I have known of and seen Simone Band/Magda perform probably about 12x over the last 10 years so I knew once I'd be getting married this was the very first call made and task handled to make sure I would have them play and would have moved the date based on their availability.

I expected it to be truly outstanding. This was always going to be an A+ because of my past experience seeing them perform, but they still were able to surpass it.

This is their livelihood, and it shows. Everything was communicated well in a very timely and easy manner, flexible to talk whenever we needed to finalize details and shared her ideas and vision.

My wedding was set up to be in the vicinity of a 75%-25% Polish-American songs ratio, but Simone Band is very flexible on that and they can read the room for what is working. Once that was established, I thought impressive that they have a spreadsheet ready with different categories of Polish wedding/traditional songs/present day disco polo ready to go with links to preview.

They'll go through the menu of options of different types of musicians and instruments. Simone Band is also experienced in singing at Church during the wedding mass prior to the reception and that was also a no-brainer to choose.
We went with a full band, or as close to it as probably exists. Violinist (incl during church), Accordion (incl during cocktail hr) and saxophone.
As we made decisions on what we would be spending money on for the overall wedding, it was obvious to go with the extra musicians instead of the frivolous things like high end tablecloths, napkins or a photobooth that basically end up the same cost! You don't ever need a photobooth at a great party.

I knew the response from family and friends at the reception would be extremely positive beforehand, but it still shattered my expectations in terms of volume of comments and how blown away people were. People that hadnt danced in a long time, or how long they partied for. This was described by several Americans to me (including the on site facilities staff) as the best wedding theyve ever been to, and they dont speak the language! The energy over like 5 hours of playing was bigtime, and everyone felt it. This was not fluff, not patronizing, I would be able to tell and wouldn't have wrote all this. I was myself surprised at how much the non-Polish-Americans that were present were blown away by their experience.

As I've said to people in the past, I would pay a cover charge at a random person's wedding to go watch them play, dance and have a great time.


Do you want your guests....that in many cases havent danced or had a great party in years or decades(!!!) or ever to just be at "another wedding??"

You won't need to take much time to efficiently evaluate them for your big day. This is an easy one. The combination of quality and seamlessness is why 5 stars is not high enough.

Without a doubt Simone Band was the absolute highlight of our wedding! When me and my husband got engaged our first call was to Simone Band before we even had a venue because they were without a doubt our first choice and they did NOT disappoint! From the beautiful ceremony music Magda and her string duet delivered to the absolute ENERGY the whole band brought to our reception party, it was all amazing. Everybody was on the dance floor all night long and all our guests would come up to us telling us how amazing the band was. Magda is so detailed in the planning prep to make your vision come to life so no doubt you will get the party of your dreams. We hired Simone Band for our wedding because we wanted a live band that could authentically bring together both Polish and American music for our guests. About a third of our guest list was Polish, so it was really important to us to have music that felt familiar and meaningful for everyone in the room. After watching their performances online and speaking with Magda, we felt confident they would be the right fit.

From the beginning, Magda made the planning process straightforward and reassuring. Even though we booked well in advance, she stayed organized and guided us through everything as the wedding approached. We had Zoom calls closer to the date where she walked us through the flow of the evening, shared a list of songs the band could perform, and helped us shape the reception in a way that felt natural and thoughtful. Communication was always clear and reliable throughout.

We also used members of the band for different parts of the day, which really elevated the overall experience. A violinist performed during our ceremony, and a pianist and saxophonist played during cocktail hour, which created a beautiful atmosphere as guests arrived and mingled.

On top of that, we made a special request for Dionne, one of the singers from the band, to be part of our wedding day. Magda was able to coordinate with her, and she graciously agreed to perform. She was absolutely incredible and ended up being one of the standout vocalists of the entire night.

On the wedding day, Simone Band exceeded what we had imagined. The musicians sounded incredible in person (honestly even better than what we had seen in their videos) and Magda’s voice stood out right away. They handled everything with ease, creating a lively but comfortable atmosphere where guests could fully enjoy both the music and the moment.

What really made them special was how naturally they connected with our guests and carried the energy of the entire reception. The dance floor stayed full the entire evening, with guests of all ages dancing throughout the night. The Polish songs in particular were a huge hit with our families and meant a lot to us.

The way they structured the night also worked perfectly. Guests would dance, take a break during set changes to enjoy food and drinks, and then be right back on the dance floor again. One of the most common things we heard after the wedding was how Simone Band was the most talked about part of the entire celebration.

Magda also did a great job guiding the flow of the reception and making announcements throughout the night, which helped everything run smoothly without ever feeling disruptive.

Looking back, Simone Band ended up being one of the defining parts of our wedding. The energy they brought, the quality of the musicianship, and the way they blended both cultures through music made the night unforgettable. We would absolutely hire them again and highly recommend them to any couple looking for a band that can truly carry a wedding reception.

Having them out on the dance floor with everyone just added even more to the atmosphere and made the night feel that much more fun.

Simone Band is top notch! They made our wedding reception unforgettable. Magda was amazing from the beginning. She was involved in the planning, happy to offer suggestions, always promptly answered all of our questions, and made us feel comfortable on the days leading up to the wedding, as well as the day of the wedding when the nerves kicked in haha. It’s obvious that she loves what she does and her enthusiasm is contagious. Each member of this band is extremely talented and they were all super interactive with us and our guests. We had seen Simone Band at other weddings in the past and knew we wanted to work with them! So, they were the first vendor we contacted when it was our turn! Working with Magda was so easy! She knew all the right questions to ask to curate an amazing night for us, our families, and our guests, with just the right mix of Polish and American songs. We loved the accordion player that met us outside the Church after the ceremony. This created a great ambiance as we took photos with family and friends. The live sax and keys players added cool and jazzy vibes to our cocktail hour. Then, Madga and Stefan took the night away as a dynamic MC and DJ duo. Magda's voice is exceptional! She's amazing at getting on the dance floor and keeping the party going. We had so many guests tell us how much fun they had at our wedding! This was largely because of the energy that Simone Band brought that night!! Hands down- Simone Band was the best decision we made!

We worked with Magda since 2022, when we first began planning our wedding. From day one, she was excited to be working with us and went the extra mile to make sure we are planning the best day.

When we experienced some challenging personal circumstances and had to postpone the wedding by a few months, Magda was super understanding and flexible, and continued to work with us during periods of uncertainty.

When the wedding finally happened, it is safe to say that Simone Band was one of the main reasons why this was the biggest party of our lives. They were able to put on a show that brought together 150 people from 3 different cultures (American, British and Polish) to have the best party ever. They seamlessly went from soul, to funk, to rapping, to traditional Polish music and even ukulele as though the music was being played from Spotify. Their talent has no limit! Each song was carefully selected by Magda to make sure every person on the day had something they knew and could dance to.

They engaged with the crowd, performed in the middle of the dance floor and made sure that the floor was packed at all times. It was incredible!

It's been two weeks now and every time we talk to our guests they mention how phenomenal the band on our wedding day was. They all say that they have not seen the dance floor to be packed from the minute it opens to the minute the event is finished.

It was the best party we ever threw and we are hoping we can work with Magda and Simone Band again in the future!

The most incredible band I’ve ever heard! From start to finish, Magdalena went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The band knew exactly how to read the room, keep the energy high, and get everyone on the dance floor. Their attention to detail and level of service blew me away.
