Jennifer at Sugar on Top made our wedding cake in October 2022 and she was amazing to work with! The whole process was so painless and it was super easy to collaborate with her on flavors and design. The cake turned out better than we could've hoped for and was so delicious! I had multiple people reach out afterwards wanting the details of who made it. On top of that, her sweets and treats at her bakery in Genoa are wonderful and we stop by whenever we can! I highly recommend getting your cake or wedding sweets from Sugar on Top!

As someone with extensive food allergies, I had basically given up on finding a wedding cake and was about to go the non traditional route. Then we found Sugar on Top at our venue’s open house they saved the day! I can’t have eggs or gluten and they made a cake that not only accommodated those allergies, but made it taste like a ‘normal’ cake. I almost didn’t believe it was something I could eat, it was so good! I can’t explain how grateful I am that this team was able to make a stunning cake that was also the best tasting cake I’ve ever had.

Sugar on Top Bakeshop was the best! She sent us a beautiful sketch of our wedding cake while in the planning process, she worked with another local baker to get us macarons for our cake, made a beautiful sweets table, and our cake was picture-perfect! Everything was so delicious and guests were raving about everything. We highly recommend! Also very reasonable priced!

Our cake was as delicious as it was beautiful - we literally had guests raving about how good it was! And she was wonderful to work with, extremely creative and professional, and made our mid-Covid remote cake tasting super fun for us and our kids. Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I eloped in 2021. We never had a wedding cake for our wedding so decided for our 1 year anniversary to get a small cake for the 2 of us. Jen had made a cake for a friend of ours who got married in 2021, and it was so gorgeous.. so I reached out to her to make ours, and I was treated just as special as someone ordering an extravagant wedding cake. We got 3 samples to taste and decided on an almond cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. I was so excited to finally (a year later) get the wedding cake of my dreams. It was so cute and it was absolutely delicious!

Jennifer was by far one of the easiest vendors to work with for my wedding. My desire for my wedding cake was something small and simple but what I really wanted to focus on was having a dessert table. Instead of fancy desserts or donuts etc I wanted an old school dessert table of brownies and cookies and cheesecakes which was actually hard to find, but then I found Jen! Her sweets are absolutely delicious and homey and wonderful. Her brownies are still my favorite to this day. Her prices are reasonable and she is so helpful and easy to talk to. It felt like working with a friend. I drove almost an hour to meet with her and it was well worth it. Her brownies are still my favorite and my guests LOVED the dessert table and still talk about her cheesecakes. And to top it off Jennifer does beautiful work on her wedding cakes. Mine was gorgeous, she has such an eye for design and style. No doubt work with Sugar on Top, you seriously can't go wrong.

Our cake was stunning and everything we asked for was incorporated perfectly in great detail.

Jen was so easy to work with. She made our vision come to life with a four tier cake and sweets table. The cake was perfection, and it tasted even better! All the guests were raving about the butter pecan cake and cream cheese frosting. She even worked with another baker to get us macarons for the cake! I can tell she really cares about each couple she works with. I just wish we lived closer so we could order more cakes from her! She is very reasonably priced as well.

Working with Jennifer was amazing! From the moment we reached out, to cake tasting, to changing our wedding date 3 times. She was amazing through it all! Her cake, frosting, and filling flavors are to die for. We ended up doing a very small ceremony in May of 2020 which she was so nice to provide a cake for us. Flash forward to May 2021 and she did the most beautiful cake for us! We also had sugar cookies in the shape of tractors and people could not get enough of them. I highly recommend using Jennifer for your big day.
