We had our wedding on 9/1/24 at the Asbury Hotel. Asbury Park is the most special place to us, and as soon as we got engaged we knew we wanted to get married there. We first visited the Asbury in September 2022 and immediately knew this was where we were going to have our wedding. We weren’t even going to consider visiting another venue, and we could not be happier with our decision. There is truly no other venue like the Asbury.

We loved that we had full creative control over the space to execute our vision for the day, where we weren’t confined to some sort of traditional “package”. We were able to add personal and sentimental touches to everything seamlessly, and even the craziest of ideas were welcomed and encouraged. We’ve gotten many compliments from guests who said it was the most beautiful wedding they’d ever been to, and those compliments are a testament to the hard-working staff at the Asbury, and their seamless ability to work with us and our vendors.

When we originally booked our wedding, the date was for 9/14/24, but we reluctantly had to change it around a year out due to the Sea. Hear. Now. festival which was happening on the same date. This was a major stressor at first since dates are booked out so far in advance, but Gina was super accommodating and worked with us to switch our date to 9/1 as soon the date reopened due to another couple needing to reschedule their wedding. Initially, we didn’t want to have our wedding on a Sunday, to not compromise the benefits of a Saturday wedding, but Labor Day Sunday acts enough like a Saturday and we were thrilled that our guests were able to spend their holiday weekend in Asbury however they wanted to - whether to see live music, party, chill, drink, eat.

We kicked off our wedding weekend with an evening showing of Shrek 2 on the rooftop. We booked the pool area the night before for our welcome party, our ceremony on the rooftop, cocktail hour in the hall/pre-function room, and our reception in the hall/terrace. For the morning after, we added a station for breakfast sandwiches and drinks for our guests to either grab and go as they were checking out or sit with us in the cozy lobby conversation pits to debrief for a bit. My sister and I still talk about the egg sandwich almost too frequently. No idea why it was so good but it was. Everything was perfect, I could go on and on. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a single thing about our perfect weekend in the most perfect place in the world.

We HAVE to give an extra special shoutout to Teresa + Mia. The level of care and attention they give to each couple, while managing multiple weddings per weekend, plus events at the hotel during the week, is incredible. They handled everything for us as we approached the date. About three weeks out, we had our final details meeting, where Teresa sat with us for a few hours to guide us through EVERYTHING - she laid out our entire day-of schedule, gathered all vendor contact information, and walked us through the event spaces once more so we could get a better idea of how the party would flow through each of the spaces. She also made a note of our Swiftie status in our Banquet Event Order 🙂‍↔️

From that point forward, she and Mia handled all the vendor communication regarding logistics and day-of itineraries, which we were extremely grateful for. Mia was also especially helpful when it came to working with the seating chart program and making any adjustments to our banquet event order in real time. The morning of our wedding, we had an extremely large seating chart that required onsite setup, and Mia was running around to help us gather any last minute supplies, which was very appreciated. Teresa and Mia totally put us at ease and alleviated any our anxieties.

When we arrived back to our room after our wedding, Teresa + Mia had left us friendship bracelets to commemorate our date + 1989…. iykyk.
It honestly made the post-wedding feeling so bittersweet, because as sad as we were for it to be over, we felt like we left with new friends!!

TL;DR The Asbury is a special and unique venue, full of character, charm, music, and offers space to showcase your creativity. Planning a wedding is a full-time job, but the team at the Asbury is unmatched, and they really helped make it all less overwhelming.

We got married at The Asbury Hotel in August, and we have nothing but the best things to say about our experience. We both love spending time in Asbury, and the hotel's location is unbeatable. It truly embodies the vibrant energy of the city, and we were thrilled that our guests were able to experience that during our wedding weekend.

We first began working with Gina, who is amazing! She always went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and that our many questions were answered. When we brought my mother-in-law to Asbury for a visit, Gina graciously paused her work to give us another tour. She is so genuine and truly excited for the couples she works with, and I felt that in every interaction.

A few months before the wedding, we were introduced to Teresa and Mia, who are absolute pros at their jobs. When we met with them a month before to go over all the logistics, they came with a clear agenda (which I love), were completely up to date on all our plans (which I can imagine is not easy given how many weddings they manage), and guided us through decisions we were still making. They were also so cool and fun to chat with, and we left the meeting feeling more excited than ever and completely at ease knowing we had the best team in place. Afterwards, they sent us an outstanding to do list, which was a super helpful guide to make the last month less overwhelming.

And it proved true that we had the best team as our wedding day was flawless. Teresa and Mia were there every part of the day, coordinating everything seamlessly with our wedding planner and vendors and jumping in to provide support whenever needed. We were lucky to have a beautiful day, so we got married on the Baronet Rooftop. The setup was stunning, with all our guests having a view of the ocean. Afterward, as guests made their way to the cocktail hour, drinks were waiting for them when they exited the elevator. When it was time to move to the tent for dinner, the team raised the garage doors, and our guests were in awe—none of them knew where the dinner was going to be until that moment. These thoughtful touches made all the difference, and we received so many compliments on them.

We loved having a separate space for dinner and dancing, which kept the energy high and got everyone on the dance floor all night. We wanted the outdoor space to feel like a garden, with plenty of flowers and candles, while the indoor space to feel like a fun, lively bar—and both came to life exactly as we hoped. We didn’t want a traditional ballroom, and The Asbury’s set up was perfect for us. After the reception, our parents and their friends grabbed drinks in the lobby, while our friends went upstairs to dance at the Salvation Rooftop. The two venue options were great, offering something for everyone.

The Asbury is also an ideal space for photos! Even if the weather had been rainy, there are so many indoor backdrops that would have photographed beautifully. We ended up doing our first look in front of the ivy wall outside and we love the photos. We also used several of their recommended vendors, all of whom were fantastic, so we definitely suggest following their vendor guide.

