I don’t even know where to begin with how amazing Ashley and her team are at Style Me PDX. I had a less than stellar experience with my first hire and decided to find a new hair and make up artist less than a month before my wedding. Don’t need to get into the details about that, but it was stressful to say the least. Ashley knew this and did everything within her power to make sure I had an amazing experience from start to finish. Ashley is easy to talk to, communicative, upfront, kind, and damn good at what she does. You can tell she has a passion for hair and make up and truly cares about her brides and their tribe. I’ve never looked or felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day! Truly a work of art. Don’t @ me because I know this is cringe lol, but my makeup was not only flawless all day and night for the wedding (didn’t even need the touch up kit), but it looked just as good then next day. As someone with oily skin, this is no easy feat and is worth a standing ovation. Even wore the lashes out the next night! 😂 Ashley and Phoebe filled the day with good vibes and I am so incredibly grateful to both of them for making my wedding day so memorable. HAMU is an investment but it is worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and hire Style Me PDX for your big day. You’ll look and feel like a million bucks and maybe even make a friend in the process! So I've known Ashley for almost 2 years now. I originally approached her to do my hair and makeup for my wedding but then our friendship grew and I came to her for multiple services. I go to Ashley for my waxing, lash extensions, hair coloring, and she was my bridal hair and makeup stylist. With every service she has done for me it's been perfection. She goes above and beyond for all her clients. Everytime I have a appointment with Ashley I know it will turn out amazing. Whether you are looking for a makeup/hair stylist for your wedding or just want to get other services done, I highly recommend Ashley. I can't thank Ashley enough for all her hard work and how beautiful I looked on my wedding day. From this experience I've gained a new friend and I always look forward to my appointments with her ☺️. -

After pushing our wedding back TWICE due to the pandemic, my fiancé and I decided to elope last minute. I contacted Ashley, and she made time for me and was willing to travel! She was more than accommodating! She provided waxing, hair, and makeup services. Very convenient all-in-one! She was fun, professional, and clearly has had a lot of experience with weddings. She made me feel comfortable and beautiful. She was able to create the exact look I was going for, and more! I look forward to continuing doing business with Ashley! -

ASHLEY IS AMAZING!! I originally had a few HMUAs on my list to interview, but after interviewing Ashley, the amazing owner of Style Me PDX, I tossed that list away! I was so impressed with how thorough she was in the interview, that I hardly had any questions to ask. She had this fantastic PowerPoint that showcased her extensive education, her incredible skills, her knowledge of health and safety protocols, all the while acting as if we were already best friends. Without a doubt, I am so glad to have hired her to be part of our wedding team. The months leading up to the big day, Ashley became an amazing friend and was able to help make my hair beautiful with a few additional color appointments. At the trial, she worked with me to get the look I was hoping to achieve, and I am so grateful for the suggestions she made.
The day of, Ashley arrived early and immediately got to work. There were 5 of us who needed some sort of combination of hair and makeup, and Ashley worked effortlessly to accomplish everything we had asked for. She was talkative the entire time, hyped me up when nerves were getting the best of me, and my nephew adored her knowledge of Pokémon cards. Ashley is the best friend you never knew you needed, and now that our wedding is over, I’m keeping her as my hair stylist for as long as I can! Thank you Ashley for being everything I needed and so much more!

Ashley, Phoebe, and Krista were my stylists on my wedding day and I couldn't have asked for a better team. Everything ran smoothly in terms of timing and the looks my bridesmaids and I were going for, especially for my mom. My mom was hesitant getting her hair and makeup done but I wanted her to be a part of the fun! Not only did Ashley and her stylists make my mom look radiant, they enhanced her natural beauty. My mom was most nervous about not looking like herself and Ashley and her team took so much care into her look that my mom looked exactly how she wanted to, making her feel so special and making me so happy on my wedding day. Not only were Ashley and her team members talented, but they were all so very kind! Each of them pulled me aside as they were leaving to say goodbye and made sure they had done everything in their power to make me happy on my big day! I spent the majority of my day getting ready with these ladies and it could not have gone better! I felt beautiful the whole night and I cannot wait to see my pictures when they come back because I know my hair and makeup were flawless because of them. Thank you ladies! -

