I purchased my wedding dress from BHLDN and at first went to one of the recommended tailors they suggested in Norwalk CT well that was a VERY expensive mistake...after two visits and 250.0 later I ended up leaving and brining my dress here...thank god I did. She did a truly wonderful job

Irene did a fantastic job with alterations on my wedding gown, all for an affordable price. The gown, as many wedding gowns are, was complicated with numerous layers of difficult fabric including lace. It was tailored to fit perfectly, hemming, taking in etc. all for $398. Compare that to prices further downstate or even in New York and you're looking at double the price. To alter my father's suit was a simple $14 fix. Irene is personable and has a great eye, as well as being very timely.

Finding Irene Rocha was one of the best things to happen during our wedding planning process. She provided 3 fittings for my wedding dress and my mom's dress. All tailoring was professional and everything fit perfectly. My wedding dress was fully beaded and no one would ever have known it was tailored. We are grateful to have found her and worked with her!

Irene Rocha tailoring did such a lovely job on my wedding dress. I needed minimal alterations and the train removed from my dress. I had 3 'fittings' each time done quickly and professionally. I don't think I spent more than 20 minutes inside the shop each time. Everything turned out beautifully. Very prompt service and very easy to schedule appointments. Would highly recommend for any type of altering.

Irene did such an amazing job altering my wedding dress! It needed to be taken in 3 times, and the last time being a week before the wedding. She was always kind, patient, and professional. My dress had lots of beading and the hem had many layers of organza ruffles, none of which were a challenge for Irene. Thank you for doing such wonderful work!

Irene did a wonderful job on my alterations. I bought my wedding dress when I was a street size 12/14 and by the time I had it altered I was a street size 4/6. I was very nervous that I had lost too much weight and that alterations would be impossible or would not allow me to maintain the original shape of the dress. Irene did a wonderful job and my alterations were perfect. I could not be happier and I was VERY impressed by her skills. I found her prices incredibly reasonable as well.

Long story short, I found out 2 1/2 WEEKS BEFORE my wedding that I didn't have a wedding dress!!! I had researched reputable tailors near my home in Danbury, CT and Irene came VERY highly recommended. I called her frantically and explained that Fontana's in Greenwich, CT never ordered my gown (I bought my original dress from them two years earlier!) and that I was driving to RK Bridal in NYC to find/buy a new one. Irene was SO helpful, professional, kind, and reassuring!!! She didn't even know me! She told me that RK Bridal was "the only!" place to go - and it was :) I got to RK Bridal at 1:00, left with a gown and veil at 2:00, and drove straight to Irene in Danbury!! She was AMAZING! She did my first fitting right then and there! When I came back a few days later, she was happy to do another round of minor alterations :) She seemed so sincerely invested in making me happy and obviously wanted my dress to be perfect. She finished all of the alterations in time for my wedding and it was truly the dress of my dreams! Many people would argue that finding out you don't have a wedding dress 2 1/2 weeks before your wedding is bad luck. Thanks to Irene, I know that everything happens for a reason! It was meant to be :) Irene is an INCREDIBLE tailor. She does beautiful work and you owe it to yourself to go see her! I'll never go anywhere else!

Irene does beautiful work and she is extremely affordable. She had no problem altering my very detailed gown and it looked perfect for the big day. She was very easy to work with, too. I highly recommend.
