About

We provide the best in music and entertainment for any and all occasions throughout the greater Central Florida area. Smooth Musical Entertainment was established in 2002, and is owned and operated by Mike and Julie Madawi of Clermont, Florida. Born and raised on the island of Hawaii, Mike grew up in an island culture with strong family ties and a deep sense of "Ohana" (family) where music had a very strong influence in his upbringing. As a musician and entertainer for the past 30 plus years, he has the experience and knowledge to relate to all audiences (young and old) with a wide variety of musical styles and tastes.

Smooth Musical Entertainment was so awesome. We have never seen a DJ be so interactive with the crowd. Our families both expressed how impressed they were with our DJ. A DJ can make or break a wedding, in our case they for sure helped make our wedding a huge success!

I used Mike for my DJ as well as my wedding officiant. He was very professional and took the time to go over every detail to be sure I got exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend using him for your wedding/event!

We had Adam as our DJ for the evening...& he was GREAT!! He provided a very entertainment evening for all that attended..children-teens-young & mature adult as well as the oldest that attended. The social & dinner hour music was "just" perfect. The lighting provided added much abundance to the room.

Love working with Mike , the price was great .he heard what i wanted and he was there to answer all the questions i had. i would recommend to everyone for any event. He also was the officiant for my wedding , i love how i told him that i would like to have 2 officiant one that spoke English and one in Spanish and that's what i had on my day im so glad i hired him.

My husband and I cannot thank DJ Mike enough!!! He was so wonderful, very professional and did everything we asked of him. Our wedding on February 9th, 2013 was perfect! DJ Mike was able to get everyone on the dance floor and was able to end the night with a blast and on time (as we requested)! I would highly recommend DJ Mike to anyone!

Mr. Madawi was extremely professional, helpful and accommodating. He met with us twice before our wedding, and walked us through all the necessary details while planning our music and MC'ing for the night. He truly thought of everything and made our planning for the night much less stressful than it otherwise would have been. On the wedding night he was on time and did a great job guiding the events of the night. The music was fantastic and the dance floor was packed the entire evening. He also personally sang a song for us, and made the night very special.

Smooth Musical Entertainment delivered everything that was promised and more. They were very responsive to our requests and created the atmosphere that we wanted for our reception. In addition to recorded music, Mike also sang several selections while our guests were dining which added a special touch to the event. They did an excellent job engaging all of our guests and making sure that everyone was entertained.
