We chose them because they source everything locally, and were able to staff and stock our bar/beverage needs. During planning, Romana was so quick to respond to last minute changes, adding late night snacks, dietary needs, bar & menu changes, and all the silly questions I had along the way! Day-of, the team was so attentive, asking us what we needed, congratulating us, and providing exceptional service. On top of that, we got so many compliments on the food from our guests. South Fork was HIGHLY recommended to me by my wedding coordinator and I could not be happier with our decision to use them! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced! Romana is extremely kind and easy to work with, and we loved that they opened their home to us for a tasting. They even served us a private dinner during our cocktail hour and would check in on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves! Such wonderful people and an amazing company. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!

Romana and her team were extremely helpful and professional from the beginning. We did a tasting with them about a year out from our wedding and knew right away that they would be our choice - we also tasted with two other caterers and Romana's team felt like restaurant quality food. They use locally sourced ingredients, and Romana worked closely with me to ensure we had a menu I was happy with and one that would work well for our crowd. Even for a wedding of 150 guests, everything was cooked perfectly - we were thrilled with their service!

South Fork Catering was amazing to work with! My now-husband and I had been to a wedding catered by South Fork in 2019, and loved it so much we knew we wanted to hire them for our 2021 wedding. Romana was very responsive and easy to work with, and we loved our tasting in her and her husband's home. We didn't want traditional "wedding food", and Romana helped us come up with the perfect Southern-but-fresh summer menu for our early August wedding. The food was very high quality, delicious, and perfectly filling without being heavy. The servers were also amazing - we had passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, and wine service during our buffet-style dinner, and the waiters were professional and timely. South Fork was one of the easiest vendors to work with and we really appreciated that. Romana was upfront about all costs and expectations, and there were no surprises. We would highly recommend South Fork for any catering needs!

South Fork Catering came recommended by our wedding venue - and OMG - they did not disappoint!

I had a distinct vision for our wedding - an intimate plated dinner. Since the focus of our wedding was dinner, we wanted to make sure we were giving our guests the best quality food. As soon as I spoke with Romana, I knew we were in good hands! She went over the farms that they source all their produce and how they tailor menus to feature seasonal fare - exactly what we wanted!

South Fork put together an exceptional meal! We had artichoke crostini (my favorite!), lamb pops (I lost track of how many people came up to me during cocktail hour to talk about these), charcuterie bites (an innovative way to still offer meats and cheese during COVID times), and hot chicken bites (seriously delicious!). And then for dinner we started with a wedge salad that - again - people started raving about. For the main course, we offered the most amazing trout, beef tenderloin, chicken and vegetables. The sides were almost as good as the main - I could eat the Potato Gratin everyday!

Every guest said this was the best wedding food they have ever had! The service was equally exceptional! My husband is GF, but I figured we didn't need to do GF appetizers, but when I told them about his allergy at our tasting, they didn't say a word, but then submitted a final menu days later with (gf) denoted on the menu, and had made GF substitutions for him on the appetizers. I was shocked! Their staff was perfect as well. They brought the courses out quickly, but not rushed. And was so perfect about making sure everyone's wine was replenished as needed!!

South Fork was a highlight of our wedding and I can't recommend them enough! I only hope that I have another reason to use South Fork in the future!

Following our wedding, the first thing our guests mention to us is how great the food was! One of our guests said, "it was a buffet that tasted like a plated meal." All the meat and produce are locally sourced, making it deliciously fresh and you are supporting local agriculture. The staff was very attentive to our needs and everything ran very smoothly. My husband and I booked South Fork Catering for our wedding and it was, by far, one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding (and something our guests have continued to talk about days later!). Romana, Michael, and Michael went above and beyond on our special day and their delicious food was one of the biggest "hits" from our wedding. Their team is highly professional, creative, and accommodating, and their food is EXCEPTIONAL, with a focus on local and in-season ingredients. South Fork provided the "upscale Southern" cuisine that my husband and I were hoping for and they far exceeded our hopes. They were highly accommodating and open to considering our requests, and did so with enthusiasm and excellent communication throughout the planning process. They also did an outstanding job decorating and setting our table, executing our vision so beautifully! Furthermore, they were so kind to our guests and to us during our wedding and throughout planning. I highly recommend South Fork Catering and would work with them again in a heartbeat for future celebrations.
