during the planning phase and she was also our onsite/wedding day contact. Liv is wonderful - efficient and knowledgeable and a joy to work with - she just gets it. You can tell she loves what she does. We had everything we asked for and more – we never heard the word no or sorry – Classic Catering is a true partner in planning. Our custom menu was perfect (the tasting was so much fun and such a huge help in finalizing our menu). The food was served at the exact time it was supposed to be served and was hot and SOO delicious and beautifully plated. The place settings were perfection and so elegant. We had rave reviews about the food (and the presentation) throughout the entire evening and afterwards. Everything came together SO seamlessly. The bartenders and servers were amazing, Ms. Pat especially! We had late night snacks which were set up with so much special personalization – it was so thoughtful! I would recommend Classic Catering to anyone in a heartbeat. They are truly the best – we could not have asked for more.
