So organized, thoughtful and kind!!! We got so many compliments on our music and Emil was so fun to work with! He was so detail oriented and organized.

We can't recommend DJ Emil enough!!! We were on the fence about hiring a professional DJ for our wedding, after having experienced a lot of mediocre DJs at weddings, but from our very first call with Emil, we knew we'd found the perfect person to work with. We really appreciated his positivity, collaborative nature, great communication, and overall expertise. He was very open to working with the playlists we created for the wedding, and ensured that everything ran super smoothly throughout the day. Our guests also loved him, and we received lots of compliments about his DJ-ing style---from the way he made announcements to the smooth transitions he created between songs.

As a wedding gift, Emil created a beautiful audio file of us reading our vows layered over our first dance song---a gift we are going to treasure for a long, long time! We can't thank him enough, and hope that many others will take advantage of his amazing services!

We hired Sky's the Limit for our wedding as both DJ and photo booth services, and they were awesome to work with. Emilien was very professional, and he communicated really well with us leading up to the wedding to make sure he had all of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception song selections correct as well as exactly how we would fade the songs in and out. He broke down each part of the wedding to discuss how he would MC and move the flow of the wedding along with the guests. He also had some great suggestions for music and how to make certain announcements through the night.
From the ceremony through dinner he made the transitions from one part to the next smoothly for both the music and as an MC. During the dancing we got a lot of compliments from guests on how much they loved the music and how great it was to dance to, so he did great reading the crowd.
We also hired a photo booth from Sky's the Limit which came with an attendant, Ariel. She did great also, making sure everything with the booth ran smoothly and helped guests out when they needed it.
Both Emilien and Ariel were very friendly and easy to work with. We would hire them again!

DJ Emil did an excellent job at our recent wedding! Many of our guests commented on how much they loved his playlist and mixing, and our dance floor was packed from the first song to the last. Communication was always great, and he was always very kind and energetic when we spoke, which made us more excited for our day. We really appreciated that he made us a sample playlist for the day, and that we were able to provide feedback on it (which, we barely needed to do because it was so well done). We are so glad and honored that he was a part of our day, and we would highly recommend hiring him for any event!

DJ Emil provided all ceremony audio services for our wedding and reception in April 2025, gracefully MC'ed the speeches portion of the evening, and then kept the party going for hours on the dance floor. Emil is an absolute joy to work with and we loved having him as our wedding DJ! We came across him as a preferred vendor for the Marin Art and Garden Center, and were incredibly impressed by the reviews about Skys the Limit (believe the hype, people!) Emil really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and what you’re looking for. One of our favorite parts of working with him was all the fantastic ideas he shared not only around day of logistics but fun ideas to create special moments. We ended up implementing quite a few of them. We got so many compliments about Emil on the day of our wedding! His audio set-up worked seamlessly, he was an awesome MC, and was a great (and super adaptable) DJ. We also used a photo booth through Skys the Limit and loved it! It was so helpful to have Devin there to make sure the experience went smoothly and overall it was such a fun element for our wedding. We loved how the photos were printed out right there at the wedding but we almost immediately received a link to all the photos online as well!

Sky’s the Limit services included prep materials, meetings, songs / genre recommendations, and thoughtful and engaging MC-ing; other services like song editing, etc. are also available for an additional fee. Since we knew the music genre we wanted for the big parts of our day, we relied on DJ Emil’s expertise to tailor and adjust as needed on the day to enhance or create the vibe for different parts of our wedding. He executed everything perfectly, and his recommendations for whatever we didn’t have a preference for were perfect! Our dance song needed to be edited for the dance routine we found on youtube (shout out to the dance professionals at Steezy Studios), and DJ Emil edited it precisely, accurately, and quickly! DJ Emil’s deep music knowledge is invaluable and, depending on what your relationship is with music, he seems to be able to provide the right level of guidance anyone would need.

DJ Emil’s organized work style enabled us to use our wedding planning time effectively by focusing on the music only when it was needed, and with his high caliber of work, we never worried needlessly. We trusted that he would tell us if he needed something from us and vice versa. His MC-ing throughout the reception injected so much energy, fun, and love at the right moments for our wedding and helped us fully realize the importance of a great MC! He hyped us up for our entrance, got our guests organized for the food and photobooths, made us dance nonstop, and nearly brought us to tears at the end of the night when he surprised us with a sweet couple moment. Our guests commented on how helpful it was to know what was happening when–a testament to how well he worked with our wonderful coordinator, Queen’s Creative Events, to keep everything running smoothly and on time. And last but not least, the photobooth was such a hit with our guests!!! Devin Ariel worked with us to get our formatting for the photostrips and the landing pages and her attention to detail and collaborative approach was deeply appreciated. On the day of, we were so grateful for Devin Ariel’s management of the photobooth–from ensuring it was working smoothly, to nudging our guests to include a copy in our guestbook, and for all the help and guidance throughout the night as people (including us) kept going back to it! She was so patient, kind, and friendly and it made a huge difference in everyone’s experience using the photobooth. Also the photobooth itself was super modern with many cool features, and we had no idea it would come with so many fun props!
