We are Take 2, a versatile and musically experienced duo that can cover a wide variety of musical styles and selections. We offer our clients the opportunity to choose to hire Take 2 as either our classical flute/acoustic guitar duo or our saxophone/flute and jazz guitar duo.

Take 2 as classical flute/acoustic guitar duo:

Take 2 specializes in performing music for wedding ceremonies as well as receptions, dinners, corporate events and private parties. Take 2 performs acoustically for small intimate settings or carefully amplified for outdoor ceremonies or when appropriate for larger rooms. We are a portable, versatile and affordable duo that can cover a wide variety of musical styles and selections.

Take 2 as a saxophone/flute and jazz guitar duo:

We are available to perform for your wedding cocktail hour. We perform light jazz, ballads, standards and contemporary selections during your special event. Our goal is to create a pleasant ambience that is elegant and artistic yet unique and memorable. Take 2 is also available for receptions, dinners, corporate events and private parties. We also have an extensive repertoire of popular holiday music that is tasteful and appropriate if you are hosting an event and would like to add a seasonal quality.

Take 2 as a combination of both classical and jazz styles:

If your event lends itself toward diverse musical genres, choose an eclectic blend of both classical and jazz styles. Take 2 can provide a sound of majesty and beauty for church or other religious services, grace and elegance for garden ceremonies and other outdoor functions or contemporary and traditional jazz standards for cocktail hour. Take 2 is Rhode Island based but is happy to travel to Massachusetts or Connecticut for your special event. Longer distances are booked based on availability.

Take 2 as a clarinet/flute and guitar duo:

​We have a collection of 200 Jewish Songs (Klezmer, Israeli, Yiddish, Sephardic, Holiday and Hassidic) that we can draw from if you are planning a Jewish Wedding, bar/bat mitzvahs, reception or event. This collection of music we most commonly perform with the combination of clarinet and acoustic guitar.
