I was introduced to Sugar & Brew by chance by the DJ we hired. Looking around at various bakeries in San Diego, I couldn't BELIEVE how much other places were charging for the simple wedding cake we wanted. I think I was quoted almost $800 at one place. Sugar & Brew gave the highest quality of product for an equally fair price and was a legit God-send.

I contacted Leslie on Facebook and her response time was speedy and she was super easy to talk to. She was attentive to creating the wedding cake my husband and I were looking for when I couldn't really explain myself except through photos I found online. We ended up getting a 3-tiered cake with every layer being different flavors and it turned out so amazing!!! The guests LOVED the cake and there was barely any left. My husband and I had to grab our slice to save for our 1 year anniversary before there wasn't any left. The different flavors Sugar & Brew offer were all so enticing that it was so hard to narrow it down to just one, and almost just as hard to narrow it down to three.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, 10/10 WILL ORDER AGAIN FOR ANY AND EVERY OCCASION!!!!

Stay away from the vendor. The business owner strongly lacks communication and organization skills.

I am not the type of person to bring businesses down as I should had wrote a review a year ago, but today is our one year wedding anniversary and I am furious. The “complimentary cake” that is apart of your wedding package is total BS. I contacted Sugar and Brew a couple months ago and she was happy to do our cake and we were to touch base a couple weeks before. I had to reach out to her and she said we would figure out a pick up time the day before our anniversary. Since the day before our anniversary, the owner has completely ghosted me. Today is our anniversary now and we are sitting here without a cake. It is completely rude and disappointing. We would have happily purchased a cake elsewhere if we knew this was a game to the owner. It is really upsetting and too late to get a cake anywhere else.
By the way, a year ago for our wedding she messed it up which also shows how she lacks communication & organization skills. We changed our order, quantity and flavors. Our wedding day came and the number of cupcakes was incorrect and she only did two flavors when we ordered three.

Again, save the frustration and stay away from this vendor
