I found Sydney on Instagram, looking for a local photographer with a vibey aesthetic. We met at Cardiff State Beach for our engagements, and I have to say, it was the most relaxed, fun, loving experience I've ever had taking photos. We felt like we'd known her for years, and were just a bunch of friends, drinking beers on the beach. The photos turned out amazing, and set the mood for our wedding website and invites.

I'd see her around town meeting up with other clients, and her infectious, genuine personality made it all too obvious we needed to fly her out to shoot our wedding in Cabo. She had a range of packages for destination weddings, which made it really easy to figure out what fit our budget. We even added a film session to capture our legal elopement here in San Diego. In hindsight, I wish I flew more local vendors down to Cabo, it's just nice to know the quality of the vendor you're working with before the big day.

On the wedding day, Sydney had already scouted a few locations around the hotel, so we got the most of out of our time taking photos before the wedding. She also did an AMAZING job working with a videographer we hired down in Cabo. They never worked together before, but naturally fed off of each other's creativity, painting the day just how we remember it: a romantic dream.

Sydney sent all of our photos in a very timely manner (even amidst her own wedding planning), and I couldn't be more obsessed with them. Truly the most cherished investment in our wedding.

Sydney was such an absolute light our entire wedding weekend! From the first conversation we had over the phone, I knew we were in the absolute best hands. She made us feel SO comfortable, and meshed perfectly with our family, guests, and vendor team. Working with her was one of the favorite parts of our weekend. We hated saying goodbye to her!

Our photos are absolutely perfect and exactly what we always imagined. We cannot imagine our weekend without her!!!

Sydney is incredibly talented. I fell in love with her work and booked 1.5 years in advance to ensure my wedding photos would be exactly what I wanted. She exceeded every expectation.

I told Sydney on a call a few months before the wedding that having candid photos of my mother was really important. My mother has a brain injury and it’s difficult to get a “typical” posed photo. The day of the wedding, not only Sydney, but her second photographer as well, searched for moments to catch my mother in a happy candid moment. The results are breathtaking and brought tears to my eyes.

Sydney treats you like family, loves your guests as her own friends and produces your photos with all of her talent - there’s simply no one better.

Sydney is nothing short of the BEST. I was lucky enough to have Syd photograph my engagement, which then quickly turned to my wedding photographer. Some would call her, "the dream" - and being in the wedding industry myself, there aren't enough great things to say. Everything from the spirit, energy, and friendship, to the talent, attention to detail, and execution of a wedding day is everything that she embodies. Now getting to call her a friend, I couldn't recommend her enough. If I had to choose again, I would have her (and Laura) on my wedding day and for all life events every single time. Sydney's work always leaves me speechless, jaw-dropped, and my heart feeling so happy it could explode. I honestly still get shocked when I look through the photos she shot of my wedding, making my husband and I look like such cool, hip couple. "I'm like, THAT'S US?!" Truly so thankful to have found Sydney to shoot our most special day and to now have her in our lives. Not only does she have such a creative and magic eye for capturing the best candid moments, she is such a beautiful person inside and out. I've never been professionally photographed before finding Sydney and I was actually so nervous in doing an engagement shoot with her when the time came. I was worried if any awkwardness would show in the photos because of how anxious I was. But when the day came, Sydney seriously makes you feel so comfortable with your significant other and with herself, it's like we've known her for forever! She is so encouraging and has such an artistic eye, I love it when she suggests certain poses that I do with my husband, because those turn out to be my FAVORITE shots out of the bunch. I don't know how, but she somehow captures the most special moments that you don't realize the day of, but it's something you can treasure forever. I can't wait for the day to reach out to Sydney again for whatever future milestone photoshoots we would need her for (hopefully she's available! haha), because I love working with her. Her style is truly the best that gives off so much warmth, timelessness, and pure happiness. I HIGHLY recommend anyone reading this to hire Sydney to shoot any of your special moments. You won't ever, ever regret it.

I cannot recommend Sydney enough! First off, she is the absolute sweetest and most easy going person to work with. She made our day so fun and easy, we didn’t need to stress about getting certain photos or micromanaging her because she was so on top of everything. The pictures were INCREDIBLE! Not only did she capture the important moments, but the style she shoots creates art that we can hang in our house and it doesn’t look like a basic wedding photo. We loved her so much, we asked her to shoot our maternity photos as well. I didn’t think she could create photos I loved more than my wedding, but she did. Sydney was everything we could have hoped for and more. My husband and I are both shy in front of a camera, but she made us feel so incredibly comfortable and confident during our elopement. Not only that, but we just had a great time with Sydney. She’s so great at what she does and helped us make the most memorable, incredible day. Where to begin with the photos themselves.. I’ve never been one to really like pictures of myself, but she made me feel so beautiful! Sydney was everything we could’ve hoped for and I look forward to more shoots with her in the future. :)

Let me start by saying, Sydney is one of those rare unicorns who turns everything to gold and I will forever be grateful for her capturing our wedding day. Hiring Sydney as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made in the planning process! Sydney is a dream! Punctual, creative, High quality, easy to feel comfortable around, flexible and all the good things. We booked her to shoot our wedding in May, but COVID hit and things were in the air. We ended up having a minimony with immediate family only and Sydney was extremely understanding and flexible and still able and willing to capture our very special and intimate micro wedding. She seriously hit the nail on the head with the vibe we wanted for our wedding photos and again she makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. That’s such a great thing if your other half is a little more introverted. She can get along with anyone and everyone and even our micro wedding guests loved her company! My now husband and I can not recommend her enough and are still drooling over our engagement and micro wedding photos she captured. She’s so great at bringing out emotion in every image.
