THE BRIDE: We loved working with Tasha for our wedding in July 2016! She was great at communicating, sending us thoughtful emails quickly after any questions we asked.

She also had tremendous patience with this bride, who wanted to go old school (no “first look”) and didn’t want to be photographed while getting ready. It must have driven her crazy—especially when we had such large and complicated families to shoot, but she kept her sense of humor and went with it.

Best of all, we received a USB stick from her a few weeks after the wedding with over 400 great pictures. This was in spite of lighting situations that were probably photographer hell (outdoor wedding half in sun, half in shade, reception in a faintly-lit indoor space, etc.). With Tasha, we got an excellent photographer at a great price.

THE GROOM: She really worked with us to manage our expectations in what we could realistically get done in terms of photos with the time frame we had, as opposed to over-promising things and having a rushed day-of photo session.

I'm not a photography expert by any means, but I definitely appreciated the quality of the photos she provided. We got so many candid shots of guests in addition to the portrait and ceremony shots.

Its obviously a stressful job to do what she does, but on that day she was energetic and positive, being everywhere it seemed without being seen, in short everything you want from a wedding day photographer.

I immediately knew I wanted Tasha for our wedding after viewing her portfolio. She has this incredible skill of capturing not only a "pretty picture" but a feeling. Our wedding was very small and did not want "posed" wedding photos. We took a small stroll to the beach after our ceremony and everything was so natural. Tasha is professional, down to earth and incredibly talented. We were living on the East Coast at the time and she was very flexible. We were very pleased with our wedding photos and hope to have her in the future for our anniversary pictures!

Tasha is a childhood friend and was our obvious choice to have us photograph our wedding seven years ago. Considering that our wedding was her first to photograph, she did an excellent job capturing moments that we cherish looking back on and experiencing then. We are grateful for her friendship and passion!

Tasha was the photographer for my wedding in the summer of 2014. She was incredible to work with. She captured the entire day with beautiful images that bring me back to that day each time I look at them. The photographs show details I hardly had a chance to remember in the hustle and bustle of the day. She did a great job meeting with me before the wedding to find out what images and style were important to me. I wanted a few posed images but mostly candid images. She was very willing to do this and made note of any details I hoped to capture. She was so easy and fun to work with throughout the entire wedding I either didn't notice she was there or forgot she was not one of the wedding party members. She was very professional and the images were returned very quickly.

My husband and I didn't have a proper photographer when we got married, so Vanasse Studios photographed us for an engagement style shoot. When we first looked through our images we both cried, then laughed, then cried while laughing because they are so damn perfect. We think she captured our love for each other beautifully, in a way we haven't been able to see before. Needless to say, these images already mean the world to us! Tasha Vanasse is amazing x's one billion and we can't thank her enough!

Tasha and Drew were a dream come true. We felt like friends the first time we met. They brought a warm, personal touch to what can be a stressful process. They were responsive, prompt, and communicative from start to finish. We first met over coffee where they asked about our relationship and the vision for our wedding. It felt more like chatting with two friends than a business meeting, and that feeling continued through the end. We used the engagement shoot as a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera, and it was a great value. We got a half-day shoot around Seattle with multiple outfit changes. Tasha communicated with us up through the wedding, asking all the right questions that showed her experience and focus. On the wedding day, they were in all the right spots at the right times. We were able to depend on them to know what to do. They even came up with ideas for shots--including a pit stop at the Space Needle when we had extra time on the ride back. The pictures turned out beautifully and were a hit with everyone from the guests to the parents. And the final product, our photo album, showed Tasha's personal touch. We couldn't recommend Vanasse Studios more.

Tasha and Drew Vanasse are one of a kind. Tasha, who runs their portrait and event photography business is personable, patient, and feels like a good girlfriend at the wedding. Drew has an eye for artistic catch the moment shots that will be some of your favorite. Together they are really the best. They start their work by getting to know you and making sure that they are the best fit for you and you for them. The open communication, professionalism, and thoughtfulness continues throughout what ends up being the year process from starting to plan to getting your wedding album. Oh yeah that is right, many of their packages come with an included album that Tasha works with you to design. Amazing, highly recommended.

Tasha and Drew are FANTASTIC!!! All of our photos are gorgeous and they really take the extra step for their clients (they even hand delivered our final photo album!). In addition to being responsive, flexible, and professional, they are also a ton of fun. They made us relax and enjoy our engagement shoot - this says a lot for people who feel a little silly in front of a camera! I did not feel one moment of concern on my wedding day - they so clearly had the casual and formal pictures under control - and I was right not to worry; they captured every shot I could have asked for. We highly, highly recommend them to all of our friends and are still get misty-eyed (or giggly) looking at all of our lovely engagement and wedding photos!!

My husband and I can't say enough good things about our experience with Tasha and Drew at Vanasse Studios! From our first emails back and forth, meeting for drinks in town, the wedding day, and getting our final photos afterwards-- they've been a true pleasure to work with and get to know. It didn't really feel like business- we all became friends throughout the process.

They photographed our small wedding in Leavenworth, WA and provided us with everything we were looking for and more. I didn't really have a clear idea of how I wanted to do wedding photos, and my husband and I can be a bit shy in front of the camera, but Tasha has an amazing artistic eye and really helped us out. She and Drew even scouted around town to find the perfect locations for some photo sessions.
