My wedding dress needed a LOT of work to turn it into the dress of my dreams. I ended up having to purchase a floor model, which was four sizes too big and torn in several places, as it was the only one left and the manufacturer no longer made that particular dress. The dress was all lace, and in a pretty uncommon pattern, which presented more than a few obstacles. Susan not only took it in four sizes, she totally transformed it into the dress that existed in my mind...only better, which included adding a collar and opening / redesigning the back entirely. The end result was absolutely stunning and even surpassed what I had envisioned thanks to all the tiny special details including a slew of silk buttons that she repurposed down the back.
