The Brim is a rustic wedding venue located in Kansas City, Missouri. The owners and founders started with a dream and have created a space for weddings to remember. From spring 2020, this venue offers a rural setting with a beautiful wedding chapel for free wedding ceremonies and affordable receptions. With a variety of options to enhance your special day, you can enjoy this important chapter of your life together.

Facilities and Capacity

The Brim is situated within rolling hills and verdant fields, 16 blissful acres just minutes from both downtown Kansas City and Kansas City International Airport. Beginning in spring 2020, the Founder’s Square provides an outdoor ceremony space atop a hill for up to 150 guests. You can be wed surrounded by your loved ones, scenic views, and Missouri sunsets. Starting in June of 2021, the Brim Chapel offers a ceremony venue for up to 120 seated guests, and with garage doors opened it can host more covered seats outside. Starting June 15th, 2023, a new reception space will host receptions for guests of up to 150!

Services Offered

Wedding events that can be held at this farmland venue include elopements, free ceremonies, and affordable reception options. The team at this venue can assist you with the setup and cleanup of your wedding. All-inclusive packages can cover bar service, and rental of linens, sound system, arch, tables, and chairs. Upon request, staff can provide vendor referrals, wedding coordination, and free secular premarital classes. The peak season for this venue stretches from April through November.

Cuisine

Available bar and catering service include cake cutting and bartending. The staff can advise on caterers to provide your wedding cuisine and refreshments.

Other Services

In addition to wedding events, The Brim can also host other special events and celebrations. These include birthday parties, family reunions, anniversaries, corporate parties, and fundraising events. You can contact staff for details of how they can best assist you to bring your event to fruition.

Amazing Venue

We had a wonderful experience with The Brim for our cake and toast ceremony! The team was warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating. Their communication throughout the planning process was excellent, and they were kind and flexible when we needed to make a few changes along the way. Best. Venue. Ever!

From the moment we stepped foot into The Brim, we knew this was where we wanted to get married! It was a total gut feeling that encompassed both of us when we took a tour. One of the aspects that drew us to The Brim was their commitment to the marriage itself. It was incredibly special to exchange our vows in a place where your marriage is not just celebrated as a party, but as a lifelong commitment filled with love and purpose. What truly set The Brim apart was their exceptional team, particularly Kathy, our day-of coordinator. Kathy was an absolute lifesaver, ensuring every detail was flawlessly executed and going above and beyond to make sure our day was stress-free. Her constant presence and attention to detail made all the difference, and I'm not sure I could have navigated the day without her. Now that we’re a couple weeks after the wedding, we look back and truly just think of how thankful we were to have Kathy and her team. Throughout the entire day, we really did just feel surrounded by love and helpful support. I cannot speak highly enough of this venue and the dedicated team behind it!

Pure perfection!!

We can’t say enough good things about the Brim! It is absolutely gorgeous any time of year. They are so knowledgeable and accommodating and make your dreams a reality. You can tell weddings are marriages are their expertise! They anticipated and thought of details we wouldn’t have even thought about. My wedding planning went so incredibly smooth thanks to my coordinator provided by the Brim! We love how they pour into your marriage and the future plans they have for the property so you can continue to enjoy and relish your special place as you grow with your spouse. 10/10 recommended, we wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Amazing Venue

The Brim went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. The facilities are gorgeous, extremely reasonably priced, incredible open vendor policy, and owners/ staff were available every step of the way. I am so glad we made the decision to have our wedding here and I can not recommend this venue enough.

The perfect day!

I will try to keep this brief but I just have so many amazing things to say about The Brim! First off the venue is stunning! Pictures truly do not do it justice. Kelsie and Aaron make you feel like family and bend over backwards to make your wedding amazing and your marriage matter! Booking the day of coordination was the best decision I made! Kelsie and Jess set up everything and went above and beyond. I seriously had NO stress the day off and we got to sit back and enjoy our special day. I love this place so much but I love the team even more! On top of all that the price is pretty great too! You have nothing to lose. Book right now!! NOW!! Please :)

Amazing Venue and People

The venue itself is beautiful. We got married in the chapel and were able to use the new reception space. Everyone had a great time and mentioned how cool both buildings were. The staff was also amazing. Our coordinator was very on top of things and made it easy for us from our first meeting all the way through our wedding day. Also, very affordable, especially considering how nice the venue is.

Beautiful venue at a bargain price!

This venue was phenomenal! It felt very elegant! The ceremony chapel was mostly white, which let our flowers really pop out! They were super accommodating, and helped us have a phenomenal wedding at a price we could afford.

Best Day at The Brim!

My daughter got married 7/14/2023 at the Brim. Kelsie and Aaron are truly amazing. Super helpful, fast communication just an absolute joy to work with. Jess was on staff that night and was also amazing! Beautiful location. It stormed and we had to be inside with garage doors up and it was breathtaking. Sunsets to die for. It truly could not have been at a better place!

They were the Best !! If you can imagine your medium size wedding or even need help with imaging how you want it to look.

Helpful and Organized

If you are looking for a wedding venue look no further than the Brim! The booking process was super easy and quick along with choosing what we needed as far as arches, tables, table cloths, etc. The staff was super helpful and willing to go the extra mile as well. As a bride, it was so busy the day of that I didn't have time to eat or drink water but the staff was so helpful that they asked if I had drank anything and went to get me water when I needed it most. They helped make our day very easy and less stressful!
