University Circle United Methodist Church is a wedding venue located in Cleveland, Ohio. Situated on picturesque grounds, this venue features views of Wade Lagoon and a peaceful park. The grand church is just a short walk from the Cleveland Museum of Art and Case Western Reserve University.

Facilities and Capacity

Couples may host their event inside the grand architecture of the church walls. For a memorable ceremony, couples will enjoy the Chapel, filled with wooden beams, stained-glass windows, and rich stone. The Chapel accommodates up to 100 seated guests. Comfortably seating 250 people, The Great Hall works well as a reception space and has an adjoining kitchen for the caterers. Couples may also choose to host their event in the Gym, where food and drink are also permitted. Additional spaces available include the Parlor, Reception, and the Yoder Room. The Parlor is intimate, featuring warm lighting, red carpet, and seating for 50 people. Offering 500 square feet of space, the Reception is great for rehearsal dinners and seats 50. Lastly, the Yoder Room supplies seating for 80 guests and offers video equipment. A private dressing room is available for the wedding party to use when getting ready on the big day.

An on-site wedding coordinator will help manage all aspects of the planning within the church to ensure a stress-free wedding day. History

The design and architecture of the church were crafted by the late Bertram Goodhue. The construction of the beautiful cathedral-style church was complete in 1928. A merger between the two congregations, Epworth-Euclid United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church of Cleveland, unfolded in 2010. Today, the church stands tall and is a gateway for education, healthcare, and culture.
