Brides for Haiti was my very first experience shopping for a wedding dress, and I'm so glad it was! The staff was warm and welcoming, not at all pushy or trying to steer me toward one dress over another, and provided helpful recommendations as to possible alterations. There was not an overwhelming number of dresses to wade through, yet I tried on 5 dresses of different styles just within my size range! Customers should come prepared for listed sizes to differ slightly between dresses since some of the pre-owned gowns were previously altered. That being said, the prices can't be beaten and the humanitarian mission of the store is absolutely worth supporting.

This was such a great time! We were put into a private room with tons of dresses to choose from. It was so fun to be able to pull any dress I wanted and allowed me to try on so many. I ended up finding my dream dress and the woman working there brought me out a veil that matched perfectly. She was so kind throughout the whole process. All of the dresses are under $1,000 and proceeds go to a great cause:) Definitely recommend!

Had a friend recommend this place and am so glad I went! I live in DC so it was about an hour drive and so worth it. As someone who is picky, it was so nice to be put in a room with dresses and able to just try them on in private. Ended up finding the perfect dress and really enjoyed being able to give to a good cause. Highly recommend

I absolutely recommend Brides for Haiti! When looking for a wedding dress, I hesitated with the thought of potentially spending thousands of dollars on a dress I would wear once. I love that through this shop, I could support a non-profit as a part of my wedding dress buying experience. Ms. Susan was sweet, caring, and offered me carefully crafted suggestions on different dresses to try-on. At my appointment, I would estimate there were about 50 dresses per size, and sizes went up to size 20, I believe. Styles differed by size. I ended up buying a dress in a style that I would have never picked off the rack by myself!! The style supported my body type, fit beautifully, and I felt comfortable in the dress! I spent $700 on my dress, and the retail value was close to $2K (the dress is new, with tags!). I would absolutely recommend checking out this dress shop and supporting a business that supports others!

Everything they have is amazing quality! The natural lighting of the windows in the viewing room also really helped me make an educated decision on the kind of dress I wanted

I had a wonderful experience at Brides for Haiti! Though their selection is smaller than some designer boutiques, they still had such variety of styles, fabrics, and sizes. I fell in love with my dress and was able to get it for much cheaper than retail--such a blessing. Also a beautiful charity. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful dress on a budget!

The dresses are all well kept and beautiful! There were so many options and styles that it’s hard to not find a dress you love. On top of that, the prices are a bargain. Customer service was great and flexible when I ran into bad traffic in the way over. Will definitely be recommending this to my friends!

Got a dress in 70 minutes, pictures taken, veil to match, awesome service, referral to a Seemstress who saw me a couple hours later. Very professional, accommodating, thoughtful and informative.