It so easy to get wrapped up and nervous about the details, and we are incredibly grateful to the Asbury Hotel for all their hard work and for putting us at ease throughout the entire process. Our experience working with the whole team was wonderful and it made our wedding more special, fun, and happy than we could've dreamed of. We’ll always feel very lucky to have gotten married here!

We just had the most AMAZING wedding at the Asbury Hotel this past weekend. From beginning to end, the staff made sure we were taken care of and that our event went smoothly. Gina in the sales department made booking such an easy and enjoyable process, and made us feel welcome from the first time we walked through the door. Also, we wanted to give a special shoutout to our coordinators Teresa and Mia, who were so communicative and helpful throughout our final detailings, and kept us on schedule during our big day. Mia even doubled as a bridal attendant for us and took so much stress off our plates on what could have been a nerve-racking day — she is absolutely wonderful and fantastic at her job! The venue is stunning, full of character, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. Definitely have your wedding here!

Our experience working with the Asbury was absolutely amazing! We knew we wanted to have our wedding there right after we took the venue tour. The hotel has a funky alternative vibe but also gives you the ability to still have the traditional feel of a wedding if you want it. Our guests had a wonderful weekend staying there and said it truly felt like a destination wedding with everything going on at the hotel and having the boardwalk just steps away. Working with Gina throughout the entire planning process was awesome and Teresa and Mia made sure all of our events went smoothly during our actual wedding weekend. We had our welcome party out by the pool area (rented out the pool deck, highly recommend) and our ceremony on the rooftop. There were multiple spaces in the hotel available to have our wedding events which was great having so many options. We can’t thank the Asbury team enough for making our wedding experience perfect!

BEST DAY OF MY WIFE AND I'S LIFE!!! Our wedding at the Asbury Hotel was everything we dreamed of. It was truly an amazing experience for us, our family, and friends. All of the workers treated us the best way possible, especially our coordinator, Teresa. Teresa was a huge reason we ultimately decided on choosing the Asbury as our venue for our special day. She made my wife and I feel super confident and comfortable with our decision from day 1, it was truly the perfect wedding day for us thanks to Teresa and the Asbury. Teresa was so thoughtful and accommodating on our wedding day. One example was how she had blankets waiting for our grandparents to keep them warm for our wedding ceremony on the chilly roof top in November. The venue space was laid out perfectly as well. From the first look, roof top ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception, the Asbury Hotel had everything set perfect for our big day. We cannot thank the Asbury Hotel and Teresa enough for giving us the best day of our lives and an unforgettable/amazing wedding day for all who attended. My wife and I HIGHLY recommend the Asbury Hotel as a wedding day venue. We wouldn't change a thing about our special day and it is all thanks to the Asbury Hotel and Teresa.

I can’t say enough amazing things about the team at The Asbury Hotel. From the day we toured, to the day of our wedding, everything felt seamless. Teresa is such a pleasure to work with and knows how to get shit done. If you’re worried about the logistics of your day not going the way you envisioned, just don’t…Teresa & Co. have this machine well oiled. All my vendors were also so excited to be working their team again so they’re clearly doing something right. The location is great, so out of towners have plenty to do during their stay. You can bring in your own catering so you have more than one option. The venue itself has so many places (inside & outside) to get your day of photos bc of its cool aesthetic. It poured and FLOODED the day of our wedding and our photos are still 10/10 even though we had to do everything indoors. If you’re contemplating The Asbury for your big day, stop thinking and do it. You’ll be so mad if you don’t.

The Asbury Hotel is the perfect venue if you're looking for something modern with plenty of space to put your own touch on it. The Hotel is fun, edgy, and close to the boardwalk and downtown Asbury making it a great location for your guests. We got married at The Asbury in September during the tropical storm and everyone at The Asbury went above and beyond to make sure our day was special. They took care of everything and kept in constant communications to make sure any concerns we had with the storm were addressed. We felt stress-free throughout the entire weekend knowing our wedding was in good hands. Teresa and her staff were great to work with and she was fantastic in making our perfect wedding day happen especially given the weather conditions. Cannot recommend this venue enough!!

When looking for a venue, we wanted somewhere that was a mix of classic and funky, that let us add our own unique spin based on our personalities and that was located near points of interests for our out of town guests. The Asbury Hotel was the whole package for us, and we immediately fell in love with it. We also had a pleasant experience with the accommodating team throughout the planning process. It was the perfect spot for our ceremony and reception with conveniently close bars and restaurants near by where we hosted the rehearsal dinner and after party. We also utilized the Asbury Lanes, attached to the hotel, for our post-wedding brunch. Guest raved about the venue and were able to stay at the hotel or the nearby Berkeley. Even though it rained and we weren't able to have the ceremony on the rooftop, it was still beautiful and we wouldn't change a thing. I recommend this venue if you're looking to put your own personality into your big day vs. a standard catering hall since you need to bring vendors in, but the team was very helpful at providing a preferred list of vendors, plus working with our amazing planner made the day go seamlessly.

We had our wedding ceremony and sit down dinner reception at The Asbury Hotel in July 2023 and would highly recommend it for your big event! Everything was seamless--from our first visit, to our out of town planning, and ultimate execution. We were over the moon happy with everything. Our day-of hotel wedding coordinator Teresa was amazing--so thoughtful and professional and fun. We also had to pivot from the rooftop ceremony to a ceremony in the clear tent for the dinner and we couldn't have been happier. We didn't worry about anything and we had the BEST time and so did all of our guests. Nearly all of our guests were also from out of town and they all raved about the hotel itself! We loved our stay there too--and the big wedding suite was awesome. Don't hesitate to book The Asbury for your next big event!
