Was ecstatic to have Stephanie plan my wedding. She was highly recommended by my venue and its not hard to see why. She was on it from the start and kept me on track the entire way. She never hesitated to pick up my calls even when I was calling her during odd hours of the night. When I had issues with my vendors, she handled it almost immediately. On my wedding day, she was a life saver. My wedding would not have been the same without her. Highly recommended!

I work as an Event Planner/Fundraiser professionally for a university. Because of this, I thought that I didn’t need a Wedding Planner to help me with my August wedding. When I found out my venue required one, I choose Stephanie because I knew she’d had experience with wedding/event planning.

I’m so glad I did!

My wedding was smaller (90 people), but complicated. There were many different vendors coming in and out through the day and they would do certain things but not everything (i.e. bartenders came in to serve wine & beer but not set up and break everything down). My church venue also had many specific rules about what could be done and what couldn’t be done. This created a wedding with many “moving parts,” as they say, and because I was the bride, I couldn’t step out at any given moment to ensure people were doing what they are supposed to be doing. This is why I am so grateful to have had Stephanie coordinate my wedding.

We met several times before the wedding and she made some changes that made the guest experience seamless the day of the wedding. She was also very organized. Before the wedding we sat down and went through an entire spreadsheet of the components of the wedding day and who would be involved in each step. Even though I do event planning, I’d never planned a wedding, so I wasn’t aware of all of the logistics that were specific to a wedding.

I also felt that she communicated with each of my vendors more effectively than myself. They were very responsive to her requests—she knows the business and knows what to ask for and what is realistic. This saved time and headache.
My wedding day was just as I’d envisioned! It really was a beautiful day where many things came together to create one beautiful event. She is highly recommended.

My wife and I live in California and wanted to get married in Maui, but were worried that a destination wedding would be a challenge. Stephanie made sure that wasn't the case. From day one, she was instrumental in helping us choose locations, vendors, and everything else we needed for our wedding. As for design, Stephanie did an amazing job integrating her design expertise with a few of our DIY elements to really make the wedding feel special. And on the weekend of our wedding, she was there for us around the clock with whatever final details we needed help with. Ultimately everything went off without a hitch. We got our dream wedding and will always have Stephanie to thank for that.

Stephanie was amazing! She made wedding planning seem easy. On multiple occasions during the wedding planning process, my fiance and I commented on how she was the best investment we made. I didn't worry about a thing the day of because I knew she had everything under control!

Stephanie did a wonderful job from start to finish. She was able to create an incredible theme for my 40th Birthday Party and executed it beautifully. Stephanie was an incredible asset to making our wedding day amazing. She helped us organize a team (I.E. caterer, photographer, officiant, etc.) that truly made our day everything we could have hoped for. Stephanie was wonderful. We hired her late in the game, primarily just for day of coordination, and she executed perfectly and even went above and beyond what we expected. Stephanie provided us references for vendor's we had not yet solidified, her opinion on layouts, she handled the transition of our "reception location wedding coordinator" with ease and made sure all our vendors knew their schedules and responsibilities. She brought with her a team of 3 and all of them were very professional and knew exactly what we had planned, where our guests needed to be, etc. She was able to assist us with timing at the reception, reminding us to eat, walk around, take it all in and greet our guests. Then she surprised us by decorating our suite with all the flowers, pictures, and decorations we used at the reception.

I have to say if I would have know ahead of time how helpful a wedding planner is, I would have hired one from day one and I definitely would have hired Stephanie. I did have references from two others, but they were not nearly as personal, professional or responsive as Stephanie and not as flexible with doing just day of coordination. The assistance, the recommendations, and stress relief are the best value you could receive for a service that is only a fraction of your wedding cost, yet the MOST IMPORTANT part. Stephanie ensured that everything went smoothly and it did. She was there for me every step of my wedding day and it was nice to know someone had complete control of all the planning and hard work I had put in over the months and that my bridesmaids or mother did not have to life a finger, they just got to enjoy the day like my husband and I did - worry free.

We hired Stephanie and Preppy Chic Events for day-of coordination at our wedding at Rancho Las Lomas. Stephanie went above and beyond day-of coordination duties that I felt like we had a full service planner at hand. From the first time we sat down to discuss the wedding details, she amazed us with how organized, enthusiastic, professional and helpful she was. She executed our wedding perfectly...managing all of our vendors, making sure everything and everyone arrived on time, running the entire event...we really could not have done it without her.

In addition to her organization, she also had so many unique and creative ideas that made our wedding so beautiful. She suggested that we have a candy bar in addition to our wedding cake...and it's an understatement to say that the candy bar was one of the highlights of the evening.
