This was the nicest venue, one of the more affordable options, and had friendly personnel who were responsive and available to make adjustments on the fly. Very professional and worked well. No issues with the venue or hotel during the wedding.

While we did not have our wedding at the Sofitel, it was the hotel we chose for our guests to stay in Philadelphia. And I have to admit, it was absolutely AMAZING! In every single aspect, the Sofitel was perfect. I started talking to Svetlana about a year before our wedding, and at the same time I was in conversations with about 20 other hotels in the city. To my surprise, Sofitel was the ONLY hotel who went out of their way every single time to accommodate all of our requests. Closer to wedding time, I started working with Kristina and Tammy, who were both extremely nice, super responsive to all emails and phone calls, and worked tirelessly to make our wedding weekend one we will never forget. Their professionalism matches the high quality of the hotel! I was so happy to see that all of the rooms were recently renovated, the hotel was extremely clean, the hotel staff was polite to all of our guests the entire weekend, and all of our guests loved the breakfast offered at the Sofitel. I was given a suite which was very spacious. They even brought us a small fridge to put some wedding flowers and brought me scissors when I needed them! These small details make the world of difference. The Sofitel even gave us chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne! To top it off, nothing beats the location of the Sofitel in Center City. It is in the heart of the city near Rittenhouse Square, and is walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants, including the Capital Grill where we had our rehearsal dinner. Sofitel even has amazing valet service who went out of their way the entire weekend when guests needed taxis to get to our wedding venue and to/from the Airport or the 30th Street Train Station. Collectively, we could not have picked, or hoped for, a better hotel for our guests to stay for our wedding! I STRONGLY recommend the Sofitel as the place to stay in Philadelphia if you are having a wedding. You won’t regret it, we sure did not. My husband and I got married at Sofitel Philadelphia with an intimate wedding cocktail and reception. We had only two months between our engagement and wedding, and despite the short amount of time we could see several venues in Center City, Philadelphia. Sofitel stood out from others with its spacious wedding venue which was the right size for our small party. We had the cocktail, ceremony and reception all in the same room. Starting from the first day of planning, Michael Mitloff has been very kind, understanding, attentive and professional. He has always greeted us with a big smile at the lobby and managed every detail with such efficiency. He understood our needs and directed us to a great photographer and floral designer. He reserved us a great couple’s suite to get ready on the day of the wedding. Our guests praised the attentiveness of the staff on the wedding day and they even said that they had the best wedding dinner. It was very delicious! We should also mention that Valerie and Amir have been very helpful and kind during the reception. Everything moved very smoothly throughout the night even though we requested a couple changes in the wedding program at the last minute. Now looking back, we think that our wedding couldn’t been any better and we are so happy that we made the best decision by choosing the Sofitel in Center CIty, Philadelphia.

My husband and I where recently married at SOFITEL Philadelphia and there ar no words for the experience. From the planning to execution Lisa was amazing. The food was stellar the service impeccable we could not have asked for a better day.

I can't say enough good things about the Sofitel as a wedding venue. Our guests were so impressed and they really tried to make every aspect of the planning and the day as seamless and easy as possible. The food was delicious, the spaces were gorgeous. And Lisa is the biggest help!

I honestly think we would have considered eloping if it wasn't for the amazing team at Sofitel. From the first day, we were there, Lisa DeLuca was there to assure us that the Sofitel was the best place to have our event and that she would be in our corner, supporting us every step of the way. She was so supportive, getting to know us as a couple, our story, and how to translate that into an amazing wedding. Moreover, what many other vendors consider an upgrade (like chivari chairs or textured linens) are standard at Sofitel. They also offer creative alternatives to make your day special, like a croquembouche instead of a traditional wedding cake. I honestly can't imagine a couple planning a wedding without someone like Lisa DeLuca and without a vendor like the Sofitel hotel!

Perfect experience! They handled so much, but let us add our own personal touch. Also, Lisa Deluca, who was our main point of contact, was a true pleasure. Everyone was so responsive to our needs and questions. Also, for the location, the food, and the amenities, the package cost was the best we found. Everyone kept remarking on how fancy and classy the Sofitel was while we were actually well under budget. I really cannot say enough good things about the staff. Service is everything to me and everyone at the Sofitel was great from Lisa & Valerie who handled the event specifics to our personal attendant the day of. Everyone at the Sofitel truly helped make our wedding the best day of our lives!

The Sofitel was exactly what we were looking for. A modern luxurious hotel in the beautiful rittenhouse square section of Philadelphia where we could have our ceremony and reception and have hotel accommodations for our out of town guests. Compared to other venues we researched they factor in the tax and gratuity instead of just offering the per person pricing. It was really helpful when doing comparisons and factoring in all they offer with their packages. We were very impressed with Lisa Deluca who is just one of the nicest people we've ever met and she was with us all the way through planning and guided us on our wedding day. Thanks to Lisa, Tim and I actually ate and danced at our wedding! Then they packaged up additional meals and cake to the complimentary presidential suite where we were met with a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries. The Sofitel makes wedding planning a breeze as they offer and do so much for you. The hotel block was managed with ease and Svetlana would always respond quickly to give an update and they were able to accommodate a request to increase. The food is out of this world good and our guests just raved about it. The wedding cake is included and when I couldn't decide on flavor they said I could choose two and they would alternate the layers. It was the best cake! The hotel and event staff were all just so nice and accommodating and treated us with such class. I was really impressed with the added details that are included such as the chairs and linens for the reception. They made the room look so gorgeous. I was not stressed at all about planning this wedding largely because this venue is so great. I can't say enough thank yous to Lisa, Valerie and the staff at Sofitel. We had the best time.

We used the Sofitel for our wedding room block. Svetlana assisted us with setting up the room block, and her and her staff made sure we were well taken care of the entire weekend! The staff was really friendly, and the valet parking made parking in the city a breeze. The night of our wedding, we came back to our room and they provided us with a bottle of complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, with a nice note. It was so kind and thoughtful of them. Thank you for a wonderful and pleasant experience! We highly recommend using Sofitel's accommodations if staying in the city!
