My now husband Nick and I got married at Thalia in May 2019. I've planned and hosted a lot of events - from big 800 person fundraisers to small 20 person dinners. To say our wedding - and not just because it was our wedding! - was the best and easiest event I've ever hosted (and without a wedding planner) is an understatement. First of all, the staff is incredible. Jenna, David, Marc, Emma and the team were flexible, responsive, creative, and just...cool from day one. They were open to our ideas, shared some of theirs, were never dramatic, and were lots of fun (we hung out for hours after our tasting just to chat with them!). They were open to finding some great beers for us, and to designing the menu around some of our favorite things. They were professionals through and through and I cannot recommend them enough.

Secondly - the space. What can I say -- it's unique, special, historic, a little gritty, and the food is Michelin-starred. We kicked off the night on stage sharing the history of Thalia as a community center, theater, and more. We appreciate that the space has meaning and a history, and that only a handful of weddings are produced there a year. It felt truly special and we could not be happier.

We wish we could do it again just to have time back at Thalia, I highly highly highly recommend the venue for a wedding assuming you can book it given the limited availability (as they prioritize concerts and like to keep the space accessible for the community - which is awesome). THANK YOU to the team for making the night one for the books. Our guest will be talking about it for years.
