Great tasting food carefully cooked with a variety of Chef Ernie's perfected techniques is equally balanced with an attentive and warm service delivered by Jane and her team. Together, the team brings an unforgettable culinary experience topped with a cherry of enthusiasm for the newlyweds.
Services Offered
After perfecting the cultural cooking practices of his mother alongside many years of chef experience and education, Chef Ernie has mastered the art of catering at weddings and other events. Some of EJ 2Step Caterers' full service amenities include bartending, day-of-event coordination, customized cake creation and delivery, and, primarily, catering. The team caters small to large gatherings from 25 to 1000 guests, including birthdays, engagements, rehearsal dinners, and other celebrations of life.
Cuisine
Among their standout offerings are Chef Ernie's homemade huge selection of empanadas, fried on-site where allowed. They also offer the convenience of take-home catering for 25-50 people. They feature a tempting selection of options, from shrimp cocktails, bruschetta, caprese skewers to charcuterie spreads, quesadillas, stuffed mushrooms and much more for just their appetizers! If you want the best wedding food you’ve ever had in your life, service that is unmatched, and owners who genuinely care about you and your wishes for your big day then EJ 2 step is who you need. We received so many compliments not only on our food but also on the service that was provided! Their servers were kind, polite, and went above and beyond. They kindly packed my husband and I up to go boxes to enjoy at the end of the night as weddings really do get crazy! Ernie & Jane are some of the most genuine and lovable people I have ever met. All of my guests with allergens were taken care of and it truly was the best time. They were also extremely transparent from the start about cost and willing to work with us 100%! Jane even started knowing what we liked and our style and knew exactly what empanadas we would pick for our cocktail hour before we even tasted them! I have literally nothing negative to say about Ernie & Jane and neither does my husband! They are truly the best caterers and amazing people!
