After tasting the cake at Fishermen’s, the couple knew it would be delicious—but the artistry truly stood out. Marlene was incredibly thoughtful, exchanging ideas and photos to capture exactly what my daughter had envisioned. She delivered the cake herself and carefully arranged every detail on-site. The result was both beautiful and memorable. Highly recommend to any couple looking for a personal touch and exceptional quality.

The cake we ordered was by far the most delicious we tried in the area. It was light, flavorful, and offered a wide variety of options to choose from. The tasting experience itself was enjoyable and helped us confidently make our selection.

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! The cookies were also amazing! Marlene was very attentive and replied to emails quickly. We got to do an in-person cake tasting, which was so fun too.

I cannot recommend Sweet Temptations enough! We chose this bakery for our wedding cake, and it was an excellent choice. Marlene is wonderful to work with. Our tasting was easy, fun, and, of course, delicious. For the day of the wedding, I didn't have any worries as she took care of everything. It's been 1.5 months since our wedding, and we are STILL receiving compliments from our guests on how much they loved our cake. The cake flavors and fillings are all exceptionally tasty, and the frosting is out of this world! To top it off, I found the price extremely reasonable.

The guests at my wedding absolutely loved the desserts made by Marlene and her team at Sweet Temptation in Yorkville, IL. I first heard about Sweet Temptations Dessert Co. from a coworker who had used them for her wedding, and since we live near the bakery, we decided to look into them! We arranged a tasting with Marlene (the owner and baker), who is so unbelievably sweet and accommodating, and we fell IN LOVE with her cakes! We wanted cupcakes instead of a traditional cake, and Marlene really helped bring my vision to life! We selected three flavors of cupcakes for ours guests, and had a 10" cake to cut on our own. We have received TONS of compliments on the cupcakes - they were so elegant, delicious, and not a single one was leftover at the end of the reception! :) The pricing is exceptional as well, and Marlene really works with to make sure you get what you want while being conscious of budget. If you are looking for a bakery with a friendly feel and home-baked taste, look no further!
