The Carrs and Company team is great - from the talent of the photographers to the warmth and kindness of the owners. Grace (the point of contact/owner) is so great to work with - her communication and responsiveness is fantastic, and she was so kind in answering our (many, many) questions and even helped us to craft the perfect custom photography package to capture every precious moment of our big day. Kera (our photographer) is truly a self-proclaimed "mad genius" in terms of her creativity and photography art. We were more than happy to go along with some of her out of the box ideas and she was more than happy to oblige ours - the results were amazing! Our photographers also worked so well with our videographers from a different company and communicated and collaborated to get the best lighting and shots and stay out of each other’s way. You won't regret going with Carrs!

A year later and we’re still obsessed with our wedding pictures. They did a fantastic job capturing our day. The planning and prep was such a smooth process. Grace manages everything flawlessly. Alex did a great job making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We definitely splurged a bit on photography for our budget, and it was beyond worth the money!

When the wedding is over, the photographs are one of the things keeping the memory alive. I am so incredibly thankful that we went with the Carrs for our photography! Grace is amazing and so organized and easy to work with! Alex was our photographer and he is THE BEST. My husband hates getting his picture taken, but Alex made him feel comfortable and confident! I can't recommend the Carrs enough. They are extremely talented and I will cherish the the memories that these photos hold forever.

Our pictures couldn’t have turned out better! I have so many friends who have been disappointed with their wedding photos in the past and I know I can be picky about pictures of myself so I knew it was one of the most important services to consider for our wedding. Seriously, don’t skimp on this part! I looked around online for quite a while before finding the Carrs. In general, I highly recommend looking through some wedding galleries shot by the photographer you are booking and not just 5 example images on the company website. That made a big difference when I was looking around! When you look through the Carrs photo galleries, you can tell they take beautiful natural looking photos and you don’t see cheesy overly posed pictures or unflattering candid snapshots. Their editing style is also beautiful and classic.
I also loved that they aren’t a large business of 50 photographers where you don’t know who you will get (like some of my friends experienced). You book with a specific photographer and that’s who you work with for your wedding and engagement pictures (which lets you get to know them and get comfortable).
Our photographer was Kera and we loved her! Your photographer is around you most of the day so you want to feel relaxed with them and you definitely will with Kera.
One last thing I think you may want to know is that they take the time to meet with you a few weeks before the wedding to help you plan out the flow of the day and discuss any special moments you want them to know about and capture. You can just tell they are very thoughtful and trustworthy! I genuinely recommend working with this group!

The Carrs Photography were easily the best aspect of our wedding planning and wedding day process when it came to vendors. Michael met with us during our search for a wedding photographer, and we hit off immediately. He created a welcoming atmosphere where we were able to combine our goals as a couple for this experience with his company's expertise. Our Engagement Shoot really solidified our choice, as the experience was professional yet very relaxed, and when we got our pictures back, we knew that we had struck gold. The Carrs went above and beyond in planning our actual wedding day. Grace helped us to create a timeline of events and to breakdown ideal opportunities for photos that worked seamlessly with our schedule for the day. On the day of the wedding, our photographers were there early, ready to go, and captured every moment that we could ask for. They balanced all of the staged photos that we requested with tons of candid moments and new designed poses based on what our locations provided. During the actual wedding ceremony and reception, they were extremely respectful and caught many special moments without distracting from them - I called them 'Photo Ninjas' as a result of their ability to blend in despite always being present. After the day was done, we had no worries about our photos and within a short few weeks, our photos were ready to share. They were UNBELIEVABLE. Our biggest challenge was selecting which ones to share and put in our wedding album, which we are also working with the Carrs to create. Overall, if you want experienced photographers who not only know what they are doing, but also go above and beyond in making your day special and then capturing it in a gorgeous and creative way, The CARRS Photography is who you should work with.

Can't say enough positive things about our whole wedding experience with The Carrs. From our first initial meeting, we knew we had to have Michael photograph our wedding! Photography was one of the single most important aspects to us, and we wanted the best, and The Carrs are truly the best. They helped us through the entire wedding planning process, from figuring out that ever daunting day-of timeline to hosting fun little parties to help their Brides relax, to most importantly reminding us to choose Joy on our wedding day and enjoy every second. And that joy is reflected in our photos! They have a killer studio and awesome style, and we are lucky to consider Michael & Grace friends now. They have an amazing staff (The Carrs & Co.) that go above and beyond to make your experience the best ever. They are fast to respond, fun, funny, and add so many personal touches so it's not just some guy photographing your wedding, it's an experience. I attended a Bridal Relaxation Bootcamp and a Teas & Timeline event, and we had a reveal party at their studio with wine and we got to see all our photos for the first time with Michael. Michael even traveled to Columbus for our engagement session since that is where we got engaged, and he was so accommodating when we wanted photos with our dog Oliver for both the engagement & wedding photos. We left the wedding photo locations up to him and had beautiful garden shots at Wegerzyn Gardens and urban shots downtown Dayton. One of the most important things is to make sure your personalities get along with your photographer's since you will spend the WHOLE day together, and my husband and I couldn't be more pleased in our decision to go with The Carrs. Michael & Grace are a great team and helped make our engagement and wedding day special. Michael traveled to Columbus from Dayton for our engagement photos and really helped us create the images we wanted. On our wedding day he was calm and patient and we received a million compliments from our family and friends on his demeanor during bridal party and family photos. Choosing the Carrs Photography was by far the best choice we made for our wedding. You do not even need to think twice...HIRE MICHAEL AS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER. Everything from our engagement photos to the day of our wedding was beyond what I could have expected from a photographer. The day of the wedding he had so many great ideas for photographs and was so fun and energetic throughout the day. We couldn't wait to see how the photos turned out and let me tell you we were not disappointed. The photos were amazing and we got more compliments than I ever imagined. My husband and I live in Colorado but were having our wedding ceremony in Dayton. With our package, we received engagement pictures and wanted them taken out in Colorado. We thought this would be a huge issue and that we'd have to find another photographer for our engagement shoot out here. But it was no problem at all, we mentioned that we wanted to do our shoot in Colorado, and Michael flew out to take our engagement pictures here!!! Michael had us up taking pictures before the sunrise and the photos are absolutely priceless. We have received endless compliments on how incredibly beautiful the pictures are. Secondly, for our wedding, my husband and I can easily say that Michael was one of our best vendor choices. He showed up on time, did his job wonderfully, looked professional and NEVER once seemed rushed/stressed/worried. Every single person in our bridal party commented to us on how great he was and on how easy he made the whole day. Our guests kept coming up to us complimenting how our photographer seemed to take a picture of every moment without ever being in the way. We cannot say enough good things about The Carrs Photography and would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!

I really could not have asked for a better photographer for our day! From the first e-mail I sent him, he was willing to work with our budget and St. Louis location because I was just in love with his work. When people have seen our pictures they've said those are the best wedding pics they'd ever seen. My husband also loved that the day of he was so calm and helped us get away and have some quiet moments together in the midst of the craziness (those moments made for some great pics too!) No question he's one of the best!!
