Ted Mann is a talented solo vocalist and guitarist based in Peterborough, New Hampshire who serves the entire New England region. His specialty is singing and playing music for wedding-related events. Ted's decades of experience and passion for music will create an amazing ambiance and add a magical touch to your big day.

Experience
Ted Mann is an award-winning composer with more than 30 years of experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music, as well as a master's degree in arts and fine arts. Ted also teaches and writes music, and is part of the music faculty at Keene State College and Mount Wachusett Community College.

Services Offered
Ted Mann sings and plays music for wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and cocktail hours, and more. His musical style spans classical, popular, and modern arrangements to Latin American, Spanish, and Renaissance music, and more, and he is happy to learn new songs. Along with singing, Ted plays the guitar,as well as the lute.

My Wedding

We decided last minute that we wanted to have live music while I walked down the aisle. Ted was kind enough to play for us with such a short notice and did amazing. He even learned my husband and I’s favorite song for us in just a few weeks!

Amazing!!!!

We hired Ted for our wedding, with not a whole lot of time to learn the music we wanted him to play. But he got it perfect. Very professional and well prepared for any arrangement and situation. Worked well coordinating with our DJ as well. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a top tier guitar player for their event.

Ted is the Mann!

Ted played guitar for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and was exceptional. From the get-go, he was responsive, helpful, and professional. He performed a variety of classical and contemporary music from pre-ceremony, processional and recessional, and during cocktail hour. The music was incredible and made our day extra special, and Ted was a pleasure to work with!

Incredible Musician (& Person)!

Ted played for our 20-person outdoor ceremony and our cocktail reception in Maine in June of 2021. Planning a wedding in the first half of the year was challenging (to say the least), but Ted was so incredibly easy to work with: he listened to what we wanted, overcommunicated about every piece of the set, and he really kept me on track with the planning process!

Most importantly, Ted is an extremely talented and versatile artist. Our guests were totally blown away. He learned a few new pieces for the ceremony, and they were absolute perfection - he really made our day feel much more personalized and special. In my mind, there really isn't a better acoustic guitarist for your wedding or event. Thanks Ted!

Music to celebrate the wedding

Ted Mann played guitar for a wedding ceremony at our house. Because of Covid concerns, it was a small, private wedding at which I officiated. The groom was a musician, so we thought to provide music. It was especially effective after the ceremony and as a continuation of the celebration. Mr. Mann’s classical guitar tunes even inspired the bride and groom to dance, as he was able to play their favorite tune upon request. All the songs that he played matched the occasion and added to the festivities. I would recommend Mr. Mann to anyone wanting incidental music.

Wedding music

We met Ted at the Woodbound Inn last year. We have really enjoyed his music so when our son was getting married this year at the Woodbound, we asked Ted to play while guests were arriving along with music for the bride walking down the isle and the processional after. Everyone very much enjoyed his playing and music selection. I would highly recommend Ted for a wedding or any other venue with music. He was very accomodating, easy to work with and responded in a timely fashion when contacted. Ted will definitely enhance the beauty of your special day!

Ted played music before and during my ceremony! He made the planning process so easy and had some simple backup sound equipment for us in case we needed sound amplification for our beach wedding. I was so overwhelmed with getting everything else in order that I asked him to chose some pieces that he liked and it was perfect! Highly recommend.

Ted is an incredible musician! He played beautifully at our wedding and many of our guests mentioned how much they enjoyed his music specifically. Ted was also extremely helpful as we worked to put our entire ceremony together. Thank you Ted for making our ceremony so beautiful!

My wife and I hired Ted to play at our ceremony and cocktail hour on our wedding day (October 1st). We were very pleased with the professionalism and quality of service we received from Ted. We had requested several different types of songs to be played throughout the ceremony and cocktail hour and he performed them all beautifully. We received many compliments from our guests as to how wonderful the music sounded. Having Ted perform at our wedding was the perfect touch to our perfect day! Ted is very timely in his correspondence, a pleasure to work with and a wonderful person to have in your company. I would highly recommend Ted to perform at any function. Thanks Ted!

Ted was so relaxed and easy to work with! We chose some pretty lengthy and complicated pieces of music for three of my cousins to sing and he was so patient in dealing with all the nerves and craziness. We were able to relax and not worry too much about things knowing he had it covered.
