I met Steph when my best friend and I found her at a wedding expo. She had the best vibe, and we immediately knew she was the one to photograph her wedding in 2018.

At her wedding, Steph toom portraits of my now husband and I. They were amazing, and we even used them on our wedding invitations! That day we decided when we got married, Steph would be our photographer. Flash forward to 2020 and our engagement, we started talking with Steph about wedding dates and availability.

She was so helpful when we had to change our dates, and helped plan out an outline of the day in terms of photography. She made everything so simple, and made our wedding day fun and memorable. My husband and I adore Steph, and will certainly use her for other events going forward.

Steph was incredible to work with throughout the entire process. We greatly appreciated her attention to detail while planning the timeline and ensuring that she had a detailed list of all of the group pictures we wanted. On our wedding day she did an amazing job of keeping things on track, being flexible when we were running late, and doing it all with infectious enthusiasm and warmth. We were delighted to receive a sneak peak of the pictures the day after our wedding, and the rest of the 1300+ captured the excitement and joy of our wedding day so perfectly. You need Steph. First off, she is a lovely, warm, super easy to talk to person. She has amazing ideas and a great personality - every person I have talked to from my wedding said how much they loved her. She is extremely organized and really keeps things moving on the wedding day, but still makes you feel special. Her ability to capture people’s emotions at just the right time is unparalleled. There is never a moment you feel awkward or weird, she helps you feel comfortable and gets the right moments in such a natural way. She’s both so present with you on the day and a blur - she’s getting shots you didn’t even know were happening! Plus she gives you a preview almost immediately which, I didn’t know would be as important as it is! Trust me, once the day is over, all you want is to relive it so an early preview is ESSENTIAL. If pictures of people are important to you, then she is 100% the right choice.

Choosing Steph as our photographer was hands down the best choice we made for our wedding. The photos were stunning, and she was the easiest person to work with on our wedding team. I knew that my wedding photos were the number one thing I wanted to invest in, and I STRUGGLED when I started looking around for a photographer. There were endless options online with so many good reviews, but being photographed usually makes me so uncomfortable, so I didn’t know how I was going to find the right person by just scrolling through their website. I looked for a good six months before I found Steph at a wedding expo in Worcester. My jaw almost dropped when I saw her display. The photos where gorgeous and the albums were of amazing quality, but the huge smile on her face and kindness in her voice were what sold me. She also had amazing pictures she had taken of weddings in the rain. That was one of my biggest fears for my wedding, but those photos were so beautiful and creative that I almost wished it would rain on my wedding day! I’m pretty sure I reached out via email that same day to request her to book us. Being photographed has always made me feel so awkward, and I lived in fear of loud or micromanaging photographers dictating every tilt of the head. But two minutes into our engagement shoot with Steph, all of my fears were gone and I felt so at ease. She has an amazing energy!
Steph was so prepared and professional. She answered everything on my super long list of questions, and was quick to adapt and accommodate. She made a list in advance of every detail, every group shot, every moment, and every friend or family member that we wanted photographed (even asking in advance if there were things or people we didn’t want captured, which was honestly such a good question I hadn’t considered). I felt so relieved and prepared by the time we finished our prep phone call, and I didn’t have to worry at all the day of my wedding.
The photos we got from Steph were gorgeous, creative, and top quality. I honestly feel like she captured the most beautiful and FUN parts of the day, endless moments of love and laughter. She had amazing ideas that created amazing pictures for us. (She had us pop outside for a third round of couple’s shots between dinner courses, and they are our favorite photos from the entire day. The lighting was magical!) Every detail I wanted captured is now perfectly preserved. Our wedding album is my absolute favorite thing, it looks so luxurious from cover to cover. She let me have as much control over the photo placement as I wanted, swapping around photos and editing where needed. There was not a thing I would have changed working with Steph.

If you are on the fence picking a photographer, please take it from me and look no further! The best investment you could make to capture your special day!!

Steph just captured our wonderful wedding two days ago. She is a masterful photographer and a true professional in every way. Her interactions with us were gracious, easy and clear putting us totally at ease in a powerfully emotional day. During the actual wedding she was almost invisible except for our agreed to family portraits.

Steph has a total "whatever it takes" attitude and got us our initial photos within 24 hours of the event. She has a master's eye for framing - all the more extraordinary given that she was photographing in spontaneous situations. Looking through them almost every photo was so amazingly framed that it was hard to see how she accomplished such alive joyful portraiture in such spontaneous situations.

We explored the work of many other photographers. Many of them were excellent. What set Steph's work apart was that looking at her work she was the only one where we actually felt INSIDE of the scenes she so beautifully captures. Steph was a consummate professional, friendly, efficient, and had a great attitude. The artistic eye she possesses captured photographs that really bring us back to our wedding day. I can't say enough about Steph. She was the best decision we made, and one of the easiest! Steph had photographed my sister's wedding in 2015 and made the day run smoothly and efficiently. 1) Attention to detail - Steph will help you create an overview of what to expect in terms of photography, and you help her nail down the group combinations or other must-have images.

2) Versatility - It didn't matter to Steph that it was drizzling on and off during our wedding and reception; she was always suggesting places where we could get amazing photos, both indoors and outdoors. She also executed efficiently on guest requests for a dozen different types of group photos the day of the event (I suppose everyone realized she could take amazing photos almost instantly and also felt comfortable approaching her).

3) Quality - The quality of pictures come from her willingness to do whatever it takes to get the shot. For example, she was happy to maneuver herself into tall grass so WE could look epic in the picture. She always made us feel relaxed and at ease with simple directions on where to look, hold hands, walk, etc. This demeanor and guidance results in pictures where you look like you are having fun, because you can be your own self.

My husband and I hired Steph Stevens to shoot our wedding in July 2016, and I can't give her enough praise. I first had the privilege of seeing her in action when she shot the wedding of some good friends of mine. I was a bridesmaid in that ceremony and loved seeing how she put the bride and groom (plus the whole wedding party really) at ease. She was fun to work with and her shots were stunning. When we started planning our own wedding, I knew who I wanted to take our photos. We first met with Steph in September and by October, we were doing our engagement shoot around Boston. In a word, perfect. Steph was professional, warm, and very accommodating. We had fun at our engagement shoot and Steph knew exactly which shots to take to make them look fabulous, even outside with bare trees on a cold April evening. This was even more apparent at the wedding - we ended up with a cold, raw day with pretty much constant rain. Steph made us go outside with umbrellas and WOW I'm glad she did. Fantastic pictures and really beautifully edited. She's also fast and efficient when taking those tedious formal family pictures so we could enjoy our cocktail hour! I'd recommend her to anyone.