She also made my mother and sister look amazing mind you my mom has very thin hair and she did a gorgeous up do that my mom had her heart set on! I had a great experience with Style Me PDX! Ashley and her assistant, Sarah, did an incredible job on myself, moms, and my bridesmaids. Ashley is incredibly organized, and I loved that she had all of us fill out surveys with our hair types and desired styles in advance. She and Sarah were able to style 11 women from 7am to 2pm, working nonstop! Everyone felt beautiful with exactly the style they requested that suited their hair type and length. The styles stayed in place all wedding day and night, even looking good the next day. I highly recommend Ashley and Style Me PDX! -

Words do not describe how much we adore and appreciate Style Me PDX. The owner Ashely is an amazing person inside and out. She made my special day perfect… from the hair, makeup, fun conversations, and endless dance parties, it was the most amazing day ever. Being that I’m a wedding stylist, details matter and are super important to me. I am very picky and it is very important for me to look my best. Ashley is amazing. Amazing bridal and bridesmaids hair
Ashley was amazing! When we did our trial I wasn’t happy with the hairstyle I chose, but after contacting Ashley about it she quickly reassured me that we can get the look I want and sent me some photos/ videos with what I was looking for. On the day of, she did AMAZING! My hair lasted all day and I got compliments on it all night. She also did an awesome job on my bridesmaids hair too. I would highly recommend her! -

Founder, Ashley, single-handedly styled hair for myself and my 5 bridesmaids, finishing before my “finish time”, allowing her to be able to provide last minute touch ups. I was so happy with how my hair turned out! She even practiced diligently to master a type of braid that isn’t commonly requested for my bridal hair. Would highly recommend! -

LOVED my wedding look!
You can tell Ashley has years of experience in the wedding industry. From the very first time meeting with her, she made me feel comfortable and heard about how I wanted to look and feel on my wedding day. She nailed the wedding day trial and we only had to make a few small adjustments the day of. She also gave me valuable skin care tips to make sure my skin would be ready for the makeup since my skin was super dry from the winter weather. My mom and mother in law also got their makeup and hair done and they loved their looks. Ashley and I even talked them into doing eyelashes and they looked fabulous! Overall, couldn’t recommend Ashley more. She’s super friendly, talented and willing to go above and beyond to make you feel special and beautiful on your big day. -

Style Me PDX’s Ashley and assistant Krysta did an incredible job with hair and make-up for 7 of us for the big day! I’ve never felt so beautiful in my life and had a somewhat unique hairstyle request which Ashley knocked out of the park; multiple family and friends have commented how fabulous my HMU was after seeing the photos! Style Me PDX was so sweet with our 3-year-old flower girl and made her feel like a princess, and all the girls/moms looked and felt amazing! Ashley did my waxing in the week leading up to the wedding and I was obsessed with the results (she also has a great studio for the HMU trial & waxing), she’s prompt with communications/responses, and I never felt out of the loop on anything — she explains things from the contract to her make-up process clearly. Our wedding day had every challenge thrown at us, first with COVID, then the really bad fires where we had to adjust plans the day before and hope not to get evacuated, then another vendor backing out the morning of — it was such a relief that I could trust Ashley and know she was 1,000% there for me, both emotionally and professionally. Highly recommend her for your wedding day, I can guarantee she will ALWAYS put her brides first and work her artistic magic no. matter. what. -

Amazing makeup artist and hair stylist 😍
Ashley is a very talented makeup artist and hair stylist. I had makeup and hair with Ashley on pre wedding portrait session. She made me very beautiful. I got a lot of compliments when I uploaded pictures on Facebook. Makeup is very good quality and also hair style was amazing . Both lasted whole day running around indoor and outdoor photo sessions even on very heavily raining day on that day, without feeling oily around my T zone which usually problem for me. Eyelashes added extra beauty. Ashley has secret magic how to put eyelashes effortlessly and beautifully. I love her job and Highly recommend Ashley. -

