Tara Koenke’s interest in photography began in high school and continues today. She attended South East Center of Photographic Studies and earned her A.S. degree in photographic technology and B.S. degree in photography. As a an event planner, finding a photographer who is not only professional and easy to work with, but also talented at capturing all the love + details, is an extremely important task. Tara’s work is absolutely unreal. She is funny, detail oriented, and patient. She takes great care to ensure she gets to know her clients on a personal level. She takes on the day with ease and makes sure her couples never feel rushed.
Working with her not only for an engagement session and a wedding day, Tara made it clear from the very first interaction that she was going to go above and beyond any and all asks. If you come across her and your date is not booked already, take the opportunity quickly to book. You will not be disappointed. She is quick to respond to formal communication and extremely fast with her photo editing process. Wedding Photographer turned life long Photographer
I started following Tara's work around 2014. I knew whenever I got married I would want her to be my photographer, she was as you could say "the chosen one". As soon as I got engaged (literally the day of in 2019) I messaged her and wanted to book her first before anything else for my wedding because I knew if I had her shooting my wedding everything else would fall into place and be just perfect. My wedding pictures literally turned out to look like they belonged in a magazine. The photos she was able to capture reflected exactly how the day went and how I felt and what emotions everyone was feeling was captured, the energy, the love, the laughter can all be felt when looking at my wedding photos and that's thanks to her. Since this I've booked her for my maternity session and family session and an upcoming session for my daughters first birthday. If you chose to hire Tara you will not be disappointed, the quality and helpfulness of her going above and beyond is worth any price in my opinion.

Absolute Rockstar
Tara is a literal angel. My husband and I are not photogenic people but Tara somehow made us us look and feel like actual models! Her eye is FANTASTIC and she captures the best moments

Absolutely the BEST
Tara was absolutely amazing! She is fun, patient, skilled, and down for any challenge and temperature! Even during my crazy moments with dealing with everyone she was so helpful! Finding a photographer that we were comfortable with was so important to us, we are both awkward but Tara made it seem like we knew what we were doing and belonged in front of the camera. She made sure every shot I wanted was done, controlled the families during pictures. We haven’t gotten our pictures back but I have no doubt that she blew every expectation we had out of the water. I cannot wait to see our sneak peeks!

I am so glad we chose Tara for our wedding. She is so sweet and so skilled. Her work is beautiful and she really listens to her couples. She is always on time and very responsive. Definitely recommend her!

Best photographer ever
Tara is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but also so kind and patient - which is what ever bride needs! Tara was always available beforehand for questions about the timeline and suggested places to get the best shot. She's so creative and will tell you exactly what to do and how to pose. My photos came out AMAZING. I received a large sneak peak just a week after my wedding and the remainder a month following. When your photos are ready, Tara sends a super easy link where you have access to save, download and print all of them! I could not be more happy with Tara and her work. She captured so many memories that I will cherish forever.

Beyond happy!
Absolutely could not recommend Tara enough! I will forever be using her for any photography needs I have in the future. She not only was delightful to work with, but took the time to truly care what my husband and I wanted. Tara was always quick to respond with whatever questions I had or impulsive photo idea I had brewed up! 5 stars across the board!!

She has Amazing style, she’s an awesome photographer & person!
Tara is who I originally sought out for our wedding but she was booked on our date, she gave me a few good other photographers to check out since she wasn’t available! But then our date opened up, and she messaged me immediately! I can express how much I was in love with her photography & style before we met her, then you meet her and she’s so sweet and nice and makes you feel so comfortable. She was also so nice and helpful through our wedding and made sure to get us in different shots and places so we utilized our whole venue! She’s Definitely worth it! Pictures mean a lot to me and this girl cares about her clients and her work! You won’t be disappointed!!

Amazing photographer
Tara is completely amazing ! I was traveling from MA to FL for my destination wedding I could not say good enough things about her I never met her before and she was so personable and friendly. She went above and beyond with our wedding photos. She’s willing to do anything you want and need this girl is a perfectionist and won’t stop still she gets the best shots. She makes you feel so comfortable it’s not like a normal photographer she’s more of a friend to you on your special day

Engagement photos
JUST WOW. I had been following Tara and her work for years so when they time came to pick a photographer for myself there were no other options. She responded immediately and was super professional. Unfortunately COVID19 came into all of our lives making things a bit trickier but when I say this woman MOVES MOUNTAINS for her clients it’s an understatement. She was so flexible and it was so important to her that we were taken care of. Day of came and she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and safe with all the COVID19 craziness. (It felt 5000 degrees and this woman wore a mask outside bless her heart) Some of my favorite shots were her directing my fiancé simply to just make me laugh while she NAILED the angles and finding the correct light. Our pictures are flawless & they are such a great representation of us. But, what you don’t see is any sweat, raccoon eyes, or nipple pasties because she saw every single thing😂 we have so many photos and she edited them and got it back to us in a user friendly gallery so quick. Honestly just hands down wow. If you’re looking for a photographer just stop looking and pick Tara.
