The food was amazing! So good, in fact, that barely any of our guests touched the dessert because they were so full! And that's saying something, because we had amazing pies for dessert.
Their website leaves something to be desired in terms of pricing clarity and your ability to go back and view contract agreements. However, Libby (Bensons Catering) more than made up for it with her patience with all of our questions and helpfulness in making adjustments to the plan, even when that meant having to advocate for some price changes.

Guests loved, we loved, fanstastic!
From our initial tasting to the end of the wedding everything was fantastic. We did a two meat buffet with sides. Many guests said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding.
They answered all of our questions and went out of the way to help like sourcing a second high chair because our venue only had one available. The crew on the day was so polite and organized, communicating with us at appropriate times and offering to help with stuff like cutting the cake and bringing napkins, plates, and forks even though it was from another vendor.
Worth every penny, no regrets!

Great food & staff!
Smoke Shack catered a wedding I recently coordinated and everyone LOVED the food! It was delicious, hot and ready to be served when the guests were ready. Their staff was easy to work with as well! I highly recommend Smoke Shack for your special event!

We had Smoke Shack cater our rehearsal dinner, and they did a great job! Our guests raved about the food...and there was so much of it! It really is a great value. Ryan was great to work with, and was extremely flexible with our requests. He was able to accommodate our few guests with food allergies without any problems, and worked with us to put together a delicious, cost-effective menu. The service the day of was amazing as well. The catering staff went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend paying the extra money to get the jars of sauce on the guest tables. They looked really cute with our decor, and just like at the restaurant, we loved mixing and matching the sauces.

Ryan at Smoke Shack was a joy to work with! He responded to our thoughts and requests in a timely manner and really worked with us to help find what worked the best for our wedding. The food was incredible and the service was so smooth due to the quality of the team we worked with. Our guests were still talking about the food a month later. I would highly recommend Smoke Shack!

Smoke Shack did a great job catering our wedding! They were very flexible in mix & matching their menu items to fit our "family style" requests. The service at the wedding was prompt and food was hot, but portions were not large (maybe the other people at my table just ate too much!). I asked everyone after if they had enough to eat and everyone said yes, so I must have just had big eaters at my table. Everything was lovely. I had questions about the invoice which was hard for me to read -- but Smoke Shack handled it very professionally and set an appointment for us to sit down and go through everything. Overall, I would DEFINITELY recommend this to friends. This caterer's food was outstanding, we received a lot of compliments on it, and for the price -- the value can't be beat.

The food was so delicious! They set up and cleaned up everything, it was a huge help.
They did a terrible job responding to emails, phone calls, and faxes. They always seemed too busy for us- but they showed up on the big day on time!

Decent food, lazy management and communication
Positives: our guests enjoyed the food and the actual day of servers were great.
Negatives: Their catering 'manager' Nickie was very unresponsive and overall seemed to be disinterested in answering any of our questions leading up to our wedding day. She completely misquoted us on a few items and then a week before the wedding when we brought it to her attention, she completely brushed us off and told us we're welcome to do it ourselves. Very unprofessional management and on the day of our wedding, she didn't even acknowledge us once despite walking directly in front of us multiple times. The worst vendor out of all of our wedding vendors by far! Pricing is ok, but you do get what you pay for.

Avoid this vendor
Communication was terrible. Our point of contact didn’t even show up at our wedding after saying she would be there. Food was ok which was disappointing because it was amazing at the tasting. During dinner I had to stop eating to go explain to the vendor who got vegan meals and where they were sitting after giving a layout and explanation to our point of contact before. A few days before the wedding I found out they didn’t have the plates I wanted and that they were printing a menu I had to choose. Late night snack was mushy and disappointing. We got to take left over food which there was a lot except oddly no meat was left. This vendor also makes you pay gratitude ahead of time. Very disappointing, at certain points we weren’t even sure we had a catering because the communication was that bad. Avoid!
