Ted with SoundProof Entertainment served as the DJ at our wedding (both ceremony and reception) and he was absolutely perfect! From the moment we selected SoundProof Entertainment as our DJ, Ted was extremely responsive and professional. The initial process of determining what equipment was needed for our big day was seamless, and the pricing was beyond fair for the quality of the service. The equipment was top grade for both the ceremony and reception. Ted arrived well ahead of when he needed to in order to have everything set up and ready to go, eliminating any stress on our end regarding our sound system and music. Ted did a phenomenal job keeping things moving on time throughout the night, made no mistakes introducing the wedding party, and was very good at communicating with us to make sure we were happy with how things were going. As it relates to dancing, Ted kept the entire dance floor full for the duration of the reception, and the song selection was perfect for both a young and older crowd. We absolutely loved working with Ted, and recommend him as the lead DJ at all weddings! Thank you for helping make our day perfect Ted!

Ted led an awesome wedding. He played all the songs we requested and filled in the gaps with music he felt would hit based on his observations of the attendees. Everyone was up on their feet the entire evening once dinner ended.

Ted was amazing to work with. He was very responsive whenever I reached out with a question. He worked great with my wedding planner. The music level was perfect during all parts of the wedding. He was quick with mucus selections when I made small last minute changes. He kept people on the dance floor all night. Would highly recommend!!

Ted was the first DJ we talked with in planning for our wedding and we immediately liked him. While we still talked to a few more DJs, we knew that we wanted to work with Ted and Soundproof Entertainment. He was so easy to work with and offered the advice that we needed. He walked us through the process of selecting our ceremony and reception songs and had every song that we requested for those special moments.
Everything - from the outdoor ceremony to the grand entrance to the toasts to the cake cutting to the first dance to getting our guests on the dance floor - ran seamlessly. Ted gave us updates as needed and worked with our officiant, photographer and venue to make sure everything ran well - and we didn’t need to coordinate anything. He made sure that everyone was ready for the entrances, toasts/speeches and dances.
The playlist was exactly what we envisioned and we loved dancing to all of the 90s and 2000s music! The photo booth was a huge hit and we loved getting the book with the proofs - and an email from Ted following the wedding with the digital proofs. It was fun sending those photos to our family and friends.

DJ Ted was amazing help for my husband and I as we began our wedding planning process. He was the first DJ we spoke to, and helped us understand the process and what steps we needed to take, before we had even booked with him! He was so great with us, we never spoke with another DJ, and we booked with him after one phone call. I referred him to another friend of mine who was beginning the planning process, and she also booked with Soundproof. He helped us nail down our initial schedule (which is not as easy as it sounds) and the day of our wedding he was seamless between songs, and was very much on top of keeping us on track for the evening! He did an amazing job taking all of our requests into consideration and put together an absolutely perfect transition between entrances of the bridal party into the reception (we had seven sets of groomsmen and bridesmaids as well as parents entrances and our entrance as well, each had a different song. Ted did a phenomenal job of accommodating not only multiple songs, but also putting together a mix of all of these songs in advance so the bridal party could practice in advance!). I will happily recommend Soundproof Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ that not only can keep everyone dancing, but also help guide you through one of the most exciting days of your life! We heard about this Business from other friends who hired them for their wedding as well as friends who attended events that used them for their entertainment. Our photographer who has been to many functions, said “ Oh I love Soundproof!”. That alone had us happy about choosing them.
The company was great to communicate and coordinate with during the planning process, and phenomenal on our wedding day! Our guests even commented on how fun DJ Ivan made the evening, just the perfect energy for our day!

We found Soundproof through a random search on Theknot and it was the BEST decision we made! Ted was super accommodating in meeting with us since we were living out of state. Their client portal was comprehensive and easy to use, which made it one of the more exciting wedding prep things to do.
