Here is what I emailed Jon the day after our wedding: Jon! We just took a moment from the whirlwind of the weekend and wanted to take a moment to say thank you to you and the entire band! You guys absolutely crushed it. We had so many people tell us, both during the wedding and after, that the band was absolutely amazing and the best wedding band they'd ever seen, You understood our vibe and ran with it - from the Fireball moment to the Jonas Brothers song when you let my cousin take the mic, which by the way, I think made her entire day. I think I missed this but you also played "Better Together" by Jack Johnson which is the wedding song for Tim's best man Mike and his wife, whose 1 year anniversary it was, which was so perfect. And playing "Sunflower" when I got back from changing into my second dress was also really meaningful and gave us an impromptu "second first dance". Not sure if you caught it during the ceremony but the "Into the Spiderverse" movie features this song and that was the movie we watched with our friends the first night we met. So very special to us!

We are so so happy with how everything went. We are exhausted from dancing but in the best way. Even Tim's 94 year old grandma said, "I've been to a LOT of weddings, but yours was the best." THANK YOU!!!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better live band for our wedding. From the very first song, they brought an incredible energy that kept the dance floor full all night long. Their range of music was truly exceptional and every song felt perfectly timed for the flow of the evening.

So many of our friends and family commented on how amazing the band was. They didn’t just provide music; they created an unforgettable atmosphere and were a huge part of what made our wedding so special. We couldn’t recommend them more highly!!

My husband and I chose Sterling Band for our November 2024 Orthodox Jewish Wedding. They perfectly executed Israeli music with contemporary/modern songs. Jon was so flexible to work with as we formulated a spreadsheet of songs to our liking. Overall, they did not disappoint! We still get compliments a month later of how lively and fun our wedding was. Our hoorah will go down in history!! Thank you for making our wedding so memorable for us and our guests.

Sterling Band was terrific! We knew we wanted a long and energetic hora and the band fully delivered and brought everyone onto the dance floor. Jon was wonderful to work with, patiently walking us through all of the details to ensure that our wedding day ran smoothly. They have an extensive repertoire of American standards, rock, pop, etc - both current and older - as well as Jewish and Hebrew music, and they also accommodated our requested songs for the procession, two of which were new to them. If you are doing a lot of Hebrew songs with lyrics (like we did), Jon has a good list of simcha singers that he knows and has played with, that you can hire for lead vocals for Hebrew. We chose Cantor Chaim Berson, who was also fantastic for us, and he and the band worked together seamlessly. Jon and the band were great and we received so many compliments on the music and performances. Highly recommend!

From the initial e-mail to the last dance - working with Sterling was amazing! Jon is engaged with you throughout the process, ensuring the entertainment is exactly what you want. So many of our guests are still raving about how great the band was and how much fun they had. We couldn't have asked for more!

Sterling was great to work with- Jon was very responsive to our requests, and did a great job with different genres of music. They were definitely more comfortable with American and English-language music than with Hebrew music (of which we requested a lot), but they did a good job across the board and were a pleasure to work with.

Absolutely top notch musicians at an unbelievable price. Jon and his team are exceptional artists. My guests were constantly complimenting how amazing the wedding was due to the music.

They are a very flexible band and able to learn new songs. Their singing and musical instruments are extremely high level and professional. They sound like professional singers who have 20+ years of experience. My guests have very high standards, especially given NYC, and Sterling Events surpassed all of them.

Would highly recommend for weddings and corporate events, and will be hiring Jon and the crew again next time. Well done.
