It was such a pleasure to work with Kara Hess! I chose Kara as the MUA for my wedding after seeing the beautiful and natural work that she does. As a bride that does not wear makeup, ever, it was really important for me to look and feel myself. I wanted my features to be enhanced without truly altering my appearance, and most importantly, did not want to feel cakey. Kara nailed it! I loved the way I looked and felt all day long. My bridal party and the mothers also raved about her style and service. I highly recommend working with Kara for your wedding too!

I cannot thank Kate and her team enough for the amount of compassion and flexibility when it came to our originally scheduled 4/4/20 wedding. Rescheduling for July and then finally celebrating in October, Kate was able to accommodate every time! First off, Kate and her team's work is beautiful. I'm not a fan of heavy makeup and what I got was far from a heavy look! My look was completely natural, but elevated! The airbrush and mink lashes are a must! I would say the same for all the ladies that got their makeup and hair done. Second, Kate and her team are fun! I honestly felt like they were part of our crew! I was so impressed with Studio 8 that when I'm in town, I plan to visit for non bridal services :)

Kate and her staff were absolutely amazing!! I loved my hair and makeup so much and could not have asked for it to be any better! Kate worked with me to make sure all 7 of my bridesmaids, and 3 mother getting their hair and makeup would be done in time to not mess up our timeline. Our photographer was amazed when she finished perfectly on time! I HIGHLY recommend Studio 8 for your wedding hair and makeup!

Kate and Jane did our hair and makeup for my wedding and I cannot say enough good things about both of them! Not only do they do some amazingly creative hairstyles and beautiful makeup, but they are both so fun to hang out when getting ready! Kate and her mom worked with me for my wedding hair/makeup and that of my 5 bridesmaids. I cannot say enough good things about the two of them. It immediately felt like we were hanging out with old friends. Their relaxed, comforting style was the best possible atmosphere I could have wished for on my wedding day. Kate did my hair and makeup and is an absolute genius at what she does. I had so many compliments on my hair all night and my makeup was so freaking flawless -- even standing up to the incredible humidity and 90+ degree weather during our outdoor August wedding. I was so paranoid that my face was dripping off but everyone assured me that I looked perfect!!! What a miracle!! THANK YOU SO MUCH KATE!!! I love you guys!!! :)

Katie and Jane are the best duo!! I have been a client of theirs for over 3 years now and they have turned into great friends! They recently styled me and my bridal party for my wedding in October. They exceeded every expectation that I had and made me feel comfortable the entire morning. They are so fun to be around and will go out of their way to make you happy and feeling beautiful. Katie even ran out right before my first look to double check my hair and makeup before getting photos taken!

These two ladies are so friendly and easy to talk to. They did all of the makeup and hair for the women in the bridal party at my son's wedding. We all looked beautiful! The airbrush makeup is the way to go! It was unusually hot on the day of the wedding, but our makeup and hairstyles stayed gorgeous despite the sweating!! Kate and Jane did hair and make up for my wedding day. They were able to accommodate myself, my girls, the MOB and the MOG, and the flower girls. Kate did an absolutely amazing job on my hair and make up. I got my make up air brushed because my wedding day was very hot and humid and all outside. After a night full of dancing, my makeup and hair looked just as good as when I walked down the isle....many guests told me this. Jane did an awesome job applying make up to all my girls....we all felt so beautiful! Thanks Kate and Jane!

I was part of a bridal party and Kate and Jan did the hair and makeup for all of us. Everything was so perfectly done. They were so much fun to work with and sere more than happy to do touch ups after we had to take pictures out in the sticky 110 degree heat and humidity! Lol. Loved them and would recommend them to anybody.