I cannot recommend Ashley and her team enough! They are highly talented, very professional, and just overall fun, pleasant people that I had a blast getting ready with on my wedding day. Seriously, they are fun to be around, which is so important when it's your wedding day, you're all kinds of anxious, and you're spending hours in a chair getting ready!
My wedding theme was Halloween, so I needed a super glam hair and makeup style for me and my bridal party worthy of a Hallowedding. Ashley completed nailed it- my look was exactly what I dreamt of, including hair extensions, glitter and full-on glam makeup. I looked and felt gorgeous, and my pictures look amazing. I also had one bridesmaid who wanted a much more natural look, and they nailed that as well.
I worried a lot about the details of my wedding, and everything coming together day-of, but the one thing I wasn't worried about was my hair and makeup. Ashley is amazing, responsive, and very professional. If you just talk to her once you will realize that she's so passionate for her job, and cares so much for her brides. On the day of, she let me know when she was on the way, arrived early, and got me and my bridal party done before schedule.
Ashley was so kind to me during my trial as well. She came in outside of her normal hours when our schedules didn't match up. She was so graceful about completely changing my hairstyle when I realized the hair that I thought I wanted didn't actually work for me.
I feel so lucky that I picked Ashley and Style Me PDX to be my wedding hair and makeup team! Ashley knows her craft so well, and made me look and feel beautiful. If you are looking for wedding hair and makeup, I highly recommend Style Me PDX! -

From the moment I met Ashley at my trial, I knew we were kindred spirits. Not only is she the ultimate professional, but she is bubbly, funny, and truly makes you feel as though you're old friends!
She kept in touch with me every step of the way leading up to my wedding day, even texting me a few days before to ensure that I made it to the destination safe and sound and to check in on how I was feeling. She arrived on site early and made my mother, sister-in-law and myself all feel (and look) like princesses!
Her artistry skills are second to none! She is a true master in her trade from makeup to hair and she is a whirlpool of knowledge. I started with a vision in my head and she made it into an even better reality, for which I will forever be so grateful!
She was hands down one of the best parts of my big day and I would choose her over and over again! -

We Loved Our Looks!
I hired Ashley for my hair and makeup on my wedding day and I am so glad I did! Ashley really takes her time to perfect everything she does. I felt beautiful on my wedding day and so did all my bridesmaids. Krysta was also amazing and did all my bridesmaid's hair perfectly! They completed all our looks on time, even after I switched my makeup from my trial look to something else. Ashley and Krista were so incredible!
My husband and I both ended up getting covid 2 days prior to our wedding and StyleMePDX was so attentive to my needs with rescheduling at the last minute. Ashley is so great at reaching out to follow up with questions or concerns. I am so not a person who wears make-up routinely but she was able to provide me with what I thought was bold look and make me feel 1000%.
Krista was so fast and her attention to details was incredible. She was able to take some simple photos and turn them into reality for my bridesmaids. They all looked fabulous!
I will always be recommending this team for all hair and make-up needs! -

Her and her team are so professional, and do a great job of listening to what the client wants. Krysta did my hair and makeup and it literally looked like the picture I showed her. She also did all of my bridesmaids hair, as well as mothers/grandmothers hair which turned out perfect. Phoebe did all of the makeup and my girls were raving about how sweet she is and how great their makeup looked that day. All I can say is AMAZING. Ashley was my stylist and not only is she highly skilled she was so friendly and personable! She made this experience for me a truly wonderful one. Her trial run was very informative and she really took the time to get to know me and what I wanted for my wedding day. She is REAL and won’t stray you. She also styled my bridesmaids and the little girls. What impressed me the most was how prepared she is! She really did her homework by getting very detailed info on each gal upfront so she was completely ready and fast on wedding day. My wedding was on the windy Oregon coast and she traveled to us, and was very affordable. She took all the factors into consideration and my held up very well!!! We even did pre-ceremony pics at cape perpetua in some crazy wind! I can’t say enough nice things about this gal! I would definitely hire her again, and I highly recommend her to anyone! -

