The Spring House Hotel was the perfect location for our August 7, 2021 wedding. The venue was breath taking and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, but throughout it all the entire team at SH was so flexible and accommodating. Leading up to the wedding, Tanya was such a pleasure to work with. She was professional, responsive and supportive. She gave us guidance, made suggestions and helped us through the entire process. We had a nonstandard request, which she was able to work with Frank to get approved. During our wedding weekend, she was incredible! She met with us to go over the items we brought to the island and then transformed the whole place to bring our vision to life, working with all of our vendors (linens, flowers, lighting, band) to create beautiful spaces. Everyone is still raving about how amazing our wedding was and they can’t stop talking about the incredible food and drinks – the SH even brought in our favorite oysters for the raw bar! Kevin was also amazing in the hotel booking department; ensuring everything was reserved and blocked off for us – even making sure someone could pick up my disabled Grandmother from the ferry. Having the entire SH Inn to ourselves was wonderful!

We had a fantastic experience with the Spring House Hotel as the venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. Throughout the planning process, Tanya was always incredibly responsive to any questions we had. She and the entire staff were so professional and helped make the day seamless and enjoyable for our guests. The venue itself is beautiful, and I don't think you could find another location with more flexibility (e.g. outdoor and indoor options, extensive menu, etc). Highly recommend if you're looking to get married on Block Island!

I wish there were more stars that we could give! We knew from the minute we met Tanya for a tour of the the Spring House, it was the perfect place for us! We loved the idea of having a destination wedding that didn't involve a flight for most of our guests. The venue is amazing an our guests loved how all different parts of the property were utilized throughout our day, all beautiful in their own way.

Tanya, I'm not sure what else we could say that every other review hasn't already mentioned. You are the absolute best at what you do, extremely professional, responsive and just a pleasure to work with. You always hear that something will go wrong on your wedding day, but we did not have any issues, it was executed flawlessly! I'm not sure how many brides can say they were completely calm on their wedding day and were able to just focus on having the best time with my family and friends because they knew they were in the best hands.

Everything about the Spring House is and was absolutely perfect for our August wedding. We chose the spot after having been to the island a handful of times, but without visiting or touring the hotel itself; it turned out to be even better than the pictures.

More importantly, Tanya was so wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. She is so kind and so good at what she does, and she and her team will go above and beyond to make sure the weekend goes smoothly and your day is perfect. (I did not do a single thing to help set up on the day of the wedding and it all turned out exactly as we’d envisioned.)

Not only did we love the day and the venue, our guests are still raving about it all—the raw bar, the beautiful setting and views, dancing in the parlor with an occasional break out on the porch, etc. No one wanted to go home at the end of the weekend (including us!), and it was really fun to soak all of that up on Sunday morning. I was hesitant to host a big bash of a wedding—and to ask many out-of-town guests to make the trip to the island—and it ended up being the very best day and 100% worth it. Cannot recommend the Spring House enough! It was truly the perfect venue.

Tanya and the entire Spring House were incredible partners throughout the whole process - we loved working with them. They were organized and coordinated from booking all the way through the event. The day went smoothly, Tanya handled all vendor coordination without a hiccup and most importantly without stressing out the couple or our parents. I literally cannot say enough great things about Tanya and her team at the Spring House. From the first moment of contact a year and a half ago until our final goodbye from the island, Tanya was absolutely incredible to work with. She is so smart and capable, and so sweet and pleasant. Her response time throughout the planning process was amazing and she went above and beyond in every instance to help make our day absolutely perfect. The venue itself is gorgeous, with each part of the evening taking part in different areas of the venue - ceremony on the gorgeous front lawn, cocktail hour on the veranda, dinner on the tented back patio, and dancing in Victoria's Parlor. The food was incredible and the bartenders and waitstaff were so attentive and great at what they do. People may say wedding planning is stressful, but with the Spring House team I can honestly say I never once worried about how the day would go. Family and friends raved about the wedding, and my husband and I both said it was truly the best day our lives. Anyone considering the Spring House for their wedding should absolutely book, we wish we could repeat the experience every year!

Tanya and her Spring House team are not just a venue and staff, they went above and beyond in every aspect making every dream come true (even my crazy moon water cocktail request). Our black tie wedding was not easy to execute and included the largest installation our florist team of 12 had done and multiple trucks to the island but Tanya ensured everything was flawless.

Set on the hill overlooking the ocean, the Spring House provided not just historical charm but multiple locations (and therefore poor weather back up options) for us to plan our event without sacrificing the 'wow' factor. From the front lawn to covered wrap around veranda, the beautiful tented patio and stunning parlor, each location allowed us to create a curated experience for our guests.

Spring House coordinator Tanya was patient, thorough, detail oriented and not only achieved everything we asked her, she and her team went above and beyond surprising us with synchronized plating from the amazing service staff. From appetizers to entrees to dessert and late night food, guests ate every single morsel and are still raving about how amazing the food was. Even my insanely picky dad is still talking about how exquisite his meal was.

Tanya was the calming presence everyone wants during a crazy, condensed planning process. She made me feel like my wedding was the only event she was thinking about (despite that NOT being the case!).

Spring House was the most amazing wedding venue we could have ever imagined!! The day went off without a hitch and I would recommend it to anyone interested!
- First and foremost, Tanya, the wedding coordinator is a powerhouse and a pleasure to work with! For the 15 months planning our wedding, she was so quick to reply to our questions and always on top of everything. On the day of our wedding, she worked seamlessly in the background to make sure everything was running smoothly (which it did!).
- The venue itself is pure magic. We loved having a semi-destination wedding where our guests did not have to fly, but did have to spend the weekend and travel over by ferry. When you get off the ferry, time kind of slows down and makes everyone enjoy their weekend so much more. Spring House has stunning waterfront views, the ultimate New England charm, and great ambiance throughout the entire property. Weddings are really front and center and have use of the front lawn, wraparound patio, dining deck, and parlor.
- One of our small concerns when booking Spring House was that it may feel awkward having the dance floor and dining areas in two separate rooms. However, this was absolutely nothing to be worried about it and it flowed perfectly the day of. If anything, I'd say it's preferable as it forces everyone on the dance floor.
- The food was AMAZING. We had the pleasure of doing a tasting prior to our wedding so we knew how fantastic the food was going to be. The Chicken Saltimbocca was phenomenal and our favorite entrée. The honey pear bruschetta was our favorite appetizer!

All in all, everything went perfectly for our wedding day and we will be returning as guests of Spring House Hotel for years to come! Huge thanks to Tanya, the Head Chef, and all the bartenders! You made our day so special and we will remember it forever.
