We loved working with Amy from Snowflake Cupcakes. This is a small local business from Rutland, Vermont that is still growing and we loved the idea of supporting them as they grew. We tasted cupcakes "on the sly" from one of the venues that sells their cupcakes daily ("Mister Twitters") and I knew they would be perfect for us and contacted them right away. All they needed was a $50 deposit and a contract and we were set for the date.

They had clear pricing and a large selection of flavors. We selected several of the large cupcake flavors for the ceremony (and actually they worked with us for a couple of custom flavors, no additional charge) and contracted them to drop them off and set them up on on a display ($30 delivery fee which was WELL worth it, and a refundable deposit for the display), which worked perfectly. The only problem was that they looked so delicious that people started stealing them from the display before the cake "cutting" ceremony :) We ordered what amounted to just over 2 large cupcakes per person and had leftovers afterward. Essentially we paid like $2.50ish per person for the cupcakes.

Their cream cheese frosting is AMAZING. I would get everything with cream cheese frosting if I could, but those that prefer buttercream or chocolate were happy as well. The raspberry filling was delicious as well. I loved that they do not use preservatives and everything was super fresh. We were all happily snacking on them into the next day.

If you're looking for a super-formal wedding cake display, this may not work for you, but for our laid-back family wedding, it was PERFECT. I realized that I was actually nervous about having a big fancy cake at the wedding, and felt this overwhelming relief once I settled on cupcakes instead. Having the cupcakes instead gave just the right vibe to our reception and I was super happy with the result.

We couldn’t have been happier with Snowflake Cupcakes at our wedding. Communication was easy throughout the planning process, and they really delivered on wedding day.

We set up the room the morning of the wedding, and left a bare table for the cupcakes. A couple of hours later, we were greeted to a beautiful cupcake setup that completely met our expectations, and blended beautifully with the overall décor.

Our guests loved the mini cupcakes – we have received many compliments on them. One guest was rumored to have eaten 15! The small cake for the cutting ceremony was just what we wanted. It tasted great and was decorated to match the mini cupcakes.

We got mini cupcakes in 3 flavors for our wedding and they were absolutely delicious and looked perfect! We were so happy that we chose Snowflake Cupcakes for our wedding! We had lots of compliments from our guests! Our favorite flavor was the red velvet!

We really appreciated how accommodating and easy to work with they were, even up until the last minute!

Amy at Snowflake is a very talented baker. We had three different flavors of mini cupcakes and had one larger one for my wife and I to cut together. They had some fantastic display options too- which took the cupcakes to a new level! Highly recommend the "Sexy Pigeon" flavor: Chocolate cake, cream cheese frosting with a salted caramel drizzle.

We loved snowflake cupcakes. They did a beautiful job. Worked with my color theme and made a wonderful display. They were the best cupcakes I've ever had. I dream about the cookie dough flavored cupcake!

We decided to go with cupcakes to save the cake cutting fee and to be able to have a variety of flavors. We ordered minis and most people said they were the perfect dessert size for after the wedding meal. I couldn't believe how many flavor options there were and they altered the cupcakes per our request (more filling, less sweet frosting, etc). The price was amazing considering how many cupcakes we purchased and they did a great job with the display. Would definitely recommend them!

We decided to go with cupcakes for our wedding and Amy at Snowflake cupcakes was great! She was so easy to work with and it was only $50 to hold our wedding date. She was able to come the day of our wedding and set up all the cupcakes. When I walked into the reception room before my ceremony all I could smell was the cupcakes(the maple one the most :) ) We picked 4 different flavors and our guests loved all of them! Amy does a great job at not only making the cupcakes look great but making them taste great as well!!

We decided to have cupcakes at our wedding in order to have variety for our guests. We ordered both regular sized cupcakes and minis. In hindsight, I would have ordered less regular sized (about 75% of guest list) and more minis (about 125% of guest list). The guests went for the minis! We used the birch stand which worked for us as the catering staff kept putting them out for us. We went with the natural coloring and did not add food coloring to any of the frostings. They were perfect!

The cupcakes were delicious, and the display was beautiful! We rented the birch tree stand to hold the cupcakes, and it looked like a cupcake empire! We got several kinds of cupcakes (mint, chocolate, pistachio), and we and the guests loved them. An excellent unique option compared to the standard single wedding cake.