Ashley Berglund with Style Me PDX totally killed it for our wedding on April 12, 2025! I was a legit ball of nerves as the bride, but Ashley’s positive energy and happy vibe calmed me down right away—she’s like that friend you just click with! The hair and makeup trial was stunning and I had the opportunity to give her feedback for any tweaks/changes for the big day. She took all my feedback, involved me in the changes, and elevated my HMU to become my dream wedding look that lasted throughout the day and night. She expertly kept our timeline on track, a huge job with my group of 7 bridesmaids and 2 moms. Her talented team—Karina, Emily, and Jennifer—helped my girls create personalized and gorgeous looks that had everyone glowing. They all maintained a fun, uplifting vibe while sticking to the schedule. I can’t recommend Style Me PDX enough for any event; their creativity, skill, and care are unmatched. Ashley and her team were amazing to help get myself and bridesmaid get glammed up on my wedding day. Multiple of the girls were loving their hair and makeup and kept looking at themselves in the mirror and taking lots of pictures!
Ashley goes above and beyond for her customers from answering questions throughout the trial process to connecting me to a spray tan artist to the actual wedding day, she really goes above and beyond to make brides look and feel good on their special day! -

There are just some things that you don't DIY for your wedding and your hair and makeup you should definitely leave to the professionals. I don't care how good you are at doing your own hair or your own makeup for going out or even if you are a professional yourself, this is your wedding day and you have a few hundred other things to worry about, you do not need to be worrying about making yourself look amazing, trust someone else to do that. Trust someone whose literally only there to make you look perfect for your wedding day!
Probably the best money I spent for the whole wedding. Ashley showed up bright and early, got set up and got to work on my bridesmaid first thing in the morning. She was as friendly and chill as always and kept us all calm and relaxed while we were hanging out waiting to get made up, no matter what craziness was going on around us and trust me, it was. Ashley kept things light and relaxed and moving towards ceremony time. She told me she would be my most stress free vendor and she definitely delivered. Not to mention I looked the best I've ever looked, she did an amazing job on my hair and makeup and my curls lasted until the next day which is practically a miracle in itself. I've only seen a sneak peak of the photos so far but they look amazing.
If you're struggling to rationalize the price of hiring a hair and makeup artist, I get that, because I almost didnt hire one, but I'm glad I did because it took so much stress off me on the wedding day and my photos look so much better with the professional makeup.
Ashley is phenomenal and I highly recommend her. -

Ashley is so sweet and so amazing with hair and makeup! I have very thin hair and she worked with me to find the best hair style for my wedding day! She also worked with me to find the best eye makeup for my eyes and I am absolutely amazed at her skills!
From the first time we met, all the way to the wedding day, she was so amazing to work with and always had the confidence that she would make me look beautiful the day of my wedding and she did! It was perfect! Her team also made my bridesmaids look amazing! Would 100% recommend! -

Amazing makeup artist
Ashley did a fantastic job of making me look amazing on my wedding day. I shopped around and one of the things that I really appreciated about her was that she included a trial run in her price, everyone else that was extra. I couldn't imagine not doing a trial run before your wedding, but I also didn't want to pay an additional $250 for it like many others were charging. She did both my hair and makeup and I would absolutely recommend her to anybody that needs a professional to make them look even more beautiful on whatever special day they are planning. My husband and I got married at Arcadia Beach on 5/30/19. I’m from Texas, and we were doing a destination wedding, so all of my research for vendors was done online and I was very nervous, especially about finding a stylist. I didn’t have time to have a physical trial run, coming in from out of state. Ashley was great and had several Skype calls with me to discuss my vision and style. Even with the limited time we had, she was so flexible. I sent her some pictures and videos for reference and she obviously studied them closely. When we were actually getting ready, she was entirely open to my suggestions but also guided me with her professionalism. Plus her kit/tools were so impressive! She has an entire studio on wheels! She made me and my bridesmaid feel beautiful and comfortable. And the pricing was entirely fair, considering how far she had to journey to be there for us. I couldn’t recommend them more highly! -

Ashley did a wonderful job on my bridal hair and makeup! When I started wedding planning, I was a little hesitant to have someone else do my hair and makeup. But I'm so glad I did! Ashley was able to achieve a look that would have been a struggle for me to attempt. I have a lot of long hair. But Ashley knew what to do to make it look effortlessly amazing. I'm so happy that I went with a professional; I knew I'd be photo-ready and that my look wouldn't fade as the day went on. I loved working with Ashley and Krysta they are the sweetest people you’ll meet, and not to mention the best hype women. They are very reasonable on the price you are wanting to spend and they have your best interest at heart. For someone who doesn’t wear much make up at all, they made the most beautiful natural look on me. I would totally recommend them team to future brides! -
