Suite Occasions is a musical group that specializes in performing for weddings. We have two 'home base' areas: one in greater Hartford, CT, and the other in greater Keene, New Hampshire. Each member of Suite Occasions is a professional player with experience in orchestras, concert chamber groups; many players are also teachers at music schools and for private lessons. Suite Occasions has more than 35 years of experience and provides an elegant and sophisticated ambiance for your big day.

Services Offered

This musical group offers a variety of arrangements, including instrumental solos, duos, and trios, as well as string trios, quartets, and quintets. They perform a wide varieties of styles, from classical background music to light popular music, and can also learn new songs if desired. Suite Occasions plays for wedding ceremonies, receptions, cocktail hours, and rehearsal dinners, with a range of instruments including:

Highly recommend!

Faith was fantastic to work with throughout this whole process. She was flexible with my busy work schedule in coordinating and was always super responsive and clear. She accommodated all of our requests and was extremely easy to work with!
Faith and her two other artists were fantastic. They played a wonderful variety of the genre we requested and they were a perfect addition to our day.
Faith, thank you so much again for all of your help.

Great music! Highly recommended

Suite Occasions was excellent. They provided classical music for our ceremony, and were great about working with us to play exactly what we wanted at the tempo we wanted. They also played pop covers during our cocktail hour. They were unobtrusive, easy work with, reasonably priced, and played beautifully. We’d highly recommend them.

Beautiful cellist

Faith at Suite Occasions was professional, responsible and thorough. I hired a single cellist through them after my original cellist backed out a few months before my wedding. I needed someone who would be able to blend with my pianist and cantor who had already had the music for our wedding for months. I would absolutely go back and hire an entire group through them. The pricing was absolutely reasonable and fair, straight forward contract and the music was beautiful! I was so lucky to find Faith and Amanda (our cellist!) and would highly recommend them to anyone

Elegant addition to our ceremony

Faith was very responsive from the outset. Even though we were out of state, she took time to contact us to go over ceremony ideas and musical choices. She gave helpful suggestions that guided not just the music of the ceremony, but the ceremony itself. We gave her a theme (seasons) and she was able to draw in musical suggestions related to that theme as well as popular and classical music from their repertoire. We also requested a song that is special to my family and Faith personally arranged a version that my parents and I walked in to. It was very special. We felt confident about Suite Occasions involvement in the ceremony. They were very professional and we received many compliments about their performance.

Suite occasions did a fantastic job at my sister's wedding as well as my wedding. They had a quartet at my sister's outdoor wedding, and I had a duo at my indoor wedding, and both sounded incredible. Having live music adds so much to a ceremony, and they were so helpful in making that moment at the altar so special. Faith was extremely helpful in making suggestions and being flexible- it really helped me out to have some guidance. They are top notch, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Suite Occasions made our son and daughter-in-law's wedding day very special. We received so many compliments from our guests who listened to the music while waiting for the processional to begin. The ceremony was held in the Meeting House at the Simsbury Historical Society so the music was extremely appropriate for the setting. Faith Miller was wonderful to work with communicating mostly through email. She was always prompt and professional with her responses. Suite Occasions made a rainy day seem sunny and bright.

Just couldn't have been any nicer! Faith responded to my inquiry quickly, sent me a sample CD (I still listen to it), stayed in touch throughout, made fabulous suggestions on pieces of music to choose. The day of the ceremony they assembled so quickly and quietly I didn't even realize they had arrived!! After the ceremony they transitioned into the cocktail reception and the guests were so impressed with the music, I'm still receiving compliments. I would highly recommend Suite Occasions for any event where you'd like to inject elegant, beautiful music. Many thanks to Faith and her magical musicians.
