This was such a great time! We were put into a private room with tons of dresses to choose from. It was so fun to be able to pull any dress I wanted and allowed me to try on so many. I ended up finding my dream dress and the woman working there brought me out a veil that matched perfectly. She was so kind throughout the whole process. All of the dresses are under $1,000 and proceeds go to a great cause:) Definitely recommend! -

The dresses are all well kept and beautiful! There were so many options and styles that it’s hard to not find a dress you love. On top of that, the prices are a bargain. Customer service was great and flexible when I ran into bad traffic in the way over. Will definitely be recommending this to my friends! -

Great selection!
I liked that she put me in a room with dresses most likely to fit me and let me try on at my own pace/selection. Found a dress perfect for our summer wildflower field wedding. -

I found a beautiful dress here that I cannot wait to wear on my wedding day! Laura was so sweet and helpful, and I absolutely love that these dresses are donated and that a large portion of what you pay goes toward a village in Haiti. Thrilled with this dress shop!! -

Brides for Haiti is such a hidden gem! I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was greeted with such kindness and friendliness. I immediately felt right at home. I never once felt rushed. I was given an overview of the dresses and given time to try on what I was interested in. There are so many great quality options - and I found MY dress! Thank you to Brides for Haiti for being SO wonderful and for all the amazing work you do for such a worthy cause. I’m so happy to have found you! -

I found my perfect wedding dress at Brides for Haiti! Wendy was super helpful; she listened to what I liked about each dress I tried on and was able to find one that checked all the boxes. When I tried on the dress, I was immediately taken by it and my mom and MOH agreed! I can't wait to show off my dress to my loved ones on the big day!

Look No Further!
If you're looking for a stylish wedding dress (and much more) within your budget AND doing for a great cause, look no further! I was amazed how knowledgeable, friendly and organized Wendy and Patty are. There was no pressure, and you have a spacious room to try your dresses on with undivided attentions.
They even have a seamstress who can help with alterations. I've been looking for a reception dress for over a month, and within one hour in the shop, I GOT MY DRESS!
Definitely a hidden gem you must go and try! -

I have been beaming all day since leaving Brides4Haiti! Susan was not only so accommodating in getting me into her store when it worked for me, she was also extremely kind, helpful, and such a fun lady to work with. I came to the appointment alone with an idea for what I wanted to try on. I pulled about 10 dresses from her racks, never felt pressured on time, and just overall felt so comfortable and at ease the entire experience. I will definitely be recommending this store to everyone I know who is looking for a wedding dress. Thanks so much Susan 💕💕💕 -

I cannot recommend Brides for Haiti enough! After a very lackluster, frustrating and upsetting bridal appointment in downtown Frederick, my friend found them through Google and we called to see if we could drop by to look. Susan was very accommodating and told us it'd be fine for us to walk in and try some dresses out. While the building that BfH is located in seems a bit confusing (it's housed in a USDA office building) to come across at first, you should really stick with it because it is SO worth it!
When I walked in, there were dresses on dresses on dresses! All gorgeous, clean and hung up neatly. They had dresses ranging from 4-30, with a large amount sitting between 10-14, but don't let that discourage you! There's a large open area with mirrors, couches and various other seats for guests to use, flanked with floor to ceiling windows, allowing SO much natural light in. The vibe was very chill and the nice lady helping us was pretty hands off... since we were walk-ins, she had her hands full with another bride, but that was A-OK with me!
We were lead to the gowns that would work for me on the other side of the suite, and shown a VERY large changing room (honestly, as big as a bedroom!) and told to look around, try on as many dresses as I want, and to let the lady know if we needed any help. My friend got busy and was pulling dress after dress off the rack for me to try, which was AWESOME because I'm plus size and I was scared I wouldn't have options! (FYI I wear a size 22/24 in street clothes, pear shaped)
I managed to try on like 7 different dresses, most of them being fit and flare. But the last one I tried on was a strapless ballgown, and it absolutely blew me away. I walked out to the common area with on and got to see it in natural light, and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! We tried on various hair accessories and veils they had available, and it really helped me piece together my wedding day look. I got the whole bridal experience, but with literally ZERO pushiness or stress! Literally the BEST bridal appointment I've had!
I walked out with my dress, paying only about a third of what I would have in a boutique for this dress! And I felt really good, knowing that I was not only saving this dress from being scrapped, but that my money was going to help out with a great cause.
Seriously, RUN to Brides for Haiti and check it out! I can pretty much guarantee that you'll be happily surprised! -

After finding them via a FB forum recommendation, I rolled the dice and made an appointment. My wedding was 4 months out and the traditional salons I went to had little to offer in my price range ($1,500) that was available to order or off the rack.
The staff was amazing to schedule with via their FB page and welcoming when I got there. They have HUNDREDS of never-worn, floor samples that have been donated to them with a limited accessory selection as well. The shop itself is extremely organized and sorted by sizes. You check in, meet your attendee, and then hit the racks to pick out what dresses you'd like to try on.
Highly recommend the shop for quality dresses, affordable prices ($499-899...AMAZING), and a great experience! -

I am so happy to recommend St. Mary's Brides for Haiti.
I was an apprehensive dress shopper, but they have so many dresses in all sizes- including plus. I was able to try on many dresses that were wonderful options and I love what I chose. I truly could not believe all of the options they had. Many of the dresses were new, and all a great value. The staff could not be more wonderful and the environment was very supportive. I will tell everyone I know about this shop. And the money raised goes to support a parish in Haiti. -

To any bride looking to stay on a budget but still find an incredible, high quality wedding dress, please visit Brides for Haiti! You will never regret it. They have a huge selection of high quality gowns at a fraction of what you will pay in a boutique.
Also, as a plus size bride I was intimidated by the thought of going to bridal boutiques and trying on samples that would run small. But, going here, they had a selection of all different sizes that I could try on in a super friendly and supportive environment.
I got my MAGGIE SOTTERO dress during the bridal showcase event! I also definitely recommend attending this event. There are lots of great vendors (see floral arrangement I won as a door prize and photobooth pic from another vendor) and even seamstresses on site to help you!
Finally, the best part of the whole process is you know that the money you spent on making your big day special will help people in need ❤️ -

I've never been inside the store, instead I donated all my wedding outfits, including my reception and church dress here. I didn't want to wait months to by chance sell my dresses online so the best way to was to give back. This non profit has helped many brides while helping the needy in Haiti. It's a win-win-win situation for me! -

This was such a great experience. It was my first time trying on dresses and I was a little overwhelmed, but the ladies there were so helpful and gave such great recommendations. I was able to try on as many dresses as I wanted, and all of them were under $1000 and really good quality so I wasn't worried about falling in love with a crazy expensive dress! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get a feel for a lot of different styles. -

Omg this place is unique it's out of the city limits but a wide collection of dresses. I love the fact that they are sized and place accordingly, in different rooms which makes it easier, rather than searching through a lot of dresses. Patty was really friendly and patient with me lol as I can be a bit picky. I wish I had found them earlier probably would have had my dress a long time ago. But all in all I am excited and elated to found the dress I said yes to. Thanks again Patty.
