St. John's is the best place to get married in the Mahoning Valley. It's a old stone church with Gothic architecture and a million-dollar Tiffany stained glass window. Located in the heart of Youngstown, St. John's is the most lovely location for an Episcopal ceremony that I've ever seen.
The rector, John Horner, is kindly and friendly, and won't interrogate you or force you into some sort of weird pre-marital counseling weekend or anything like that. We had three brief meetings with him before we were married, and filled out a short form that's it!
Keep in mind that usually, to be married in an Episcopal church, you must be part of the congregation for a least a little while.
