We had our wedding at the Art Room in May 2023. Kirsten was amazing to work with throughout the entire planning process. She is organized and personable and really willing to make any wedding dream a reality! We chose to do all of our catering through the PA Market which made the process so easy as it is affiliated with the Art Room. The Art Room is a beautiful venue and hardly needs any additional decoration - just let all the artwork and architecture shine! PA Market catering is delicious with so many great options. The bar packages are very flexible and our guests raved about the food and drinks. Cannot recommend this venue enough for a small-ish wedding. The dance floor is very intimate and made people feel comfortable busting a move which made for an awesome party. Hotels are very close by and guests said that the Strip was very easy to navigate. Great for a wedding with a lot of out of town guests to show them all the great parts of Pittsburgh. We love the Art Room!

Kirsten and the team at the Art Room are amazing. The venue was the perfect industrial vibe we were looking for in the city. Our guests loved the space and we were able to have both of our ceremony and reception there. Not a single detail was missed throughout the entire day. Planning was breeze and correspondence was always readily answered. We can't recommend this venue enough.

Where to even begin. We got engaged August 2019 and I knew from the start I wanted a modern/industrial themed wedding. At the time, Pittsburgh didn't have too many venues that fit my vibe. We found a place and then it fell threw so we scrambled to find something new. Ended up going with a museum that I didn't love and then March 2020 rolled around. Of course as the pandemic went on, we made the difficult decision to postpone our big celebration to November 2021. At that time, the venue we were at was offering a full refund due to Covid. I'm not kidding when I say the universe was on our side for finding the Art Room. Because of the ongoing uncertainty, we also decided to cut our guest list in half. With our new total, my event planner recommended stopping by the Art Room because it fit my vibe and now fit our guest count. Immediately after meeting Kirsten I knew this was the place I wanted to have our big celebration. It is THE coolest space in Pittsburgh. We kept it pretty simple because I loved the interior design and exposed brick. We got to use all our vendors, which I also loved! We had our rehearsal dinner at PA market... honestly, PA market and the Art Room staff become your family during this process. They are there for you every step of planning, they love you and they celebrate with you. I'm not kidding, I wish I could get married every year just to use this space and work with these amazing people. My advice to you - only invite your nearest and dearest and then book the Art Room. It's the best space in Pittsburgh with the BEST staff.

I had my wedding here in November 2021 and the experience working with Kirsten and The Art Room staff was excellent. We actually found this venue through our wedding planner. Before Covid-19 hit, we were displaced from our original venue on the North Side in the fall of 2019 and in a desperate scramble to find another venue to have our (originally scheduled) September 2020 wedding. We toured this space and immediately fell in love with everything about it that we booked right after we toured. It's a gorgeous industrial, modern vibe which is what we were going for. Almost every corner of this building is able to utilized which is great if you have a large guest count. They have bathrooms on both floors and the ability to have two bars, which is also helpful for a big count. When Covid-19 came in spring 2020, Kirsten was very responsive and in constant communication with us and our wedding planners. Just like most venues at that time, she was trying to help pivot and keep couples up to date with all information. Ultimately, we made the decision to postpone our wedding until November 2021. Kirsten helped keep our spirits up that in due time, we would have the wedding we envisioned and when we picked up back up with planning in spring 2021, she was right back with us. She makes the contract and all the details (chairs, spacing/seating, where bars should be, etc) very easy to understand and deal with. She was very helpful with picking our bar package for our reception too. The alcohol choices with the Art Room venue are the most impressive I've seen for a Pittsburgh wedding venue in a long time and their bartenders are excellent. We loved our signature cocktail. From rehearsal evening to the big day, this team was amazing. Kirsten worked with our planners to make sure all was taken care of and that our guests knew they could freely move around the venue. The servers took care of our guests during cocktail hour perfectly. We really didn't have to worry about organization and our vendors cause Kirsten and crew were on it all night. We even rented out the Wine Library at the PA Market (right down the street, they own this venue) and had our after party there. Kirsten made sure we were all set up with that and we highly recommend doing that if you have your wedding at the Art Room, so convenient and we were well taken care of at the PA Market too! This venue really can transform into a dream space for any wedding style. The Strip District has been revitalized and Smallman St., where the venue, is looks so great now too. And there is plenty of street parking and several public lots right near The Art Room, so no need to worry if you have guests driving to downtown. Our long awaited wedding day was really made perfect by the hard work of this venue staff. You need to book this hidden gem ASAP if your looking for a great Pittsburgh wedding venue.

Kirsten and her team were amazing to work with. She handled everything professionally and was very friendly! The day of everything was perfect! At the end of the day all I can say is WOW!
