Based out of Chicago, Illinois, Tanase Photography is a husband and wife wedding photography team that is passionate about capturing Beautiful, Candid, and Timeless images you’ll treasure forever. We are based in the Chicago-land area but love to travel for love and reach all sorts of people with unique backgrounds!
In our photos, we strive to tell a story. Your love story. Your love is magical and your photos should reflect that. Your photos should be a direct reflection of your relationship~ timeless, emotional, and authentic. Guided by these values, we aim to capture the genuine emotion you share with loved ones on your wedding day, so you can relive these moments for years to come.
Services Offered
We will begin with a one-on-one consultation, to get a better idea of your vision and preferred style. We can work in many styles, including photojournalistic, contemporary, natural, and vintage. Besides ceremonies and receptions, we offer engagement, portraitures, and trash-the-dress sessions. Final high-resolution images will be given to you as digital files, with other options including curated albums, matted prints, and a flush mount.

Jony and Liliy are some of the most talented photographers we’ve ever met. Not only were they professional, but they had positive attitudes, were kind, and were passionate about capturing our day authentically. Before the night was out, they had already edited around 20 photos.
They were eager to share them with us and wanted to know how we felt about their artistic vision for our day. They went above and beyond, and we are blown away with the results. We love that they’re a husband and wife team. Their chemistry is undeniable and it truly made a difference in the service they provided. Not only that, but it was Jony’s birthday. It really doesn’t get better than that!

Absolutely amazing!!
Liliy and Jony were an absolute pleasure to work with! They made us super comfortable even though neither of us love getting our pictures taken. Our photos turned out AMAZING!! They captured every detail we asked for and then some. They were also super responsive and offered us advice/guidance throughout the wedding planning process. Couldn’t have asked for a better photography team!

They were an absolute perfect fit. Extremely nice to work with and the pictures were spectacular. They even provided us a sample collection of edited photos just a few days after the wedding! Their faith background also made for such a joyful experience.

Amazing Experience and Photos
Jonathan and Liliy went above and beyond to capture beautiful engagement photos. Despite the freezing weather on the day of our shoot, they both went out of their way to be sure we had a great experience. The pictures exceeded my expectations and were returned within a week. I am excited to work with them again on our wedding day!

We hired Tanase Photography to do outdoor photos of our family.
Tanase photography was a great fit for our family. The last time We had family photos taken of us was 4 years ago. I met Jony and Lily through our old employer and they had offered to take new family photos of us. They are the kindest people I have ever met, they are professional, they are both very talented. I am so thankful for our new phots.

Literally a Fairytale!
If I could give Jony and his wife Lily 100+ stars I would. They really helped the day go smoothly and they captured literally every moment. Even my bridal party members told me days later how much they loved their energy and enthusiasm. They were very understanding of our timeline, our important shots we wanted, our VISION. They made everything we pictured come to life in these photos. They are definitely naturals. Could not have made a better decision on photography and videography. I recommend them to EVERYONE!
