I don’t even know where to begin with how amazing Ashley and her team are at Style Me PDX. I had a less than stellar experience with my first hire and decided to find a new hair and make up artist less than a month before my wedding. Don’t need to get into the details about that, but it was stressful to say the least. Ashley knew this and did everything within her power to make sure I had an amazing experience from start to finish. Ashley is easy to talk to, communicative, upfront, kind, and damn good at what she does. You can tell she has a passion for hair and make up and truly cares about her brides and their tribe. I’ve never looked or felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day! Truly a work of art. Don’t @ me because I know this is cringe lol, but my makeup was not only flawless all day and night for the wedding (didn’t even need the touch up kit), but it looked just as good then next day. As someone with oily skin, this is no easy feat and is worth a standing ovation. Even wore the lashes out the next night! 😂 Ashley and Phoebe filled the day with good vibes and I am so incredibly grateful to both of them for making my wedding day so memorable. HAMU is an investment but it is worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and hire Style Me PDX for your big day. You’ll look and feel like a million bucks and maybe even make a friend in the process! Ashley and her team made the day of so smooth. Leading up to the wedding Ashley was incredibly detailed in her approach. Finding out exactly what I wanted and helped the vision become reality during our hair and make up test. The level of communication I received from Ashley was above any expectations I had. I knew if I had any questions or needed to alter any services she would be getting back to me, usually within the hour.

I LOVED working with Style Me PDX for my wedding day. Ashley was amazing to work with, open to changing what I was looking for, and adapting when needed. My hair and makeup held up fantastically through the whole day, and through nearly 100-degree weather. Ashley and her team are kind and understanding. Ashley Berglund with Style Me PDX totally killed it for our wedding on April 12, 2025! I was a legit ball of nerves as the bride, but Ashley’s positive energy and happy vibe calmed me down right away—she’s like that friend you just click with! The hair and makeup trial was stunning and I had the opportunity to give her feedback for any tweaks/changes for the big day. She took all my feedback, involved me in the changes, and elevated my HMU to become my dream wedding look that lasted throughout the day and night. She expertly kept our timeline on track, a huge job with my group of 7 bridesmaids and 2 moms. Her talented team—Karina, Emily, and Jennifer—helped my girls create personalized and gorgeous looks that had everyone glowing. They all maintained a fun, uplifting vibe while sticking to the schedule. I can’t recommend Style Me PDX enough for any event; their creativity, skill, and care are unmatched. I had a great experience with Style Me PDX! Ashley and her assistant, Sarah, did an incredible job on myself, moms, and my bridesmaids. Ashley is incredibly organized, and I loved that she had all of us fill out surveys with our hair types and desired styles in advance. She and Sarah were able to style 11 women from 7am to 2pm, working nonstop! Everyone felt beautiful with exactly the style they requested that suited their hair type and length. The styles stayed in place all wedding day and night, even looking good the next day. I highly recommend Ashley and Style Me PDX!

From the moment I met Ashley at my trial, I knew we were kindred spirits. Not only is she the ultimate professional, but she is bubbly, funny, and truly makes you feel as though you're old friends!

She kept in touch with me every step of the way leading up to my wedding day, even texting me a few days before to ensure that I made it to the destination safe and sound and to check in on how I was feeling. She arrived on site early and made my mother, sister-in-law and myself all feel (and look) like princesses!

Her artistry skills are second to none! She is a true master in her trade from makeup to hair and she is a whirlpool of knowledge. I started with a vision in my head and she made it into an even better reality, for which I will forever be so grateful!

She was hands down one of the best parts of my big day and I would choose her over and over again!

Ashley and her team were amazing to help get myself and bridesmaid get glammed up on my wedding day. Multiple of the girls were loving their hair and makeup and kept looking at themselves in the mirror and taking lots of pictures!

Ashley goes above and beyond for her customers from answering questions throughout the trial process to connecting me to a spray tan artist to the actual wedding day, she really goes above and beyond to make brides look and feel good on their special day!

Ashley and Krysta were one of my favorite vendors during our wedding planning experience. They made it stress free and helped me look beautiful on my special day! They offer affordable prices for great work. Krysta was able to get me and my bridesmaids ready within a timely manner before taking photos and the ceremony. Thank you Ashley and Style me PDX!

There are just some things that you don't DIY for your wedding and your hair and makeup you should definitely leave to the professionals. I don't care how good you are at doing your own hair or your own makeup for going out or even if you are a professional yourself, this is your wedding day and you have a few hundred other things to worry about, you do not need to be worrying about making yourself look amazing, trust someone else to do that. Trust someone whose literally only there to make you look perfect for your wedding day!

Probably the best money I spent for the whole wedding. Ashley showed up bright and early, got set up and got to work on my bridesmaid first thing in the morning. She was as friendly and chill as always and kept us all calm and relaxed while we were hanging out waiting to get made up, no matter what craziness was going on around us and trust me, it was. Ashley kept things light and relaxed and moving towards ceremony time. She told me she would be my most stress free vendor and she definitely delivered. Not to mention I looked the best I've ever looked, she did an amazing job on my hair and makeup and my curls lasted until the next day which is practically a miracle in itself. I've only seen a sneak peak of the photos so far but they look amazing.

If you're struggling to rationalize the price of hiring a hair and makeup artist, I get that, because I almost didnt hire one, but I'm glad I did because it took so much stress off me on the wedding day and my photos look so much better with the professional makeup.

Ashley is phenomenal and I highly recommend her.
