Welcome to The Axtells: Wedding Photography. I'm Stephanie, the owner and lead photographer, and we are a team of professional wedding photographers dual-based in Washington and North Carolina for 2025 and 2026 weddings. Specializing in wedding photography, a la carte wedding videography services, engagement photography, bridal sessions, and reintroducing boudoir photography for 2025 in the Seattle area, we ensure that this part of your wedding journey is as easy as it is enjoyable.

It’s always hard doing an online review that I know will not even come close to encompassing how amazing, dedicated, talented, and perfect Stephanie was for our engagements, wedding day and beyond! She is so personable and assertive, keeping an eye on the clock at all times to get every single shot that I wanted, while making every moment fun. My bridesmaids were constantly telling me how great she was doing throughout the day and how they wanted her as their wedding photographer. My husband and I are still astonished at how good she is with directing poses for formals and with lighting. Our wedding photos are so insanely gorgeous and thanks to SAP we get to relive our best day ever with all these perfectly executed snap shots 🤍 we are especially thankful for all the fun reception dancing photos— seeing the joy on everyone’s face is something you can’t put a price on. We cannot thank you enough Stephanie!

Stephanie is the best!
We absolutely loved working with Stephanie! From the very beginning, she was so easy to communicate with; responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in understanding us as a couple. On our wedding day, everything felt completely seamless. She brought such a calm sense of ease that allowed us to truly be present with each other. It never felt like a production or a photoshoot; it felt like us. Because of that, we had the space to express our love naturally without ever feeling watched or rushed.
When we received our preview photos (incredibly fast — just three days later, and such an extensive gallery!), we were blown away. Every image instantly took us back to those moments, which speaks volumes about her talent and the power of her work. Beyond her artistry, she’s fun, enthusiastic, and so kind — the perfect energy to have around on such an important day. She made it unforgettable, and we’re endlessly grateful to have these photos to relive it all. I have recommended her to all my bride friends, and after meeting her on my day, one of my bridesmaids is booking her for her 2026 wedding!

The Best Decision!
I highly recommend booking The Axtells. Stephanie is amazing at what she does. We had her for our engagement shoot and wedding day. We were nervous going into our engagement shoot as we never had a professional photoshoot before. However, Stephanie immediately made us feel comfortable and it ended up being so much fun. She was great at directing us. Our wedding day went awesome. Stephanie was very on top of things and we were actually ahead of schedule which made the wedding day even more enjoyable. We were beyond happy with how are photos turned out! Can't say enough good things about our photo experience.
