Tad's photography started as a hobby in 1969 and is now a business today. The award winning photographer learned his craft in the field and through formal education at Mt. Hood Community College in Portland, OR, Adobe Photoshop Seminars and private portraiture classes with Master photographer Robert Weygand in Kona, HI. In 1999, Tad Kapa Humble Photography started as a sideline business based in Portland, OR, with connections in Kona, HI. In 2001 Tad retired from his full time job as a musician and moved Tad Kapa Humble Photography to the west side of the Big island of Hawaii in Kona. Experienced in Real Estate, Product, Event, Wedding, Portraiture and photo journalism photography having spent some time working for the local newspaper in Kona, HI. Today he is one of the most popular wedding photographers in Kona, HI, where many decorate their homes with his Hawaiian sunset landscapes and flora.
